Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, Arun Jyoti Project in collaboration with the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) organized a Free Hearing Assessment and Hearing aid Distribution camp at Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat, on 26th August 2024 for senior citizens.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration at Swarna Bhoomi Samskarvarga of RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, RT Nagar Branch celebrated Raksha Bandhan at the 'Swarna Bhoomi' Samskarvarga on 25th August 2024. A total of 17 participants, including 10 students and 7 Karyakarthas, took part in the celebration.

The Samskarvarga, conducted weekly at the Samhita School of Performing Arts, saw active participation with 33 attendees, including 29 students, 3 shikshaks, and a parent.

Yoga Satra at Kodungallur

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, and Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur, organized a 21-day Yoga Satra from July 25th to August 15th, 2024, with 18 participants.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration at Jalahalli - Hebbal

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, RT Nagar Branch, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with Kendra Varga at Jalahalli Wellness Yoga Path Centre on 25th August 2024, from 7.40 p.m. to 8.40 p.m. A total of 16 people participated in the event.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Jigani Niyojit Nagarsthan celebrated Raksha Bandhan in the villages of Madappana Doddi and Timmayana Doddi, with a total of 113 participants.

Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebration at Kodungallur

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur, celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami on August 26, 2024. A total of 60 participants, including Sandeepani Sishuvihar children, their parents, teachers, and alumni of Sishuvihar, participated in the event.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vallioor, celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami and Raksha Bandhan on 24th August 2024 at the school premises. Youth Motivation Workshop at Bidhannagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, West-Bengal Prant, Eknath Vibhag, Bidhannagar Branch, organized a two-hour Youth Motivation Workshop for the first-semester students of the Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology in Bidhannagar on 23rd August 2024. A total of 80 students actively participated in the workshop.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration at Vivekananda Kendra Headquarters

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Vivekanandapuram, the Headquarters of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, on 19th August 2024. 150 people attended the celebration, including staff, ITBP personnel, and karyakartas.

Kendra Parichay Workshop at Imphal

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, Manipur Vibhag, organized the Kendra Parichay Workshop at Zenith Hall, City Hospital, Khongnang Ani Karak Dewlaland, Imphal, on 18th August 2024. The event drew a gathering of 53 Karyakartas and well-wishers, primarily aimed at engaging and educating them about the Kendra's mission and activities.

78th Independence Day Celebration at VKV Kanyakumari

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kanyakumari, celebrated the 78th Independence Day on the school premises on August 15, 2024, beginning at 8.30 a.m. A total of 1,250 students participated in the celebration. Parents, Teachers, Staff from Vivekananda Kendra Head Quarters, and Kendra Karyakarthas were also present.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, RT Nagar branch organized a special program on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day at Arsha Vidya Kendra on August 15th, 2024. A total of 44 people participated in the celebration.

कन्याकुमारी में आध्यात्मिक शिविर - अगस्त 2024

 विवेकानंद केंद्र, कन्याकुमारी  में   8 से 14 अगस्त 2024 तक विवेकानंदपुरम, कन्याकुमारी में आध्यात्मिक शिविर का आयोजन किया। इस शिविर में दो समानांतर शिविर शामिल थे: एक अंग्रेजी में 24 प्रतिभागियों (19 भाई और 5 बहनें) के साथ और दूसरा हिंदी में 28 प्रतिभागियों (17 भाई और 11 बहनें) के साथ, कुल मिलाकर 52 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। ये प्रतिभागी भारत के 15 विभिन्न राज्यों से आए थे, जिनमें आंध्र प्रदेश, असम, बिहार, दिल्ली, हिमाचल प्रदेश, झारखंड, कर्नाटक, केरल, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, मणिपुर, तमिलनाडु, तेलंगाना, उत्तर प्रदेश और पश्चिम बंगाल शामिल हैं।

Spiritual Retreat 2024

Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, organized a Spiritual Retreat from August 8th to 14th, 2024, at the Training Centre in Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari. The retreat featured two parallel Shibirs: one conducted in English with 24 participants (19 brothers and 5 sisters) and the other in Hindi with 28 participants (17 brothers and 11 sisters), totalling 52 participants.
