This year we are celebrating the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 12th November. Guru Nanak Jayanti, or as it is commonly called, Guru Nanak Gurpurab, is a Sikh festival which is celebrated with a lot of fervour and excitement in many parts of India and the world by Sikh and Punjabi communities in particular and Indians in general.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji has spoken a lot about environment and interconnectedness of man, animal and nature. Eco-Sikh movement is the outcome of his philosophy and perhaps Sikh community was the first to start eco-pilgrimage network. We the workers of Green Rameswaram project also received the inspiration for starting our work on “Green Resilient Rameswaram” from this network.

जीवन की चुनौतियों पर विजय का प्रतीक विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक

स्वामी विवेकानंद का जन्मशती वर्ष 1963 में सम्पूर्ण भारत में अन्यान्य संगठन अपने स्तर पर मना रहे थे। कन्याकुमारी में भी कुछ लोगों ने विचार किया कि समुद्र के बीच शिला पर भी  स्वामी विवेकानन्द का स्मारक बनाया जाए,  जहाँ उन्होंने 1892 में ध्यान किया और उसके बाद भारत के मूल्यों को पाश्चात्य भूमि पर स्थापित करके भारत को गौरान्वित किया। 1962 में चीन के हाथों धोखा खाने के आघात से उबरने में देश को पुनः गौरवान्वित करने के लिए यह सुयोग्य अवसर सिद्ध हुआ।
 स्मारक के संस्थापक एकनाथजी रानडे का जीवन हमें इस बात के लिए प्रेरित करता है कि जीवन में कठिनाइयों के सामने कभी झुकना नहीं है और एक से एक जुड़ते हुए संगठन बनाते हुए आगे बढ़ते जाना है यही विचार आज पूरे देश में विवेकानंद केन्द्र विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक के 50 में वर्ष में प्रवेश करने के अवसर पर प्रचारित प्रसारित कर रहा है उक्त विचार विवेकानंद केंद्र के प्रकाशन समिति के सदस्य तथा राजस्थान साहित्य अकादमी के सदस्य श्री उमेश कुमार चौरसिया ने शिला स्मारक के संपर्क अभियान के अवसर पर सीनियर सिटीजन ग्रुप 3 की बैठक में व्यक्त किए।

बैठक के दौरान ही श्री मदनलाल शर्मा तथा सुभाष चांदना ने विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक पर अपने बिताए हुए क्षणों को याद किया और विभिन्न संस्करणों को लोगों से साझा किया। महासंपर्क कार्यक्रम हेतु आयोजित इस बैठक का संचालन विभाग संपर्क प्रमुख रविंद्र जैन ने किया।

विवेकानंद केंद्र अजमेर द्वारा एक दिवसीय युवा सम्मेलन का आयोजन

अध्यात्मा प्रेरित सेवा संगठन विवेकानंद केंद्र द्वारा अजमेर के जियालाल टीटी कॉलेज में उठो जागो युवा प्रतियोगिता के आयोजन के दूसरे चरण में एक दिवसीय युवा सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। नगर प्रमुख अखिल शर्मा ने बताया कि इस युवा सम्मेलन में 80 युवक-युवतियों ने सहभागिता की। सम्मेलन के दौरान क्रीडा योग में घूमता किला तथा हाथी घोड़ा पालकी खेल खिलाए गए ।  युवाओं को समूह चर्चा हेतु विषय दिया गया क्या अकेला चना भाड़ फोड़ सकता है और इस विषय पर समूह चर्चा करते हुए विभिन्न समूहों ने अपना प्रेजेंटेशन दिया । राष्ट्रीय कार्य के लिए एक जीवन एक ध्येय की आवश्यकता होती है और इसी पर आधारित विवेकानंद केंद्र के संस्थापक माननीय एकनाथजी रानडे के जीवन और चरित्र से जुड़े हुए प्रसंगों पर आधारित प्रेजेंटेशन विद्यार्थियों द्वारा किए गए । विभाग सह संचालक कुसुम गौतम ने बताया कि आज युवाओं को अच्छे संस्कार तथा साथ ही अध्यात्म आधारित विकास की संकल्पना समझने की महती आवश्यकता है अपने जीवन मूल्यों को स्थापित करने के लिए जिस प्रशिक्षण की आवश्यकता होती है वह प्रशिक्षण विवेकानंद केंद्र अपने व्यक्तित्व विकास शिविरों के माध्यम से युवाओ को देने का प्रयास केंद्र कर रहा है  । युवा प्रमुख अंकुर प्रजापति ने आगामी 8 से 12 नवंबर को जोधपुर में आयोजित होने वाले आवासीय उठो जागो युवा प्रेरणा शिविर के पंजीकरण हेतु आह्वान किया जिसमें से 20 विद्यार्थियों ने पंजीकरण की स्वीकृति प्रदान की है । ध्यातव्य है कि पूर्व में क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान से पहले ही 30 विद्यार्थियों के रजिस्ट्रेशन शिविर हेतु हो चुके हैं युवा सम्मेलन में केंद्र के शिक्षा संस्कार प्रकल्प की कार्यकर्ता शेफाली सांखला ने भी सहयोग किया । युवा सम्मेलन के अंत में विवेकानंद केंद्र द्वारा सभी विद्यार्थियों को उठो जागो युवा प्रतियोगिता के सर्टिफिकेट बांटे गए ।

Vidyarambam Celebration at VKV Vallioor

“May Goddess saraswathi fills our life with eternal light of Knowledge.”
In our school we celebrated Vijayadasami & Vidhyarambam in a grand manner on 08.10.2019. The ceremony commenced with prayer song by our teacher Mrs.N.Lalitha  Parameshwari. Next lightning the lamp by our parents. Next our teacher Mrs. S.Esakkiammal @ Devi proposed the welcome address and delivered a speech on Vidyarambam
Regarding the Vidyarambam  celebration we have arranged Kolu in a grand manner with the support and team work of our teachers and students. On this auspicious day we have conducted pooja by chanting mantras and all of us participated in the pooja. Next  our honourable chief guest Shri.Ayappanji  delivered an eloquent speech on Swamiji and also about the importance of Vidyarambam celebration. Next our correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanian  and our Principal Mrs.Maheshwari continued the Vidyarambam with great inspiration. our Chief guest Shri.Ayappanji wrote the great matra “Ohm” in the turmeric rice to our new kids. nearly 20 parents with their children participated in the function and graced the function. The celebration came to an end with Kendra Prayer.

Green Rameswaram Sept 2029

Mama, 59 years old and the oldest chimpanzee and the matriarch of the famous chimpanzee colony of the Royal Burgers Zoo in Arnhem, the Netherlands, was gravely ill. Jan Van Hooff (emeritus professor behavioral biology at Utrecht University and co-founder of the Burgers colony) who has known Mama since 1972, visited her in the week before she died of old age in April 2016. It took a while before she became aware of Jan's presence. Her reaction was extremely emotional and heart-breaking. Mama played an important social role in the colony. This has been described in "Chimpanzee Politics" by Frans de Waal, who studied the colony since 1974.
We at Green Rameswaram project too trying to sensitize the public, towards the love for flora and fauna and the fellow human beings. This will help in creating a better eco system for all beings which is the need of the hour.

Universal brotherhood Day Celebration at Ludhiana

Vivekananda Kendra Ludhiana celebrated Universal Brotherhood day at Victoria Public School, Dehlon for the students of class 10, 11th and 12th.  A lecture of teachings of Swami Vivekananda was delivered as part of celebration. There was another program in Khalsa Girls college of Ludhiana, appx 100 students participated in the  program. A lecture of teachings of Swami Vivekananda was delivered.

दान राशि से बनी है विवेकानंद केंद्र शिला

कन्याकुमारी में विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक के 50वें वर्ष के अवसर पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र ‘एक भारत विजयी भारत’ के अन्तर्गत राष्ट्र-व्यापी महासम्पर्क का कार्य 2 सितम्बर 2019 से प्रारम्भ करने जा रहा है।कन्याकुमारी में विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक के 50वें वर्ष के अवसर पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र ‘एक भारत विजयी भारत’ के अन्तर्गत राष्ट्र-व्यापी महासम्पर्क का कार्य 2 सितम्बर 2019 से प्रारम्भ करने जा रहा है। विवेकानंद केंद्र, कन्याकुमारी की उपाध्यक्ष निवेदिता भिड़े जी ने जानकारी दी कि इस सम्पर्क कार्य का शुभारम्भ महामहिम राष्ट्रपति से 2 सितम्बर को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के अखिल भारतीय अधिकारियों द्वारा उन्हें राष्ट्रपति भवन में सम्पर्क करके किया जायेगा। उसके पश्चात अखिल भारतीय अधिकारी उप राष्ट्रपति तथा प्रधनमन्त्री को सम्पर्क करेंगे। उसके बाद प्रत्येक राज्य के राज्यपाल एवं मुख्यमन्त्री और राज्य के प्रत्येक क्षेत्र तथा समाज के गणमान्य लोगों से सम्पर्क कर उनको स्वामी विवेकानन्द के सन्देश, विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक की प्रेरणादायी गाथा और विवेकानन्द केन्द्र की गतिविधियों से अवगत कराया जायेगा। साथ ही विवेकानंद के विचारों से परिचित कराया जाएगा।

निवेदिता भिड़े जी ने बताया कि यह संपर्क कार्यक्रम 2 सितंबर 2019 से शुरू होकर वर्ष भर चलेगा। केंद्र के 1000 से अधिक प्रकल्पों से जुड़े हुए 20 हजार से अधिक कार्यकर्ता समाज के विभिन्न वर्ग के लोगों के बीच जाकर उनसे संपर्क करेंगे। कार्यक्रम के तहत कम से कम 30 लाख लोगों से संपर्क का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। वर्ष भर संपर्क कार्यक्रम की समाप्ति के बाद दिल्ली अथवा कन्याकुमारी में एक वृहद कार्यक्रम की भी रूपरेखा तैयार की जा रही है। प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी की उपाध्यक्ष निवेदिता भिड़े के अलावा उपाध्यक्ष वी बालाकृष्ण, महासचिव भानुदास धाक्रस, संयुक्त महासचिव रेखा दवे, संयुक्त महासचिव किशोर टोकेकर उपस्थित रहे।

