Republic Day At VKV Kanyakumari



 On the auspicious morning of 26th Jan 2022, we celebrated Republic day in our school premises with great splendour and grandeur to commemorate the enforcement of the Indian constitution on 26th Jan 1950. The event started sharply at 8.30 a.m. with Vandematharam. Mann.Hanmantaraoji, Vice president of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra presided over the function and unfurled the tricolour flag followed by the National Anthem. The pledge was taken by all the participants. The welcome address was delivered by our teacher Smt.E.Sumathi. Some of our teachers brought out their patriotic fervour & delighted everyone by a Bharathiyar song. Our teacher Smt.Jaya Lakshmi delivered a speech on the importance of the day. In her speech, she pointed out the development of Mother Bharath in various fields and also highlighted the Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu, Sri. R.N.Ravi’s oration about “what could be Bharath in 2047 by the time India completed 100 years of celebration”.  Mann. Hanumantaraoji emphasized that the pride of our National flag lies in the hands of the soldiers who have sacrificed their noble lives for the nation and are still at the frontiers safeguarding from foreign invasions. He insisted us to respect the army men whom we meet in our daily lives. He also put forth his wish that the students should be motivated in such a way that they serve the nation by being an army man and bring pride to our school. Our teacher Shri. R.Sundarakumar proposed the vote of thanks. Finally the celebration came to an end with Kendra Prarthana and the distribution of sweets to all 240 participants.

   73 rd Republic Day was celebrated on 26.1.2022 Wednesday.
   Chief Guest, Smt Veena Srihari -  from Bengaluru,  Vivekananda Kendra Karya Paddati Pramukh, Karnataka Vibhag, unfurled the National Flag and received the Guard of honor. Cultural events like Drama, Patriotic songs, fancy dress representing - Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, etc, were colorful and patriotic activities. A girl from class VI was honored with a certificate and medal for her excellence in sports in the academic year 2021-22. Smt. Veena didi expressed patriotic feelings by quoting the great sacrifice of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose,  Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aravindo, etc for the motherland, and also motivated Karyakarthas by saying,  Give little time to serve people in the society. Ma. Lalita didi- Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya -Kallubalu, Prakalpa Sanghatak, and Sri Mohan Lal Ji, Staniya karyakarta were present on this auspicious occasion.               Gita Jayanthi is an event centered around the Bhagavat Gita, celebrated in the Shukla Ekadashi, the 11th day of the waxing moon of the Margashirsha month. It was on this day that Lord Krishna conveyed the message of Gita to Arjuna in the battle field of Kurushetra. 

            Gita Jayanthi celebration was organised in our school on 14th December 2021. It was initiated at 10 a.m. with 3 om’karas and ShanthiManthra. The students along with the teachers offered their humble pranams to Lord Krishna by chanting the slokas from ‘The Bhagavat Gita’. The primary class students chanted the slokas from “Gita for daily life” and the rest of the students chanted the slokas from the 11th chapter of “The Bhagavat Gita”. The celebration was concluded with ‘Shanti Mantra’.

 25 नवंबर 2021, बृहस्पतिवार को विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी, हल्द्वानी शाखा  ने "परीक्षा दे हँसते-हँसते" कार्यशाला का आयोजन हरगोविंद सुयाल सरस्वती विद्या मंदिर इंटर कॉलेज,कुसुमखेड़ा, हल्द्वानी में आयोजित किया। इस कार्यक्रम में कक्षा दसवीं के 90 छात्रों ने भाग लिया। इस कार्यशाला में बच्चों को  परीक्षाओं को कैसे एक बोझ ना समझ कर  हँसते-हँसते   सामना कर सकते है यह विधि बताई।
विवेकानंद केंद्र के कार्यकर्ताओ ने  सभी छात्रों को परीक्षा क्यों और कैसे दें आदि जानकारियां दी।
उन्होंने बताया अगर हम एक ही विचार को पूर्ण रूप से अपना ले और बाकी सभी विचारों को छोड़ दें, सिर्फ उसी विचार को अपना जीवन बना लें, उसके बारे में सोचें उसके सपने देखें, उस विचार को जीएं। यही सफल होने का तरीका है।

