Raksha Bandhan Celebration at Jigani

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, Jigani Niyojit Nagarsthan celebrated Raksha Bandhan in the villages of Madappana Doddi and Timmayana Doddi, with a total of 113 participants.

Madappana Doddi and Timmayana Doddi, located near VKV Kallubalu, are village areas where women, elders, and children actively participated in the celebration. The event was coordinated by Sri Parappa Ji, a teacher from VKV Kallubalu, with Sri Rajaram Ji and Sri Ravi Hegade Ji from Jigani also in attendance. The participants tied Rakhis to each other, embracing the spirit of Raksha Bandhan.

The Raksha Bandhan celebration in these village areas reflected the essence of community bonding and cultural unity. By involving the local residents in such meaningful traditions, Vivekananda Kendra continues to strengthen the ties of brotherhood and unity.