विवेकानंद रॉक मेमोरियल की गाथा
स्वामी विवेकानन्द ने दिनांक 25 ,26 एवं 27 दिसम्बर 1892 को कन्याकुमारी में समुद्र स्थित शिला पर बैठकर ध्यान किया था। भारत की उस अन्तिम शिला पर बैठकर उन्होंने अपने जीवन के ध्येय को प्राप्त किया था और निर्णय लिया कि वे भारत के खोये हुये गौरव को पुनः वापस लाने के लिये कार्य करेंगे। 1963 में स्वामी विवेकानन्द की जन्म शताब्दी मनाने के समय ऐसा निर्णय लिया कि उनके स्मरण में उस शिला पर जिसका राष्ट्रीय इतिहास में महान महत्व है, एक स्मारक का निर्माण किया जाये।

विशालकाय समस्याओं को पार करके एकता और सार्थकता का सन्देश देता हुआ यह स्मारक जो शिला पर निर्मित हुआ उसका पचासवां वर्ष शुरू हो रहा है। इसकी अद्वितीय कथा से यह लोगों से आह्वान करती है कि राष्ट्रहित के लिये प्रादेशिक, राजनीतिक एवं छोटे छोटे भेद-भावों को भूलकर हमें ऊपर उठना है. कन्याकुमारी में स्थित विवेकानन्द शिला पर निर्मित यह स्मारक, अपने-आप में एक ऐसा अद्वितीय स्मारक है जिसके निर्माण का संकल्प लोगों द्वारा किया गया तथा सम्पूर्ण देशवासियों के सहयोग से इसे बनाया गया।

इस स्मारक की प्रथम विलक्षणता यह है कि यह देश में निर्मित पहला स्मारक है जिसमें उस काल के दिल्ली में उपस्थित 323 सांसदों ने दल के रंग-रूपों को भूलते हुये इसके निर्माण के लिये आग्रह किया।

दान राशि से बनी है शिला
स्मारक की दूसरी विलक्षणता है कि विवेकानन्द स्मारक के निर्माण के लिये उस समय की 1 प्रतिशत वरिष्ठ जनसंख्या ने एक एक रुपये के दान से 85 लाख धनराशि का योगदान दिया। तीसरी विलक्षणता शिला पर निर्मित इस भव्य स्वामी विवेकानन्द के स्मारक की यह है कि (1964-70) की निर्माण अवधि में लगभग देश के सभी राज्यों की सरकार ने चाहे उसमें किसी भी दल का शासन हो, इसमें कम से कम एक लाख रुपये की धनराशि दान दी। केन्द्रिय सरकार का भी रुपये 15 लाख का इसमें योगदान रहा। इस प्रकार विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक सही रूप से राष्ट्रीय स्मारक है जिसे भारत के उस महान देशभक्त संन्यासी के स्मरण में बनाया गया।स्मारक की चैथी विशेषता यह है कि अजंता, एलोरा, पल्लव, चोला, बेलूड. मठ और अनेक सुन्दर और अद्वितीय शिल्प कलाकृृतियों का संगम है।

यह एकमेव स्मारक है कि जिससे 1972 में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र एक आध्यात्म प्रेरित सेवा संगठन ने जन्म लिया। युवक और युवती, स्वामी विवककानन्द के शब्दों में – ‘पवित्रता की ज्वाला से दैदीप्तमान, ईश्वरीय शाश्वत शक्ति में अटूट विश्वास रखनेवाले, निर्धनों, पतित तथा पददलितों के प्रति सहानुभूति के कारण मृृगेन्द्र का धैर्य धारण कर’ – अपना जीवन ‘जीवनव्रती’ के रूप में राष्ट्र को समर्पित कर  संगठन के कार्यकर्ता बनेंगे। उनको प्रशिक्षित करके देश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में भेजा जाता है। वहां वे जिनको समाजहित में कार्य करने की रुचि है ऐसे लोगो के साथ विभिन्न सेवा गतिविधियों का संचालन करते हैं।

आज 1005 स्थानों पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र का सेवा कार्य देशभर में चल रहा है। केन्द्र योग, शिक्षा, ग्रामीण विकास, युवा विकास, बच्चों का सर्वांगीण विकास, नैसर्गिक संसाधनों का विकास, ग्रामीण एवं जनजाति क्षेत्र में सांस्कृृतिक शोधकार्य, प्रकाशन आदि का कार्य कर रहा है। भारतीय सरकार ने विवेकानन्द केन्द्र को 2015 वर्ष के ‘गांधी शान्ति पुरस्कार’ देकर इसके कार्य को  सम्मानित किया है।

स्मारक के निर्माण में भारतभर से इतने लोगों का सहयोग रहा कि इसका उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम 2 सितम्बर 1970 से प्रारम्भ होकर दो महीना चलता रहा। भारत के लोगों ने एक होकर इस स्मारक का सफलतापूर्वक निर्माण किया। इस भव्य स्मारक का निर्माण सघन सम्पर्क के कारण हो सका, इसलिये इसके 50वे वर्ष में यह सोचा गया कि ‘एक भारत विजयी भारत’ शीर्षक के अन्तर्गत राष्ट्रव्यापी सम्पर्क किया जाये।

Service activities

“Through 75  Balwadis, 1675 rural Children  were nurtured. In all the Balwadis, Malt along with hygienically prepared, highly nutritive lunch with vegetables were served during the day and in the evening vitamin-rich cereals were provided to the children”.
Eye  camps  were  conducted  at 3 places, in  Kanyakumari,  Thoothukudi and Ramnad districts in which 517 were treated for  their  eye ailments  and 75 underwent a cataract operation. 15 persons were given eye medicines and 18 persons were given spectacles.
In  our  Medicare  Programme, 1568   patients  were  examined  and  treated for  various common  ailments,  through  14  Rural Medical Centers in Kanyakumari, Nellai and  Thoothukudi districts.
4 tailoring units are functioning well in Nellai district with the total attendance of 85.

Cultural activities
    Yoga Varga has been conducted at  2 places in Aruppukottai and Kovilpatti where 24 persons attended.
    Vivekavani Subscriptions 177 collected and two Yuva Bharathi.
    Shivalinga Pooja conducted at 3 places in Kanyakumari District where 215 devotees participated.
    Under  ‘Adopt  a  Granny  Programme’, 29 destitutes  and old people were provided with monthly solatiums,  in  the  form  of  rice,  dhal,oil,etc., for their  livelihood   and   121  persons were provided with rice only in Southern five districts of  Tamilnadu.
    94 women are being benefited in 5 Self Help Groups in Kanyakumari district.    
    Durga Pooja was conducted at 3 places in Kanyakumari District and 245 devotees participated.
    Through various branch centers, including Thoothukudi A.O.  and book stalls, literature books were  sold  for Rs.64,092/- .
    Monthly Deepa poojas were  organized in 222 village temples in five  districts   of   Southern  Tamilnadu,  in  which  7784  ladies participated  and  offered   prayers  for the welfare of the self, family and the society.
    In 171 Sanskara Vargas, 6225 students participated. The students were taught about the values of Indian Culture through games, lectures & lessons.  The feelings of oneness were strengthened among the participants, through patriotic songs and games.
    Under Amrita Surabhi Scheme, our Kendra workers collected 734 Kgs of rice from Southern five districts.
    Parents meeting were conducted at 4 places, in Thoothukudi district in which 105 devotees participated.
    Balwadi  teachers refresher camp was held  from  30.06.2019  to  03.07.2019. Teachers from Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram  and Virudhunagar districtsattended the  camp. Totally  130  teachers  and 18  workers  attended  the  camp. During the camp all the teachers were well trained.
    Social workers  refresher camp was held from 05.07.2019 to 08.07.2019 at Kanyakumariand 22 workers participated. All Social Workers visited Thiruparappu falls.
   On 8th July Vahana pooja was performed. On 4th July 2019 Swami Vivekanandar Maha samathi day was observed with Anna Pooja and Social Workers Cultural  Programme  at  Kanyakumari. In that  function  nearly 23,120 kg. rice was collected in  Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari district. More than 1000 persons came from southern five districts  and  participated  in  this  programme. Education Aid was distributed to 17 needy students worth of  Rs.59,500/-  sponsored  by  Sriganesh  Nantha  Gopal -  Coimbatore, Dr. Maria Pia  Machi, Siva  Priya Ashramam -  Curtralam. More than  3000  persons  were  served with  noon  prasatham including Vivekananda Kendra Vidhyalaya Kanyakumari,Vallioor students and teachers .
  Guru Purnima was celebrated at Southern five districts. Nearly at 77 places and 7263 participated in this programme.
 Anna Pooja & Gurupoornima celebration was conducted on 16.07.2019 in  Ayyappa College at Nagercoil and 815 persons participated and 500 kg. rice collected.
 1008 Deepa  Pooja conducted  on 28.07.2019, in Pathmanapapuram  Arulmigu Nainar Neelakanda Swami  Temple, where 965 devotees  participated from 42 villages in Kanyakumari district. Before Deepa Pooja Cultural class and Balwadi students’ dramas and songs were staged.         
  “Sri Rama  Jeya  Rama” Mantra  was  chanted  during  Deepa Pooja, Shivalinga Pooja  and  daily with  our  Balwadi  school  children, cultural class  students and during  monthly  meetings  by  our  Balwadi  teachers and Social Workers. This month nearly 8, 37,928 times mantras were chanted in 84 localities.
 This month, we have distributed the rice which was collected through AmritaSurab and Anna Pooja to Balwadi children, old poor people and the institutions as mentioned below :
 Mouzhanagurusamy madam, Thottiodu - Kanyakumari district - 120 Kgs
 Guganatheeshwarai Kovil - Kanyakumari district - 200 Kgs
Inspiring Incidents
A.Sankaravadivu – Chekkarakudi – Thoothukudi district
I am working in Chekarakudi –  Creche. Once I went to Meenakshi paati to distribute the notice for Srivaikundam eye camp. We were distributing the notice in the hot summer day. A sister named Mariammal pitied us and invited kindly to take some coffee or tea in her house. When we rejected she insisted us to have some water at least. Her caring and kindness towards us touched my heart. On the day of the camp a grand old man from Thozhappannai village came to the camp. His name is Lakshmanan. He is running a petti shop in the village. Doctor had advised him to wear spectacles having no money he approached me. We have arranged the specs through Kendra. He felt much happy and blessed all our Kendra service whole heartedly.
A.Kanahambaram – Kovilpatti – Thoothukudi district
On 26.11.2017 our free eye camp was conducted at Soorangudi. One of the beneficiaries of the camp came to me wearing the spectacle issued in the camp. She told me that she had got back her lost eye sight and was able to go for work in the woods. Her happy and grateful words made me happy and contented.