सभी बच्चों को अनेक प्रकार के खेल खिलाएं गए जिसमे उनकी चपलता,सामूहिकता, एकाग्रता, निर्णय लेने की क्षमता  जैसे आदि गुणों का महत्व पता चला। फिर इन सभी खेलों के बाद उन्होंने बताया की किस तरह से शारीरिक,मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक रूप से अपने आप को हर कठिन परिस्थितियों में संतुलित रखना है।

इस कार्यक्रम में सभी बच्चों ने बड़े ही मनोहर ढंग से स्किट प्रस्तुति किया और बढ़ चढ़कर खेलों में भाग लिया।

आज के समय में बच्चों के अंदर पढ़ाई को लेकर काफी तनाव रहता है। जिससे बच्चों के शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पर बहुत गहरा असर पड़ता है। ऐसे में इस तरह के कार्यशालाओं के आयोजन की आज अत्यंत आवश्यकता है।क्योंकि आज की शिक्षा व्यवस्था से बच्चों को इस प्रकार की प्रशिक्षण नहीं मिल पा रहे हैं।

SadhanaDiwas was celebrated in our school on 19.11.2021 at 2.45 p.m. to pay our homage and gratitude to Mann. EknathjiRanade, the man with Capital ‘M’ who lived up to the ideal ‘One life, One Mission’. He has a special place in the little hearts of the people as a man of humanity, founder of Vivekananda Kendra and his remarkable task ‘The construction of Vivekananda Rock Memorial’.

            The programme was initiated with an invocation by IX Std girls. The welcome address was delivered by M.S.AnushKumari of XI std. G.JanyNishmitha of XI std gave a short glimpse on the importance of the day. IX std girls sang a melodious song praising the master of the day,Man.EknathRanade. Mann. HanumanthaRaoji, the Vice President of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra,presided the function that day. In his oration, he highlighted the holistic mission of Man. EknathRanade by overcoming all the obstacles that hindered its progress. He said that the Real Education is not related to marks but teach one to serve the society and spread the fragrance of love among the human beings and all living creatures around. He advised the students to have a goal in life and lead a purposeful life like Swami Vivekananda and Mann. EknathRanade in serving the humanity. On account of the children’s day celebration, elocution and music competitions were conducted to bring out the innate talent of our students. G.JanyNishmitha of XI Std who won the first prize in the music competition entertained the participants by her melodious song and N.P.Eshana of X Std presented her prize winning speech. The prizes were distributed to the winners by Mann. HanumanthaRaoji. Vote of thanks was proposed by T.LakshmiSandhiya of X Std. Finally, the day came to a fine end by Kendra Prarthana. 

Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration at VKV Kallublau



 Today Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya kallubalu celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava Day. Shri. Nagraj founder Smt M K Jayamma and Shri BSR Shastri Trust Shri. Dr.Yogi Devraj Founder of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Research and Samagra Arogya Samiti, and Shri Ravi P S President Rotary Bengaluru Global Yoga was the respected chief guest. The program began with Flag hosting and national anthem followed by Karnataka state song. Cultural programs were conducted to celebrate this important day. It included dances, mono-act, and drama, school teachers did the singing for the dances. Recording systems and technology were used to the minimum possible extent. An attempt was made to produce pure art.


The respected chief guest appreciated the program and performances of the students.Shri. B R Nagaraj and  Dr. Shri Yogi Devraj spoke about the importance of the day and encouraged the students to be good citizens. They watched the Mallakamba presentation after the certificate distribution.

              “ Gokulashtami” celebrates the birth of Shri Krishna, the nineth avatar of Vishnu and “Rakshabandhan” glorifies the chaste bond between a brother and a sister.

