Vivekananda Kendra Arunachal Pradesh recently
organized camps for Swasthya Rakshaks (Health Worker) and Anandalaya
Acharyas at VKV ,Kharsang. The Camp was inaugurated on 29th April 2014
by CO,Kharsang ,Sri.L.Naham. He praised the efforts of Vivekanda Kendra
in the field of education and rural health care and advised the
participants to learn the subjects thoroughly and serve the society
thereafter. He fondly remembered his days in VKV as a student.
16 participants from Tirap and Changlang attended the Health Worker
Camp, where basic health issues were discussed with some practical. The
health sessions were common diseases and their signs and symptoms,
balanced diet, cleanliness, role of Health workers etc.
In Anandalaya 12 partcipants from Tirap and Lohit participated.
Experienced teachers shared their valuable knowledge with the
participants. Activities were conducted with locally available materials
like dry leaves, flowers etc. Both the camps concluded on 3rd May 2014.