S.Renugabai – Peyankuzhi – Kanyakumari district
On behalf of Indra Gandhi library Youth, a free eye camp was held at Aadhi Dravida Welfare Hr. Sec. School, Kalingarajapuram on 17.09.2017. Thiru. Kanagaraj of that village was advised for operation at  Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli. He is a wood cutter in the forest. After getting operated he got his eye Sight back. He came to me and said that I thought of losing my life when my eye sight was affected. Because of my assurance only he attended the camp. He expressed his gratitude and happiness to me with tears and blessed me. That day I had realized the real effect of my fruitful service. The Credit goes to Kendra only.

One day I asked the kids to chant Rama Nama for getting rain. We chanted Sri. Rama Jeyam with that intention. Really there was rainfall in the evening. We were all happy and enjoyed the rain. The next day a girl named Ushakavi recalled that and insisted me to chant Mantra to get rain. Her faith made me happy.

S.Kavitha – Kallaveerianvilai – Kanyakumari district
Once I went to Ethamozhi Primary School for some personal purpose. While I met the Head Master. She welcomed me happily and introduced me to the P.E.T.there. She told her that the students from Vivekananda Creche are more initiative and intelligent compared to the other School kids. Another teacher standing nearly came forward and enthusiastically admitted that she was an old student of Kendra Creche and myself was her teacher then. That situation made me proud of being a service worker in Vivekananda Kendra.

C.Leela –Peyankuzhi – Kanyakumari district
This touching incident happened while collecting rice in Pulluvilai for the Annapooja at Kanyakumari  Smt.Jeya, a social worker there welcomed me and came forward to help me voluntarily. She assured me that she would collect rice from all the residents there and keep them in Mutharamman Temple. She also recollected the previous years’ Anna Pooja and told me that the rice given as prasada from Annapooja blessed them with immense wealth and health. Vivekananda Kendra only taught us involve in giving and gaining. I felt proud of her commitment towards Kendra.

Renuga Bai – Kalingarajapuram - Kanyakumari district
This happened while distributing the notice for the Anna Pooja. We were in the shopping zones of Marthandam. When we approached the shopkeepers some got irritated and some others donate without much interest. Only a few welcomed us and enquired about Anna Pooja and then donate rice or money as they wished. Among them a shopkeeper running a little corner shop went through the notice and told us that till then no sales in his shop. But we had come for a good cause and hence asked us to take one kg of rice and Rs. 50/-. He also asked us to approach same big stores where we could get more rice and donation. We were much impressed by that poor shopkeeper’s approach and thanked him.

One small step can changed one's life

In August 2018, the Mobile Medical Team of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti visited Wakka for Medical Camps. Our Nagar Sanyojak, Sri Saikhang Sir informed us about an eight years old boy, Kr Danggang Gangsa of Wakka village. Wakka is in Longding Dist of Arunachal Pradesh, about 90 Kms hill track from Dibrugarh which takes around 5-6 hrs with own vehicle and more than 12 hrs by Govt bus.
Kr Danggang Gangsa was born in 2010 with anorectal malformation. It was a medical emergency and colostomy surgery was immediately done in Dibrugarh. The Doctors advised the parents to visit them after 6 months, so that they can operate him for the anal opening. But, due to financial crisis, they didn’t come for the second operation and kept the children
at home. We went to see the children. The condition was pathetic. As he had the anal opening at his abdomen, he stayed in isolation and he didn’t have any friends to play with. Even his siblings avoided him.  He didn’t go to school. The parents requested us if we can do something for this child.
As he needed multiple and complicated surgeries, we decided to find out the best paediatric surgeon of Upper Assam.  We got to know about Dr. Hemonto Dutta, Professor and HOD of Paediatric Surgery, Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh. We contacted him and briefed about the child and about their financial condition. He immediately agreed to see the child and the child was examined in October 2018. DR. Dutta Sir fixed the date for the first surgery. Sir assured that the free will be free of cost. But the parents were so poor that they even didn’t have money for travelling and staying at Dibrugarh for few days. So, the people of Wakka area started crowd funding and collected some funds for them. The child was successfully operated and the anal opening was created. It was a very critical and long surgery. But he recovered fast and was discharged after ten days. They were advised to come after six to ten month for the next surgery. Our team was always in contact with them to see the progress of the child.
In July 2019, they came to Dibrugarh again for the next surgery. He was operated to close the colostomy. This occasion, the present MLA of Wakka also helped them financially. It was a minor surgery and the child was discharged after five days. Now Kr Danggang Gangsa is in his own village, happy and healthy. Parents are planning to admit him to the local school very soon.
We the Mobile Medical Team of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti are very grateful to Dr. Hemonto Dutta Sir for all the help he offered. The way the people of Wakka area came out to help the family of the little child is praiseworthy. If the society  ecomes sensitive and concerned like this, nobody will suffer.

Gandhi Peace Prize 2015

Herewith we are pleased to inform you all that the Gandhi Peace Prize amount was handed over to the Defence Minister of India Mananeeya Rajnath Singh ji by Kendra's Vice Presidents Mananeeya A Balakrishnan ji and Mananeeya Nivedita Didi at his residence on 8 Aug 2019. Sri Bhanudas ji and Sri Pravin Dabholkar ji also were present.

The Managing Committee and the General Body of the Kendra  in its meeting dated 29 April 2019 approved the donation of the sum to the welfare of families of Martyrs.
The cheque of Rs 1,02,44,000/- (with interest) was drawn in favour of  'Army Battle Casualities Welfare Fund'.

महामहिम राष्ट्रपति, आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री, उपस्थित सभी मंत्री गण, महानुभावों को विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी का अभिवादन और प्रणाम। कन्याकुमारी में समुद्र के मध्य में स्थित विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक के ५० वर्ष पूर्ण होने के अवसर पर, विवेकानंद केंद्र के कार्य को, यह गाँधी शांति पुरस्कार देने के लिए गाँधी शांति पुरस्कार समिति सदस्य तथा समिति के अध्यक्ष माननीय प्रधान मंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र भाई मोदी जी को हम विशेष धन्यवाद देते है। विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक को माननीय एकनाथजी रानडे ने केंद्र सरकार, सारे राज्य सरकार तथा भारतीय जनता के सहयोग से 1970 में पूर्ण किया था. इसके निर्माण में पूर्ण भारत ने एक होकर स्वामी विवेकानंद के प्रति अपनी श्रध्दा को मूर्त रूप दिया था. सही अर्थ से यह राष्ट्रीय स्मारक रहा है. उसी शिला पर है स्वामी विवेकानंद ने भारत की एकात्मता तथा पुनरुत्थान के लिए अपना जीवन समर्पित करनेका का निर्णय लिया था। विवेकानंद केंद्र इसी स्मारक का द्वितीय चरण है. देश के लिए समर्पित जीवनव्रती कार्यकर्ता और स्थानिक कार्यकर्ता विवेकानंद केंद्र के सेवा कार्य को दुर्गम क्षेत्रोंमें, ग्रामीण क्षेत्रोंमें चला रहे हैं. विवेकानंद केंद्र, स्वामी विवेकानंदजी के विचार ‘मनुष्य के अन्तर्निहित शक्ति के प्रगटन’ तथा ‘मानव सेवा ही माधव सेवा है’ इसे आधारभूत रखते हुए मनुष्य निर्माण और राष्ट्र पुनरुत्थान का कार्य 900 से अधिक स्थानों पर आज संचालित कर रहा है। महात्मा गाँधी जी ने शांति और सौहार्दपूर्ण भारतीय समाज को रामराज्य के रूप में देखा था ऐसे समाज निर्माण में बुनियादी शिक्षा, ग्रामीण विकास और नैसर्गिक उर्जा का प्रयोग, युवा और स्त्रियों का विकास एवं राष्ट्रकार्य में उनका सहभाग, विश्वबंधुत्व के लिए कार्य ऐसे अनेक क्षेत्रों में विवेकानंद केंद्र कार्यरत है. इस  गांधी शांति पुरस्कार ने विवेकानंद केंद्र के कार्य की गरिमा को निश्चित बढ़ाया है उससे ही अधिक, दुर्गम क्षेत्र में कार्य करनेवाले हजारो कार्यकर्ताओं के सेवा और समर्पण को ही प्रतिष्ठित किया है. विवेकानंद केंद्र गांधी शांति पुरस्कार को सहर्षातासे, कृतज्ञता से तथा अत्यंत विनयतापूर्वक स्वीकार करते हुए इस कार्य को निरन्तरता से और परिणामकारी आगे ले जाने का दृढ़ संकल्प दोहराता है। पुलवामा की आतंकी घटना और उसमे शहीद हुए हमारे वीर जवानों का स्मरण करते हुए, इस पुरस्कार में प्राप्त राशी, विवेकानंद केंद्र, भारतीय सेना और शहीद जवानों के परिवार के हित में विनिमय करनेका निर्णय लेता हैं ।

Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Program Activity in June

Service activities
    1.“Through  75  Balwadis, 1679 rural Children  were nurtured. In all the Balwadis, Malt along with hygienically prepared, highly nutritive lunch with vegetables were served during the day and in the evening vitamin-rich cereals were provided to the children”.
    2. Eye  camps  were  conducted  at 3 places, in  Kanyakumari, Nellai and Thoothukudi districts in which 717 were treated for  their  eye ailments  and 144 underwent a cataract operation. 34 persons were given eye medicines and 37 persons were given spectacles.
    3. In  our  Medicare  Programme, 1681   patients  were  examined  and  treated for  various common  ailments,  through  14  Rural Medical Centers in Kanyakumari, Nellai and  Thoothukudi districts.
    4. 5 tailoring units are functioning well in Nellai district with the total attendance of 94.

