78th Independence Day Celebration at RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag, RT Nagar branch organized a special program on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day at Arsha Vidya Kendra on August 15th, 2024. A total of 44 people participated in the celebration.

The program began with a prayer and Deepa Prajwalan (lighting of the lamp) by senior Karyakartas, Smt. Dharani Amma, Smt. Veena Bhat Didi, Smt. Thara Didi, and Samskara Varga students. Following the welcome address, Smt. Thara Didi spoke about the significance of Independence Day. The dash bhakti song "Bharat Hum Ko" was played on the keyboard. 

In line with the theme of the program, two games, "Jaihind" and "Vande Mataram," were conducted. Everyone sang the patriotic song "Matrubhoomi Gana Se." This was followed by a dash-bhakti dance performance. The parents of the Samskara Varga students, along with a few elders, shared their experiences. The program concluded with the Shanti Mantra and the National Anthem. Prasad was then distributed to all.