             On the very fine day of 31-08-2021, we celebrated the twin festivals Gokulashtami and Rakshabandhan in our school sharply at 3 pm presided over by Mann. Hanumanta Raoji, Vice President of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra. The master of ceremony was presented by Smt. Nalammal, Teacher. Smt. Saranya Teacher initiated the celebration with an invocation. Smt. Jeya Teacher delivered a speech on the importance of the day in which she highlighted Krishna’s life in the Brindhavan, importance of celebrating Gokulashtami and Rakshabandhan and the lesson we learn from Krishna’s life. All the teachers sang hymn in praise of Lord Krishna to invoke his divine blessings. Some of our teachers gave vivid explanation on the avatars of Lord Vishnu. Mann. Hanumanta Raoji, gave a clear cut explanation of dharma and adharma. He focussed on the importance of selfless action in his oration and quoted Swami Vivekananda who said that Dharma is doing something for a noble cause without selfishness. He pointed out “ The Bhagavat Gita” that reveals Krishna as a great teacher. He suggested each and every teacher to be Shri Krishna himself. He instructed us to inculcate goodness within us like Shri Krishna and guide the students to lead the way of dharma. As a part of Rakshabandhan celebration, Smt.Nalarani , Librarian tied the holy thread to Mann.Hanumanta Raoji and the Principal Shri. S.Abraham Lingom. Finally the celebration came to an end by Shanthi Manthra.

 Raksha Bandhana was celebrated in VKV kallubalu on 23.08.2021. a teacher spoke on the importance of the day. Students tied Rakies to each other. Song, Bhajan on Sri Krishna Total attended 148.

Teacher - Parents meeting VKV Kallubalu

On 10th & 11th of June Parents' Meetings were conducted at VKV Kallubalu to survey on school reopening for 2020-21 followed by Vidyalaya Managing Committee Meeting on 10.06.2020 wherein the members interacted with parents. The opinion is forwarded to the education department. The winners of World Environment Day - online competitions received the prizes. Parents were briefed about the life style to develop immunity power  like yogabhyas, organic food habits, organic sanitizer, etc. these meetings were attended by a total of 100 people. It was expressive and educative experience for all.

Vivekananda Kendra Mysore organized talk on Dharana and Dhyana on 7th June 2020.  Resource person was Sri. Krishna Kumar ji. With the care of physical distance attendance 32 person.

VKV Kallubalu Corona Relief Work

200 Ration kits were distributed to the needy families out of 1500 sponsored by Azim Premji foundation through Smt. Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishna, Founder: Sahasra Deepika International.

The Food was served to 2500 people daily from Community Kitchen to 24 places in and around VKV KALLUBALU.
29,30 April and 1 May 2020. 100 Ration kits were distributed to differently abled people and aged single member families in 6 villages sponsored by Azim Premji foundation through Smt. Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishna, Founder: Sahasra Deepika International for Education.
Another 100 Ration kits were given to the needy sponsored by Arrow Mineral and Water.
The Food was served to 2400 people daily from Community Kitchen to 24 places in and around VKV KALLUBALU.

2,3 May 2020. 50 Ration kits were distributed to needy and brick factory labourers' families sponsored by Azim Premji foundation through Smt. Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishna, Founder: Sahasra Deepika International for Education.
The Food was served to 2500 people daily from Community Kitchen to 24 places in and around VKV KALLUBALU.

4,5 May 2020. 120 Ration kits were distributed to needy families in Gollahalli  village sponsored by Azim Premji foundation through Smt. Vijayalakshmi Ramakrishna,
The Food was served to 1500 people daily from Community Kitchen to 24 places in and around VKV KALLUBALU.
10 purohits and 8 others are helped with rice and groceries and cash Rs200/ totalling Rs1200/ per family by Vivekananda Kendra at bank colonies.
36th day food was served at autonagar to 200 poor by vk ,Gbrm trust,asayavaradhi 6 families were assisted with rice and groceries worth Rs655/ per family today 5th May, at saidabad anganvadi.