Cultural activities
    5. Yoga Varga has been conducted at  2 places in Aruppukottai and Kovilpatti where 26 persons attended.
    6. Vivekavani Subscriptions including 78 and seven Patrons were collected.
    7. Shivalinga Pooja conducted at 3 places in Kanyakumari District where 212 devotees participated.
    8. Under  ‘Adopt  a  Granny  Programme’, 28 destitutes  and old people were provided with monthly solatiums,  in  the  form  of  rice,  dhal,oil,etc., for their  livelihood   and   121  persons provided with rice only in Southern five districts of  Tamilnadu.
    9. 94 women are being benefited in 5 Self Help Groups in Kanyakumari district.   
    10. Durga Pooja conducted at 3 places, in Kanyakumari District 246 devotees participated.
    11. Through various branch centers, including Thoothukudi A.O.  and book stalls, literature books were  sold  for Rs.34,450/- .
    12. Monthly Deepa poojas were  organized in 221 village temples in five  districts   of   Southern  Tamilnadu,  in  which  8082  ladies participated  and  offered   prayers  for the welfare of the self, family and the society.
    13. In 170 Sanskara Vargas, 6514 students participated. The students were taught about the values of Indian Culture through games, lectures & lessons.  The feelings of oneness were strengthened among the participants, through patriotic songs and games.
    14. Under Amrita Surabhi Scheme, our Kendra workers collected 559 Kgs of rice from Southern
five districts.
    15. Yoga camp performed in Kovilpatti 54 gents participated.
    16. Cultural class teachers training programme was conducted in Surandai,Tirunelveli district and 40 teachers participated.
    17. Parents meeting was conducted in Ramnad district at3 places and 65 participated.
    18. 1008 Deepa Pooja conducted on 9th, 15th,& 23th June 2019  respectively in Nainarkovil -
Sri Sowuntharanayagi sametha Arulmigu Naganathar Temple, Ambai - Sri Agastheeshwarar Temple and Tiruchuli- Arulmigu Thunaimalaiamman Sametha Thirumeninatha Swami Temple and  where 700, 861 and  1012 devotees participated from 70 villages. Before Deepa Pooja Mathru Sammelan and precession conducted in which Cultural class,  Balwadi students dramas, and songs  performed.   Kendra Varga performed in Aruppukottai two places and 46 persons participated.
    19. An international Yoga day programme was conducted in 14 places from Southern five district
890 person participated.
    20.  “Sri Rama  Jeya  Rama” Mantra  was  chanted  during  Deepa Pooja, Shivalinga Pooja  and  daily with  our  Balwadi  school  children, cultural class  students and during  monthly  meetings  by  our  Balwadi  teachers and Social Workers. This month nearly 7,76,624 times mantras were chanted in 84 localities.

Inspiring Incidents
R.Mallika – Andarkulam – Kanyakumari district
There are 32 kids in our Creche. One week back the fan didn’t work and the kids couldn’t sleep because of sweating. I searched for somebody to repair the fan. K.Anish, +1 student (an old student of our Creche) came forward to get it repaired. He took the fan to the electric shop and returned back within one hour. He himself connected the fan and checked properly. His volunteer service in that young age impressed me. All the kids were happy and thanked him.

R.Reginal – Thengamputhoor _ Kanyakumari district
One day I was walking towards the bus stop. At that time a student named Santhanalakshmi ran to me and fell down on my foot asking me to bless her as her X STD Exam started that day. She studied in our Creche. I was stunned by her deed and blessed whole heartedly. She introduced me  proudly to her friends that I was the ladder pushing her up in her childhood. She also told me that she stood first in her class. I felt much proud of that incident and thought of Swamiji for his blessings. We are kept in high position because of Kendra service.

P.Muneeswari – Chekkarakudi – II – Thoothukudi district
On 18.03.2018 during the Deepa Pooja at Ottapidaram, we had staged a skit on “Awake Hindus”. After seeing the skit, a lady came to me and congratulated me for acting humorously. She also told that all the Hindus must see that because many of them didn’t know how a Hindu should be. She assured me that next time she would bring all her neighbors to the mass pooja. I felt proud on hearing the effect of our effort.

V.Somasundari – Chekkarakudi – 1 – Thoothukudi district
A child named Akkinimuthu is studying in our Creche. One day her mother fetched him saying that he had fever the day before. She asked me to inform her if fever repeated. Keeping it in mind, the child came to me again and again saying “Teacher I have fever”. I felt that he was OK. In order to divert him I asked him to say Sivapuranam. The other kids also started saying Sivapuranam. Then all went to sleep. In the evening I asked Akkinimuthu how he was. He replied me that his fever had gone as he said Sivapuranam. He also repeated the same to her mother also. She felt very happy on his faith and at home she started chanting Sivapuranam. This event touched my heart.

A.Kanagambaram – Kovilpatti – Thoothukudi district
Once I was walking along the roadside of Kulathur. A lady had approached me and asked when the summer class would start. I asked her to wait for the notice and asked her the reason. She replied me that after attending the class last year her daughter had developed many good habits such as feeding crows, drawing kolam with rice flour and so on. Her awareness and faith touched my heart.

Packia Saroja – Peyankuzhi – Kanyakumari District
On 07.02.2018 some people from Aralvaimozhi came to Vivekanandapuram for routine eye checkup after getting operated through our free eye camp. Unfortunately they had forgotten to bring their Check-up cards. The doctors asked them to bring them from their homes. As they couldn’t go and return before the close of the camp they were confused. A lady accompanied them wisely contacted the people at home and asked them to send the needed cards through whatsapp. Then everything went on well. The timely help of quick technology touched my heart.

S.Shanmuga Bharathi – Vallioor –Tirunelveli district
On 25.02.2018 an aged person who underwent cataract operation in one eye camp through Kendra free eye camp the previous year attended the camp at Swami Sivananda Hospital, Pathamadai. He was selected for operation in the other eye. Without any hesitation he happily accepted and told that because of the previous camp he got one eye operated and could see well. Hence he had no fear and much confidence in Kendra eye camp. His confidence touched my heart.

Acharya Prashikshan Shibir, an annual program organised by Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari every year to update the learning and teaching skills of the teachers of VKVs. Further inculcate the value systems and make them aware about the Bharatiya Sanskriti and Kendra activities.
The  Acharya Prashikshan Shibir of 2019 was attended by 5 KGBV teachers, 61 teachers of Arunachal Pradesh , 56 teachers of Assam, 4 teachers of Andaman and 2 teachers from Kallubalu representing 28 VKVs under VKVAPT, 17 VKVs under VKSPV and 4 and 2 teachers of Andaman and Karnataka respectively. All of them reported on 2nd April 2019 at Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari. There were 76 Sisters and 52 Brothers in total.

From Green Warrior to Respect Ecological Cycles

Stephen William Hawking (8 January 1942 – 14 March 2018) was an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author.
He predicted that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. He was a vigorous supporter of the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. Hawking is known all over the world through his book ‘A Brief History of Time’ appeared on the British Sunday Times best-seller list for a record-breaking 237 weeks.

In 1963, Hawking was diagnosed with an early-onset, slow-progressing form of motor neurone disease (MND), that gradually paralysed him over the decades. Even after the loss of his speech, he was still able to communicate through a speech-generating device. He died on 14 March 2018 at the age of 76, after living with the disease for more than 50 years. In this issue, we have given some of his quotable quotes.

Free ENT Surgery Camp at Sonari

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Project: Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh in association with Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital, Sonari conducted one Free ENT Surgery Camp on 23rd and 24th September 2019. A team of five Doctors and one OT Sister under the leadership of Dr. Pradeep Kumar PS (MENTS Hospital, Bengaluru) rendered their valuable service voluntarily during the free camp. A total 16 surgeries were conducted successfully .Out of them 9 were ear surgeries and 7 were nasal surgeries. The Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital, Sonari provided us their OT infrastructure and Man-power. 37 patients were examined in our ENT OPD by the specialist Doctor. Patients from Charaideu district of Assam, Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh and Mon district of Nagalang were benefitted. Dr. Milan Kumar, the ENT Specialist of Civil Hospital screened all the patients and actively participated in the camp. Dr. Saumen Bhagawati, Superintendent of Civil Hospital helped whole heartedly and promised the same cooperation for future camps also.

This is to be mentioned that the camp has been sponsored by ECGC Ltd., Mumbai.

GOKULASHTAMI & RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATIONS VALLIOOR

We celebrated Krishna Jayanthi and Raksha Bandhan together in our school on 22.08.2019. We   started the program by Lighting the lamp Mrs.Gomathi, proprietor of MAG Gas Agency was the Chief guest of this program. She presided over the function, with her we have our correspondent  Shri.S.K.Subramanian and the Principal Mrs.Maheshwari accompanied with the chief guest on the dais,  following the lighting lamp, prayer song was sung by our school choir group.

We had a beautiful dance from our students predicting the naughtiness of Lord Krishna and we had a conversation about the speciality of the day. One of our faculty Mrs.Suba Maharasi  gave an oratious speech about the Krishna Jayanthi and Raksha Bandhan in tamil. In addition to that another faculty  Mrs. Thangam recited a poem in Hindi.

There were many  Little Krishnas and  Gopikas. A student disguised as Krishna and broke the pot which is called as “Uriyadi” and drank the butter milk. The Chief guest gave an auspicious speech about the function and  the pride of our institution and also she said some safety tips about usage of Gas in  our home.

Some of the  parents spoke their opinion about our school. Prizes were distributed to the students by the Chief guest and at last we concluded the function with Kendra Prayer.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION VALLIOOR - 2019

“This Independence day reminds us the struggle of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for our country “
  Independence day was celebrated in a grand manner on 15th August in our school campus. Around 800 students, 60 parents and 62 teachers were gathered. The Chief Guest “Mr. Dhamodhar Ex-President, Rotary club of vallioor central” hoisted the National flag Mr. Arumugam Tahsildar retired rotary club of vallioor Central, Sir Chellappa, Dr. Selvandran were the special guests.

    Students made the celebration in a grand one by presenting different programmes yoga, karate, hoops, conversation, pyramid and speeches about freedom in Tamil and English were delivered by the students. Inspiring speeches were given by our honorable guests and they awarded prizes to the students who scored more than 95% marks during the last academic year.

    After the celebration, sweets were distributed to students and parents. The celebration came to end with Kendra prayer. Our school Principal Mrs. Maheshwari  and Correspondent “Shri. S.K.Subramanian” arranged the function in a grand one.

VINAYAGA CHATURTHI CELEBRATION VALLIOOR

Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in a grand way in our school. Every year we celebrate the festival by preparing the idol of Lord  Ganesha with the help of our IX Std  students. The Vinayagar chaturthi celebration was celebrated from 03.09.2019  to 07.09.2019. Each students worship Lord Ganesha by offering flowers and Prasadham.  The Festival started with devotional followed by manthras and Arathi ceremony.
The ceremony was ended with great joy, happiness and devotion towards Lord Ganesha. After completing the pooja the prasadham was distributed to the students and the staff. After the celebration the idol of  Lord Ganesha was taken by our students for Immersion. With the blessing of Lord Ganesha the ceremony was conducted very auspiciously.  Our correspondent Sri. S.K. Subramanian and Principal Mrs.N.Maheshwari arranged the function in a grand manner.

Teacher’s Day Celebration Vallioor

“Teachers shape the minds of our children and our future. There are really no words to express gratitude for all they do. Many of them are role models and make a huge difference in the lives of children.”

The Birthday of Dr.Radhakrishnan, the former president of our country is celebrated as Teacher’s Day in order to highlight the speciality and greatness of the teachers and their works. As per gratitude, our school encourages the students  to celebrate Teacher’s Day in a special attachment and attention.Students are motivated and encouraged to act as a teacher with the teacher’s  costume. After preparing the lesson plan, they are allowed to teach lesson in the allotted classes. By celebrating Teacher’s Day students understand the value of teachers and start  to give reverence to the teacher.
Students participated interestingly  in our school and acted as the teachers by teaching and handling the classes. Thus we have been celebrating the teachers day every year meaningfully. Our beloved correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanian and Our beloved principal Mrs.Maheshwari distributed the sweets  to the teacher as a token of love and conveyed their heartiest wishes.
They distributed the prizes to the best performed  student teacher, who disguised as the teacher with this we concluded our teachers day celebration which is an unforgettable day for us.

महान आत्माओं का परिचय उनके कार्य से ही पता चलता है। जगत के हित के लिए किया गया कार्य ही आत्मा का मोक्ष होता है। बल संख्या या अर्थ से नहीं आता है बल्कि बल आत्मा से ही आता है। शक्ति का एकमात्र स्रोत आत्मा है। जीवन का पाठ कंठस्थ करने से नहीं बल्कि जीवन में उसे उतारने से याद होता है। स्वामी विवेकानन्द ने ईसाई व इस्लाम का गहन अध्ययन किया। रिलीजन का अनुसाद धर्म नहीं है। भारत का धर्म आध्यात्मिकता है। भारतीय समाज शासक को आदर्श नहीं मानता बल्कि त्यागियों और तपस्वियों को आदर्श मानता है। भारत के केवल दो राष्टीय आदर्श हैं त्याग और सेवा। विश्वधर्म संसद यह मान चुकी थी कि स्वामी विवेकानन्द के सुनने के बाद भारत में धर्म के प्रचार के लिए ईसाई मिशनरी भेजना मूर्खता है। रविन्द्रनाथ टैगौर भारत को जानने के लिए विवेकानन्द के अध्ययन की बात करते थे। पूरी दुनिया भारत को ज्ञान का केन्द्र मानती है क्योंकि भारत में वो युगपुरूष हुए हैं जो दुनिया से अज्ञान की धूल हटाते हैं। उक्त विचार केरल के राज्यपाल श्री आरिफ मोहम्मद खान ने ‘अध्यात्म प्रेरित सेवा संगठन’ विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी के विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक के 50वें वर्ष में प्रवेश करने के अवसर पर ‘एक भारत विजयी भारत’ संपर्क महाअभियान के दौरान मनाए जाने वाले विश्वबंधुत्व दिवस पर व्यक्त किए। उन्होंने कहा कि सत्य केवल एक ही है कि दूसरों का हित करना ही पुण्य है और दूसरों का अहित करना ही पाप है। यही भारत के धर्म का निचोड़ है। हमारी संस्कृति ने ही हमें बचा कर रखा है। दुनिया के तमाम बड़े लोग यह मानते हैं कि भारत के ज्ञान की आवश्यकता पूरी दुनिया को है। भारत की भूमि ही दुनिया की सबसे पवित्र और मानव जीवन के लिए सबसे अनुकूल भूमि थी इसीलिए आदम को भारत की धरती पर उतारा गया। मोहम्मद साहब मदीने में बैठकर भी भारत से ज्ञान की ठण्डी हवा के झोंके महसूस करते थे।

इस कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ठ अतिथि महापौर श्री धर्मेन्द्र गहलोत ने कहा कि सिद्धांतों को जीवन में उतारने का उदाहरण स्वामी विवेकानन्द का जीवन बताता है। विवेकानन्द ने अपने जीवन में जब कोचवान बनने इच्छा प्रकट की तब उनकी मां ने उनको प्रोत्साहित किया और भगवान कृष्ण के जैसा कोचवान बनने को प्रेरित किया।  कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कर रहे प्रान्त प्रमुख श्री भगवान सिंह ने एक भारत विजयी भारत महासंपर्क अभियान की सार्थकता पर विचार प्रकट किए तथा अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर राष्ट्रवादी विचारवान लोगों का एकत्रीकरण करते हुए भारत को विश्वगुरू की ओर अग्रसर करने का संकल्प व्यक्त किया।

नगर प्रमुख अखिल शर्मा ने बताया कि इस अवसर पर राज्यपाल आरिफ मोहम्मद खान द्वारा विवेकानन्द केन्द्र की उपाध्यक्ष पदम्श्री निवेदिता भिड़े द्वारा लिखित पुस्तक हमारे शाश्वत प्रेरणास्रोत का विमोचन भी किया गया। पुस्तक में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के संस्थापक एकनाथजी द्वारा स्वामी विवेकानन्द के 100 वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर कन्याकुमारी शिला पर स्मारक बनाने की विजयगाथा के रूप में संक्षिप्त वर्णन किया गया है। कार्यक्रम के आयोजन में भारत विकास परिषद् की अजमेर शाखा का सहयोग रहा। कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्री उमेश कुमार चैरसिया ने किया तथा आभार ज्ञापन नगर संचालक डाॅ0 श्याम भूतड़ा ने किया। इस दौरान डाॅ0 स्वतन्त्र शर्मा, प्रांत संगठक प्रांजलि दीदी, प्रान्त संपर्क प्रमुख अशोक जी खण्डेलवाल सहित विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी तथा भारत विकास परिषद् के सभी कार्यकर्ताओं का सहयोग रहा।

जोधपुर, 12 सितम्बर : विवेकानन्द केन्द्र हिन्दी प्रकाशन विभाग की ओर से साहित्य से निर्मित “साहित्य राजा श्रीगणेश” की प्रतिमा का अनंत चतुर्दशी को विसर्जन किया गया। उल्लेखनीय है कि इस साहित्य राजा की प्रतिमा को बनाने के लिए  “कर्मयोग” नामक पुस्तिका के 50 प्रतियों तथा एक केन्द्र भारती मासिक पत्रिका का उपयोग किया गया था। जिस तरह इस प्रतिमा को साहित्य से निर्मित किया गया उसी तरह इसका विसर्जन भी अनोखे ढंग से किया गया। प्रतिमा के उपयोग में लायी गई पुस्तकों को लोगों को वितरित कर इसका विसर्जन किया गया। विसर्जन यानी विशेष ढंग से जिसका सृजन होता है।

ज्ञात हो कि इस साहित्य राजा गणपति की ग्यारह दिनों तक नित्य पूजा-अर्चन होता रहा। इस अवसर पर केन्द्र के कार्यकर्ता साहित्य राजा के दर्शन के लिए आते रहे। 10 सितम्बर को सत्यनारायण की कथा का आयोजन भी किया गया, वहीं 7 सितम्बर को भजन संध्या का कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न हुआ।