Vidyarambam Celebration at VKV Vallioor

“May Goddess saraswathi fills our life with eternal light of Knowledge.”
In our school we celebrated Vijayadasami & Vidhyarambam in a grand manner on 08.10.2019. The ceremony commenced with prayer song by our teacher Mrs.N.Lalitha  Parameshwari. Next lightning the lamp by our parents. Next our teacher Mrs. S.Esakkiammal @ Devi proposed the welcome address and delivered a speech on Vidyarambam
Regarding the Vidyarambam  celebration we have arranged Kolu in a grand manner with the support and team work of our teachers and students. On this auspicious day we have conducted pooja by chanting mantras and all of us participated in the pooja. Next  our honourable chief guest Shri.Ayappanji  delivered an eloquent speech on Swamiji and also about the importance of Vidyarambam celebration. Next our correspondent Shri.S.K.Subramanian  and our Principal Mrs.Maheshwari continued the Vidyarambam with great inspiration. our Chief guest Shri.Ayappanji wrote the great matra “Ohm” in the turmeric rice to our new kids. nearly 20 parents with their children participated in the function and graced the function. The celebration came to an end with Kendra Prayer.

Acharya Prashikshan Shibir, an annual program organised by Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari every year to update the learning and teaching skills of the teachers of VKVs. Further inculcate the value systems and make them aware about the Bharatiya Sanskriti and Kendra activities.
The  Acharya Prashikshan Shibir of 2019 was attended by 5 KGBV teachers, 61 teachers of Arunachal Pradesh , 56 teachers of Assam, 4 teachers of Andaman and 2 teachers from Kallubalu representing 28 VKVs under VKVAPT, 17 VKVs under VKSPV and 4 and 2 teachers of Andaman and Karnataka respectively. All of them reported on 2nd April 2019 at Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari. There were 76 Sisters and 52 Brothers in total.

GOKULASHTAMI & RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATIONS VALLIOOR

We celebrated Krishna Jayanthi and Raksha Bandhan together in our school on 22.08.2019. We   started the program by Lighting the lamp Mrs.Gomathi, proprietor of MAG Gas Agency was the Chief guest of this program. She presided over the function, with her we have our correspondent  Shri.S.K.Subramanian and the Principal Mrs.Maheshwari accompanied with the chief guest on the dais,  following the lighting lamp, prayer song was sung by our school choir group.

We had a beautiful dance from our students predicting the naughtiness of Lord Krishna and we had a conversation about the speciality of the day. One of our faculty Mrs.Suba Maharasi  gave an oratious speech about the Krishna Jayanthi and Raksha Bandhan in tamil. In addition to that another faculty  Mrs. Thangam recited a poem in Hindi.

There were many  Little Krishnas and  Gopikas. A student disguised as Krishna and broke the pot which is called as “Uriyadi” and drank the butter milk. The Chief guest gave an auspicious speech about the function and  the pride of our institution and also she said some safety tips about usage of Gas in  our home.

Some of the  parents spoke their opinion about our school. Prizes were distributed to the students by the Chief guest and at last we concluded the function with Kendra Prayer.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION VALLIOOR - 2019

“This Independence day reminds us the struggle of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for our country “
  Independence day was celebrated in a grand manner on 15th August in our school campus. Around 800 students, 60 parents and 62 teachers were gathered. The Chief Guest “Mr. Dhamodhar Ex-President, Rotary club of vallioor central” hoisted the National flag Mr. Arumugam Tahsildar retired rotary club of vallioor Central, Sir Chellappa, Dr. Selvandran were the special guests.

    Students made the celebration in a grand one by presenting different programmes yoga, karate, hoops, conversation, pyramid and speeches about freedom in Tamil and English were delivered by the students. Inspiring speeches were given by our honorable guests and they awarded prizes to the students who scored more than 95% marks during the last academic year.

    After the celebration, sweets were distributed to students and parents. The celebration came to end with Kendra prayer. Our school Principal Mrs. Maheshwari  and Correspondent “Shri. S.K.Subramanian” arranged the function in a grand one.