रायपुर में विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक के 50 वें वर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित व्याख्यान

 रायपुर। विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी एवं विवेकानंद विद्यापीठ कोटा रायपुर के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में कन्याकुमारी स्थित विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक के 50 वें वर्ष के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित व्याख्यान में आज सन्ध्या डॉक्टर ओम प्रकाश वर्मा ने कहा भारत का प्राण 5000 वर्ष पहले भी धर्म था, आज भी है। भारत एक जीवंत राष्ट्र है।  विश्व की अन्य सभ्यता आई व चली भी गई, कभी यूनान का परचम कभी रूस का परचम लहराया। वे दुनिया में छा भी गए किंतु कम समय के लिए। वर्तमान में उनका अस्तित्व ही समाप्त हो गया । स्वामी विवेकानंद कन्याकुमारी के शिला पर 3 दिन, तीन रात चिंतन किए तथा भारत को दुर्दशा से मुक्ति हेतु चिंतन एवम् योजना लेकर निकले। उनका कार्य आज भी रामकृष्ण मिशन के माध्यम से चल रहा है। पद्मश्री माननीय निवेदिता दीदी राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष – विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी संस्थान ने अपना अनुभव साझा किया, कि एक विजयी भारत बनाने के लिए देश के संपूर्ण नागरिकों को श्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करना होगा । मेरा परिवार ही मेरा है इस सोच से आगे निकलना होगा। मेरा परिवार तो देश है ही, यह समाज भी मेरा है । यह देश भी मेरा है यह सोच लाना होगा । कन्याकुमारी के शिला  पर स्मारक निर्माण बेहद कठिन परिस्थितियों में हुआ था। तमिलनाडु के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री भक्त वत्सलम 
स्मारक निर्माण के सख्त खिलाफ थे, परंतु एकनाथ ने चातुर्य एवं कौशल का प्रयोग करते हुए 3 दिन में ही 323 सांसदों की सहमति पत्र ले आए। तत्पश्चात पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री शास्त्री के माध्यम से नेहरू तक यह बात पहुंची। तब उन्हे लगा कि 323 सांसदों की सहमति अर्थात पूरा देश स्मारक चाहता है। फिर उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री को निर्देश दिया कि स्मारक का कार्य शुरू हो।
अन्ततोगत्वा कन्याकुमारी का शिला स्मारक आपके सामने है। कार्यक्रम के दौरान एक पुस्तक का विमोचन हुआ जिसका नाम शाश्वत प्रेरणा स्त्रोत शिलास्मारक, जिसके माध्यम से सम्पर्क अभियान चलाया जायेगा तथा महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थियों हेतु प्रतियोगिता आयोजित किया जायेगा |  कार्यक्रम मे मात्र छाया के संचालक सुधाकर कोंडापुरकर का सम्मान भी किया गया  कार्यक्रम का संचालन विवेकानंद केंद्र के विभाग प्रमुख एवं प्रोफेसर सुभाष चंद्राकर जी ने किया। कार्यक्रम के समापन में मावजी भाई पटेल द्वारा धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया गया।

स्थानीय कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण शिबिर , पालीताणा - २०१९

विवेकानंद केंद्र, गुजरात प्रान्त द्वारा, प्रान्त सुर्यवंदना कार्यक्रम के अभियान अंतर्गत  स्थानीय कार्यकर्ता प्रशिक्षण शिबिर का आयोजन दिनांक ९ से १४ - ऑगस्ट २०१९  के मध्य हुआ। वर्ग का आयोजन भावनगर विभाग के पालीताणा नगर स्थान में हुआ, जो की अपने आप में अद्वितीय जैन तीर्थ है , जो की शेत्रुंजय एवं हस्तगीरी जैसे पर्वत एवं शेत्रुंजय नदी के सुरम्य एवं पवित्र वातावरण के मध्य स्थित है।  शिबिर का उद्धेश्य ऐसे युवा कार्यकर्ताओ को प्रशिक्षित करना था जो अपने स्थान में केंद्र वर्ग के सञ्चालन में वर्ग शिक्षक, गट प्रमुख के रूप में अपनी सक्रिय भूमिका निभाएंगे।  शिबिर सूत्र  “बने हम राष्ट्र के योगी” था, एवं पांचो दिवस के दिन विशेष क्रमशः  नियमितता, सकारात्मकता,  निर्भयता, आत्मीयता एवं कटिबद्धता रखे गए थे।
अखण्ड भारत के स्वप्न द्रष्टाओ के नमो से मंडल एवं गणो की रचना की गई। इन गणों का सञ्चालन गणप्रमुख एवं सह गणप्रमुखो की चमु  ने किया। साथ में मंडल प्रमुख भी गणों के प्रशिक्षण का सतत निरिक्षण कर रहे थे।
शिबिर का उद्घाटन प्रान्त सहसंचालक माननीय डॉ. कमलेशभाई उपाध्याय ने " स्वामी विवेकानंद - राष्ट्रभक्त सन्यासी " विषय से एवं स्थान महात्म्य बताते हुए किया। बौद्धिक विभाग के नियोजन में “एक जीवन एक ध्येय ”, “कार्यपद्धति", "हमारे उत्सव ", "कार्यकर्ता गुण ओर विकास", "अनुशासन”, "चुनौतियां एवं प्रतिसाद", "केंद्र प्रार्थना" एवं “विवेकानंद केंद्र एक सकारात्मक प्रतिसाद” विषयों पर सत्र, “ नाट्य प्रस्तुति ”, “पर्सनालिटी के प्रवाह में कही खो न जाये व्यक्तिव”, "स्वदेशी बनाम विदेशी व आधुनिकता बनाम सांस्कृतिक" विषयों पर स्वाध्याय, गीत मंत्र अभ्यास सत्र, “बैठक, चमु निर्माण एवं संपर्क” विषयों पर नैपुण्य सत्रों, भजन संध्या व नित्य आशीर्वचन सत्रों का आयोजन किया गया। प्रेरणा से पुनरुत्थान सत्र में "माननीय एकनाथजी चलचित्र",  “भारत माता पूजन” एवं “ “ कथा शिला स्मारक” की कहानी विशेष प्रेरणास्पद रही।
शारीरिक विभाग द्वारा सूर्यनमस्कार के गहन प्रशिक्षण हेतु प्रातः केन्द्रवर्ग, श्रम संस्कार एवं सायं आग्याभ्यास, संस्कार वर्ग का आयोजन किया गया। अंतिम दिवस सभी कार्यकर्ताओ ने 108 सूर्यनमस्कार उत्साह से किये।
आहुति सत्र गुजरात प्रान्त संगठक आदरणीय शीतलबेन जोशी द्वारा लिया गया एवं शिबिर में पूर्ण समय आपकी गरिमामय उपस्थिति। शिबिर में शिबिराधिकारी आदरणीय श्रीमती मंजुबेन गौर की प्रेरक उपस्थिति भी पूर्ण समय रही।  साथ ही गुजरात प्रान्तप्रमुख आदरणीय नरेन्द्रभाई त्रिवेदी, प्रान्त व्यवस्था प्रमुख आदरणीय दिव्येशभाई मेहता, प्रान्त साहित्य सेवा प्रमुख आदरणीय श्री महिपतभाई खुमाण की उत्साहवर्धक उपस्थिति रही।
वर्ग में प्रान्त के १९ स्थानो से ६२ सहभागी एवं ६२ सञ्चालन चमु कुल १२४ कार्यकर्ता रहे। इस प्रकार एक २ प्रांतीय अधिकारी, सञ्चालन चमू एवं सहभागियों के साथ वर्ग की पूर्ण समय उपस्थिति १२६ रही।
शिबिर में एक नित्य सायं आशीर्वचन सत्र का अभिनव आयोजन किया गया, जिसमे आध्यात्म क्षेत्र के ४ सेवाभावी सन्यासिओ  का  आशीर्वचन प्राप्त हुआ।
द्वितीय दिवस सहभागी हस्तगिरि पर्वत पर ट्रेकिंग करते हुए मंदिर के दर्शन हेतु गए जहा सूर्यनमस्कार एवं सत्र का  भी   आयोजन हुआ।
रिक्त समय में सहभागी सूर्यनमस्कार मंत्रो एवं स्थितियों की पूर्णता, गण गीत आदि का अभ्यास अपने गण में करते थे ।
शिबिरार्थीओ एवं सञ्चालन चमु की उपस्थिति सामान होने के कारण शिबिर का वातावरण उत्साह पूर्ण रहा।                 
शिबिर दर्शन हेतु आने वाले  शुभचिंतक, शिबिर के अनुशासित एवं उत्साह पूर्ण वातावरण से प्रभावित हुए। सत्र हेतु  एवं शिबिर दर्शन हेतु  कुल ६९ कार्यकर्ता एवं शुभचिंतक आये।

बिलासपुर में एक भारत विजयी भारत विमर्श

विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा बिलासपुर द्वारा 12 अगस्त 2019 को एक भारत विजयी भारत विषय में विमर्श का आयोजन किया गया l कार्यक्रम की मुख्य वक्ता विवेकानंद केंद्र की राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष सुश्री निवेदिता रघुनाथ भिड़े (पद्मश्री से सम्मानित)  रही, वे अमेरिका, ऑस्ट्रेलिया आदि स्थानों में अपना वक्तव्य दे चुकी है एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एशिया का प्रतिनिधित्व की किया है उत्तर पूर्वांचल क्षेत्र में आपने जनजातियों के विकास उत्थान एवं सामंजस्य हेतु विशिष्ट कार्य किए हैं । कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विवेकानंद केंद्र के नगर संचालक अधिवक्ता प्रतीक शर्मा तथा विशिष्ट अतिथि तखतपुर विधायक श्रीमती रश्मि आशीष सिंह रही l तीन ओमकार एवं सहनाववतु प्रार्थना से कार्यक्रम का प्रारंभ हुआ.  अभ्यागतों का स्वागत स्मृति चिन्ह एवं पौधों से किया गया। विभाग संपर्क प्रमुख डॉ उल्हास वारे ने इस अवसर पर सभी मोचित पुस्तिका एक भारत विजयी भारत विषय से संबंधित सिलाई स्मारक सास्वत प्रेरणा स्त्रोत्र नामक पुस्तिका के विषय में संक्षिप्त जानकारी दी जो हमारी मुख्य वक्ता के द्वारा संकलित है एवं श्री वारे में अतिथियों का परिचय भी दिया।
नगर प्रमुख डॉ संजय आयदे ने  विवेकानंद केंद्र का परिचय बताते हुए बिलासपुर शाखा के कार्य पद्धतियों को प्रोजेक्टर के माध्यम से  बताया जिसमें प्रमुख रुप से संस्कार वर्ग योग वर्ग स्वाध्याय वर्ग तथा केंद्र वर्ग का भी उल्लेख किया गया एवं वर्तमान में विवेकानंद की 1000 से अधिक शाखाएं एवं प्रकल्प देश में सेवा कार्य कर रही है । एकल गीत श्रीमती सरिता दीदी ने सुमधुर आवाज से श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया तथा  कार्यपद्धती प्रमुख विवेक पांडे द्वारा विवेक वाणी की प्रस्तुति के बाद मुख्य वक्ता का उद्बोधन एवं
मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ शिला स्मारक के 50 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष में आगामी सितंबर माह से 31 अगस्त 2020 तक महा संपर्क अभियान के दौरान लोक संपर्क लोक संग्रह लोक संस्कार और लोक व्यवस्था को मूर्त रूप प्रदान करने हेतु विस्तार से बताया जिसका उद्घाटन आगामी 1 सितंबर 2019 को माननीय राष्ट्रपति जी द्वारा होना है सिलाई स्मारक के निर्माण में आई बाधाओं में सिलाई स्मारक समिति से तत्कालीन सचिव श्री एकनाथ जी रानाडे की कुशलता एवं एक निष्ठा से संबंधित विभिन्न उदाहरणों से श्रोता अवगत हो सके । आरंभिक बाधाओं को 3 दिन में 323 सांसदों के हस्ताक्षर करा कर एक राष्ट्रीय स्मारक घोषित हुआ तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति श्री वी वी गिरी एवं प्रधानमंत्री श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी ने स्मारक की पूर्णता उपरांत उद्घाटन सितंबर 1970 में किया । उद्घाटन सत्र की प्रक्रिया आगामी 2 माह तक चलती रही । स्मारक निर्माण हेतु सिर्फ कुछ लोगों से धनराशि ना लेते हुए पूरे भारत से एक एवं दो रुपए स्वेच्छा से दिया गया l जनमानस को जोड़ते हुए जीवंत स्मारक का निर्माण को पत्थर में प्रकटे प्राण से भी संबोधित किया जाता है । विशिष्ट अतिथि
श्रीमती रश्मि आशीष सिंह ने अपने मधुर स्मृतियों को सुनाते हुए मुख्य वक्ता द्वारा बताए गए मार्गग को अपनेेेे जीवन में उतारने का प्रयास करूंगी कहा । इस कार्यक्रम मेंं उन्होंने एक अलग अनुभूति को स्पर्श किया ।

Medical Help in Flood Affected Areas by Vivekananda Kendra

In the second week of July 2019, devastating flood severely affected many districts of Assam. Millions of people were evacuated to safer places. Their houses, belonging and paddy fields were either completely washed away or got damaged. Even some villages of Namsai district of Arunachal Pradesh were also affected. At this hour of humanitarian crisis, the Swasthya Seva Manch of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti planned to help some of the affected people by conducting Medical Camps for the flood affected areas. We have identified three remote locations, where there were certain needs. These three places are remote Amarpur area of Sadiya subdivision of Assam, Laika island of Tinsukia district and riverside villages of Mahadevpur circle of Namsai district. 

To get medicines to conduct the camps, we appealed Dr. Mahesh Singhvi of Mumbai. Their organization, Hari Om Group always helps the people suffering from natural calamities and they helped us in previous occasions also. He immediately responded and helped us to procure medicines within two days.

It was really difficult to send medical team along with medicines to remote places like Amarpur and Laika as the only mode of communication is country boats and due to heavy rains and current those were not in service. So, we approached Takam Mising Porin Kebang, an apex  Mising Students body for logistic support. They responded immediately and their President of Tinsukia district Sri Beni Doley personally took the responsibility. With the help of TMPK members, local Health workers and ASHA volunteers, the medical camp was conducted on 22nd July. 256 patients were examined and medicines were distributed accordingly.

The Vistar Pramukh of Anadalaya of Sadiya area, Sri Binod Das was contacted and he took the responsibility for Amarpur area. Basic medicines like ORS, ointments, paracetamol etc. were sent to him. He along with the Anandalaya Acaryas, Health Asssitants ,Mising Mahila Samiti Members and ASHA volunteers are still camping in those remote areas. This is to be mentioned that Amarpur is a vast area with a population of nearly 12,000.

Our Mobile Medical Team conducted three medical camps in Mahadevpur area on 23rd and 24th July at Kakoni, Nongkhong and Dirak Miri villages. All these villages were affected by recent floods. For these camps, we collaborated with All Lekang Area Youth Association. 207 patients were treated during these camps.

We requested all the local organizations who collaborated with us during the camps to keep an eye on the health scenario of the villages, so that we can if needed we can do the follow up properly.

Free Speech and Language Therapy Camp

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari organized one Free Speech and Language Therapy Camp at Vivekananda Kendra Medical Center, Laipuli, Tinsukia, Assam from 1st to 20th June 2019. Chaitrali Hemant Pavnaskar, a speech and language therapist from Pune rendered her valuable service during the camp. 20 children with speech and language difficulties attended the camp. She did the diagnosis and provided appropriate therapeutic interventions. She did counseling for the parents and taught them how to communicate with their child. 5 children with Cochlear Implants also attended the camp. This is to be mentioned that all these Cochlear Implants were done through Vivekananda Kendra in collaboration with Max Hospital, Delhi last year.

Along with the camp, we organized one workshop also for the speech and language trainers of Snehalaya, a local NGO of Tinsukia. The duration of the workshop was for 15 days. As speech and language therapy needs long term follow up, the team Snehalaya will do it.
The camp was very successful and we got all support from local ENT Doctors and other professionals, working on this field.
 

गुरुपूर्णिमा कॆ उपलक्ष मॆं डीएवी कॉलेज चंडीगढ़ में कार्यशाला

स्वामी विवेकानंद केंद्र ने 13 जुलाई, 2019 को चंडीगढ़ के सेक्टर 10 स्थित डीएवी कॉलेज में "शिक्षक से गुरु तक की यात्रा" पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया।  इस कार्यशाला में प्रख्यात शिक्षाविदों और शिक्षकों ने भाग लिया। चंडीगढ,पंचकुला और मोहाली के विभिन्न स्कूलों,कॉलेजों के 61प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। कार्यशाला के दौरान चंडीगढ,पंचकुला और मोहाली  प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद् मौजूद थे।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलन से हुई. तदोपरांत शिवम् जी द्वारा मंगलाचरण प्रस्तुत किया गया।  नवीन कौशिक जी ने सभी अतिथियों और प्रतिभागियों का स्वागत किया और कार्यशाला की कार्यवाही शुरू की।  कार्यशाला के पहले सत्र में प्रोफ.के एस आर्या ने एक शिक्षक और एक गुरु के बीच के अंतर को खूबसूरती से समझाया। शिक्षक और गुरु के बीच में अंतर समझते हुए आर्या जी ने सभी श्रोताओं को तीन बिंदुओं पर  विशेष ध्यान कराया। 

१. तन पूर्ति
२. मन पूर्ति एवं
३. आत्मा पूर्ति

उन्होंने बताया की तन पूर्ति से सुख मिलता है, मन पूर्ति से शांति मिलती है और आत्मा पूर्ति से आनंद मिलता है।  एक शिक्षक सिर्फ सुख दे सकता है, परन्तु एक गुरु, सुख के साथ साथ शांति और आनंद का आभास भी देता है। यानि की एक गुरु तन, मन और आत्मा की भी तृप्ति करता है। तदुपरांत प्रोफ. सहजपाल जी ने भी उक्त विषय का उद्देश्य बताया और अपने विचार प्रकट किये जिसके साथ ही प्रथम सत्र का समापन हुआ। 

दूसरे सत्र में सभी प्रतिभागियों को तीन समूहों में विभाजित किया गया। प्रत्येक समूह को इस बात पर चर्चा करने की सलाह दी गई थी कि एक शिक्षक से एक गुरु बनाने में योगदान कैसे दिया जा सकता है। सभी प्रतिभागियों ने सक्रिय रूप से चर्चा में भाग लिया और अपने विचार दिए। प्रत्येक समूह को एक समूह नेता चुना गया जो समूह की संक्षिप्त चर्चा को सभी प्रतिभागियों के सामने प्रस्तुत कर सके।

चर्चा सत्र समाप्त होने के बाद, समूह के नेताओं को चर्चा का सारांश प्रस्तुत करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया था। उनके द्वारा प्रस्तुत कुछ बिंदु निम्नलिखित थे:
    1. लगभग सभी शिक्षकों ने बिगड़ते सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों पर जोर दिया।
    2. लगभग सभी शिक्षकों ने बिगड़ते सांस्कृतिक और नैतिक मूल्यों पर जोर दिया। यह सुझाव दिया गया था कि प्रत्येक स्कूल में एक निश्चित प्रार्थना समय, योग समय, ध्यान का समय होना चाहिए।
    3. शिक्षकों ने छात्रों के बीच व्यवहार में सुधार लाने पर भी जोर दिया। यह सुझाव दिया गया था कि एक शिक्षक को एक रोल मॉडल के रूप में कार्य करना चाहिए। एक छात्र हमेशा अपने शिक्षक की नकल करता है, खासकर प्राथमिक स्तर पर।
    4. कुछ शिक्षकों ने यह भी बताया कि शिक्षा विशुद्ध रूप से नौकरी उन्मुख नहीं होनी चाहिए। शिक्षा का उद्देश्य मानव निर्माण होना चाहिए न कि मशीन निर्माण । उन्होंने शिक्षा प्रणाली और नौकरी की आवश्यकताओं के बीच अंतर को पाटने के लिए भी इशारा किया।

सभी प्रतिभागियों के विचार प्रकट कर लेने पर श्री पियूष पुंज जी, प्रोफ. नंदिता सिंह ने पूरी चर्चा का समापन किया। चर्चा समापन के बाद श्री भानुदास जी, (अखिल भारतीय महासचिव, विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी) ने समापन मार्गदर्शन प्रस्तुत किया।  समापन मार्गदर्शन में उन्होंने भी कार्यशाल के उद्देश्य पर काफी रौशनी डाली।  दूसरे सत्र की समापन के पश्चात् तीसरे सत्र में अलका गौरी जी ने सुक्ष्म व्यायाम एवं ओमकार ध्यान कराया। ओमकार ध्यान के पश्चात् कर्नल कौशल जी कृतज्ञता ज्ञापन प्रस्तुत किया और सभी का धन्यवाद किया।

अजमेर विभाग में गुरूपूर्णिमा के कुल तीन कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन हुआ जिनमें 192 की उपस्थिति रही। अजमेर शाखा का गुरु पूर्णिमा उत्सव माहेश्वरी सेवा समिति भवन कृष्णगंज अजमेर में 16 जुलाई को आयोजित किया गया। इस उत्सव में प्रांत विभाग नगर एवं विस्तार के कुल 43 कार्यकर्ताओं ने सहभागिता की। कार्यक्रम में भजन संध्या के आयोजन के पश्चात् माननीय निवेदिता दीदी का पत्र वाचन संपर्क प्रमुख सविता शर्मा ने किया। प्रान्त संचालक डाॅ0 बद्री प्रसाद जी पंचोली का मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ। इस अवसर पर नगर के गुरूपूर्णिमा प्रतिवेदन का विमोचन भी किया गया। विवेकानंद केंद्र प्रकाशन समिति के सदस्य श्री उमेश जी चैरसिया ने दायित्व बोध विषय पर मार्गदर्शन किया। कार्यक्रम का समापन दायित्व ग्रहण के साथ ऊँकार के समक्ष पुष्पांजलि के साथ संपूर्ण हुआ। इसी दिन ब्यावर नगर में बी एल गोठी पब्लिक उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय में गुरुअभिनंदन के रूप में गुरूपूर्णिमा उत्सव प्रातः 11.30 बजे मनाया गया। मुख्य वक्ता डाॅ. अनिरुद्ध शर्मा का मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ तथा प्राचार्य डाॅ. अनिल कुमार शर्मा ने अपने विचार व्यक्त किए। कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय के 18 शिक्षकों का सम्मान उनके विद्यार्थियों के द्वारा  किया जाकर केन्द्र प्रकाशन की पुस्तकें, केन्द्र भारती मासिक पत्रिका तथा श्रीफल प्रदान किया। इस अवसर पर ब्यावर नगर के गणमान्य नागरिकों के अतिरिक्त प्रान्त संपर्क प्रमुख अशोक खण्डेलवाल, प्रान्त व्यवस्था प्रमुख कैलाश नाथ शर्मा, ओमदत्त जोशी, विक्रम सिंह  राठौड़, घनश्याम तंवर उपस्थित रहे। मंच संचालन नगर व्यवस्था प्रमुख प्रशान्त पाबूवाल तथा केन्द्र परिचय नगर प्रमुख यादवराज कुमावत ने दिया। गीत करण छीपा ने लिया। अंत में ब्यावर नगर के संचालक गंगाबिशन सोनी ने आभार ज्ञापन किया। कार्यक्रम में कुल 140 उपस्थित रहे। एक अन्य आयोजन ब्यावर नगर में 21 जुलाई को रीको प्प् के केन्द्र कार्यालय पर गुरुपूर्णिमा का दायित्वबोध  कार्यक्रम सायं 6.00 बजे आयोजित हुआ। करण भैया ने गुरु स्त्रोत ओर भजन लिया। इसके पश्च्यात कैलाश नाथ जी का ‘गुरु पूर्णिमा महत्व’ पर संक्षिप्त उदबोधन हुआ। नगर प्रमुख यादवराज कुमावत द्वारा आदरणीय निवेदिता दीदी का कन्याकुमारी से आये पत्र का वाचन किया गया। तत्पश्चात सभी दायित्ववान कार्यकर्ताओं ने अपने दायित्व बोध के साथ ॐ के चित्र पर पुष्प अर्पित किये। कार्यक्रम में कुल उपस्तिथि 37 रही। अजमेर विभाग का एक अन्य कार्यक्रम किशनगढ़ नियोजित नगर द्वारा विवेकानंद आश्रम गुंदलाव झील के किनारे मनाया गया जिसमें सभी दायित्ववान कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम में गुरु भजन, गुरु स्तोत्र एवं निर्वाणाष्टक पठन और निवेदिता दीदी द्वारा गुरु पूर्णिमा का पत्र वाचन किया गया और केंद्र प्रार्थना के साथ कार्यक्रम संपूर्ण हुआ। उपस्थिति 9 रही।

विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा जयपुर की ओर से 16 जुलाई 2019 को गुरु पूर्णिमा उत्सव मनाया गया। स्तवन, गुरु भजन के पश्चात प्रांत संगठक प्रांजली दीदी ने ‘ओम’ के महत्व के विषय पर व विवेकानंद केंद्र में ओमकार रूपी गुरू के महत्व पर सभी का मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया। इसके पश्चात केंद्र के वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन का विमोचन किया गया। इसके पश्चात दायित्वान कार्यकर्ता ने पुष्प अर्पण करके दायित्व को सुचारू रूप से करने का संकल्प लिया। शांति मंत्र एवं केंद्र प्रार्थना के साथ कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ। इस कार्यक्रम में विभाग संचालक श्री सीताराम सेठी, नगर संचालक श्रीमती डॉ शीला राय, श्री ओमप्रकाश गुप्ता, श्री महेश मोदी, श्री अविनाश पारीक एवं श्री शैलेंद्र भाटिया जी का सानिध्य प्राप्त हुआ कार्यक्रम में कुल उपस्थिति 63 रही।

विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा - भीलवाड़ा द्वारा गुरु पूर्णिमा महोत्सव स्थानीय आनंदधाम हवेली में मनाया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में केंद्र द्वारा विभिन्न सामाजिक क्षेत्रों में निस्वार्थ कार्य कर रहे लोगों को सम्मानित किया गया । केंद्र के प्रांत प्रमुख भगवान सिंह ने बताया कि केंद्र गुरु पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर ऐसे व्यक्तित्व को समाज में आदर्श के रूप में प्रस्तुत करना चाहता है जिनसे अधिक से अधिक लोगों को प्रेरणा मिल सके। चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में डॉक्टर देवेंद्र रामावत, जो निःशुल्क उपचार करते हैं, ग्रामीण शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अशोक श्रोत्रिय, शहरी शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट कार्य के लिए राजेंद्र मार्ग विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य महावीर शर्मा, धर्म जागरण के क्षेत्र में राजेंद्र - सुमनलता बाहेती, पर्यावरण व वृक्षारोपण के क्षेत्र में प्रकाश छाबड़ा व सुमंगल सेवा संस्थान के अमित काबरा एवं  खेल के क्षेत्र में राजेश नैनावटी, संस्कार निर्माण में आगूचा के सांवरमल बैरवा, ग्राम विकास के क्षेत्र में लाछुड़ा की सरपंच सुमनलता मेवाड़ा, कला के माध्यम से जागरूकता लाने के लिए के. जी. कदम, ग्रामीण महिला विकास के क्षेत्र में कारोई की नाथी देवी कुमावत, कृषि संयंत्र निर्माण में अजय पाल सिंह राठौड़, गौ सेवा के लिए अशोक कोठारी को सम्मानित किया गया। विवेकानंद केंद्र का परिचय विभाग संचालक डॉ अर्जुुुुन वैष्णव द्वारा दिया गया। भीलवाड़ा विभाग में गुरु पूर्णिमा पर्व विवेकानंद केंद्र गुलाबपुरा ने दो जगह मनाया। परसरामपुरा के आयोजन में 40 एवं आगूचा में कुल 50 बच्चों सहभागिता रही। भीलवाड़ा विभाग में कुल 3 आयोजन किए गए।

जोधपुर विभाग में विवेकानंद केंद्र जोधपुर गीता भवन कार्यालय में प्रांत, विभाग और नगर के दायित्ववान कार्यकर्ताओं, योग सत्र के सहभागी और अन्य कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ गुरु पूर्णिमा उत्सव संपन्न हुआ। भजन संध्या, गुरु स्त्रोतम, माननीय निवेदिता दीदी का पत्र वाचन, चर्चा हुई। केंद्र प्रार्थना के साथ समापन हुआ। कार्यक्रम में कुल 23 की उपस्थिति रही।
