VK Delhi Organizes Speech Competition on Oneness of Existence and Universal Brotherhood

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Uttar Prant, Delhi Branch, in collaboration with the Vivekananda Study Circle, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, organized a speech competition on “Oneness of Existence, Swami Vivekananda and Universal Brotherhood” on 17 September 2026. The competition witnessed the participation of 55 students from 14 colleges of Delhi University, with a total attendance of 90 people.

Students from various colleges participated enthusiastically and presented their thoughts on Oneness of Existence, the message of Swami Vivekananda and the relevance of Universal Brotherhood in the present-day world. The competition provided a platform for the youth to study, reflect upon and express their understanding of Swamiji’s vision. 

Following the competition, a special session was conducted by Dr. Nikhil Yadav Ji, Prant Sah Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra Uttar Prant. He interacted with the students and shared insights on the teachings and vision of Swami Vivekananda, encouraging them to understand and apply these ideals in their lives.

The participants presented well-prepared speeches with enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the competition, the three best speakers were awarded cash prizes, while 10 students received consolation prizes.

The programme provided a meaningful opportunity for students from different colleges to come together, engage with the message of Swami Vivekananda and Universal Brotherhood, and reflect on its relevance to individual life and society.

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration at Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, Godavari Vibhag, Amalapuram Karyasthan, organized a Universal Brotherhood Day celebration at Srinivasa Yuva Kendra, Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology, Cheyyaru, on 11 September 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The programme witnessed the participation of 130 people, including 115 students, 10 faculty members, one representative from My Bharat, Shri Srinivas Anna and 3 Dayitwavan Karyakartas. 

The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a message from the My Bharat representative. Ms. Sarada Didi briefed the gathering about Universal Brotherhood Day and the significance of the occasion.

Shri Srinivas Anna addressed the students and shared the Universal Brotherhood Day message. The programme provided an opportunity for the students to connect with the message of universal brotherhood and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

The celebration concluded with a prayer.

Bhraman to Ramadevara Betta by VK Hebbal Nagarsthan

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Kempegowda Vibhag, Hebbal Nagarsthan, organized a Bhraman to Ramadevara Betta, Ramanagara, on 6 September 2026. The Bhraman witnessed the participation of 80 people.

The journey commenced from Bengaluru at 6:45 a.m. During the bus journey, the participants engaged in Bhajans, a talk on Swami Vivekananda and Kendra Parichaya, creating an enthusiastic and spiritually enriching atmosphere.

The group reached Ramanagara at 9:25 a.m. and began the trek to Ramadevara Betta. On reaching the temple, the participants had Darshan, followed by Bhajans and Hanuman Chalisa.

Shri Pradeep Ji, Yuva Pramukh, Karnataka Prant, addressed the participants and spoke about Amrit Parivar, encouraging them to strengthen their association with Vivekananda Kendra and participate in its various activities.

After lunch, the return journey commenced at 3:00 p.m. During the journey, participants shared their experiences and reflections from the Bhraman. Shri Vaidyanathan Ji, Hebbal Nagar Pramukh, encouraged everyone to regularly attend Kendra Varga and actively participate in Kendra activities.

The participants reached Bengaluru by 6:00 p.m., bringing the Bhraman to a joyful conclusion. The programme provided an opportunity for spiritual experience, physical activity, fellowship and meaningful interaction, while strengthening the participants’ connection with the ideals and activities of Vivekananda Kendra.

Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations at Aanandalayas in Karnataka Prant

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Aanandalaya Prakalp, organized Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at 37 places, reaching a total of 715 students.

The celebrations were conducted with devotion and enthusiasm, providing children an opportunity to connect with the life and inspiring ideals of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. A special attraction of the programmes was the participation of children dressed as Sri Krishna and Radha Rani, which brought a joyful and festive atmosphere to the celebrations.

Through the programmes, the children were introduced to the cultural and spiritual significance of Sri Krishna Janmashtami. Their enthusiastic participation added colour and devotion to the celebrations and helped create an atmosphere filled with Bhakti, joy and traditional values.

Universal Brotherhood Day Competitions at Mysore

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Chamundeshwari Devi Vibhag, Mysore Nagarsthan, organized Universal Brotherhood Day Competitions for school and college students on 5 September 2026. A total of 82 students from 7 schools and colleges participated in the competitions. The programme was also attended by 32 parents, 2 teachers and 5 Karyakartas.

The competitions included Vande Mataram Song, Quiz, Essay Writing, Swami Vivekananda costume competition, and Viveka Vani Competition, and Drawing. The activities provided an opportunity for students to learn about the life, message and ideals of Swami Vivekananda while expressing their knowledge and creativity through different competitions.

As a follow-up to the competitions, Universal Brotherhood Day celebrations are planned at 7 places, further carrying the message and ideals of Swami Vivekananda to students and the wider community.

Sree Krishna Janmashtami 2026 Celebration at VKVVF Kodungallur

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation (VKVVF), Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), celebrated Sree Krishna Janmashtami on 4 September 2026 at Ananda Dham, VKVVF Campus, Kodungallur. The celebration witnessed the participation of 55 people, including 12 children and 40 parents and family members.

Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director, VKVVF, graced the occasion and shared her message on the significance of Sree Krishna Janmashtami.

As part of the celebration, the children presented songs and dances, adding joy and devotion to the festive atmosphere. The programme brought children and families together in celebrating the auspicious occasion of Sree Krishna Janmashtami.

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के अवसर विचार गोष्ठी का आयोजन सागर शाखा द्वारा

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के पावन अवसर पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, सागर शाखा द्वारा स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी के 11 सितम्बर 1893 को शिकागो में दिए गए ऐतिहासिक उद्बोधन की स्मृति में एक विचार गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। शिक्षाविदों, युवाओं और कार्यकर्ताओं सहित कुल 75 प्रतिभागियों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं एवं समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों को स्वामी जी के विश्व बंधुत्व, चरित्र निर्माण एवं राष्ट्र निर्माण संबंधी विचारों से परिचित कराना था। आयोजन में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में अतिरिक्त जिला न्यायाधीश श्री राजेश सिंह तथा विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में किशोर न्याय बोर्ड की प्रधान मजिस्ट्रेट श्रीमती वीणा अग्निहोत्री उपस्थित रहीं। 

साथ ही, विवेकानंद केंद्र मध्य प्रांत की प्रांत संगठक सुश्री रचना जानी, धर्मेंद्र शर्मा तथा स्वामी विवेकानंद विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ. अनिल तिवारी की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही। मुख्य अतिथि श्री राजेश सिंह ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि स्वामी जी का शिकागो भाषण भारत की आत्मा का स्वर था; न्याय और विश्व बंधुत्व समान भाव पर आधारित हैं और उनके विचारों को अपनाकर समाज में अपराध व भेदभाव को कम किया जा सकता है। 

प्रांत संगठक रचना दीदी ने रेखांकित किया कि संघर्ष और अशांति के वर्तमान दौर में स्वामी जी का सर्वधर्म समभाव का संदेश और भी प्रासंगिक हो गया है। विशिष्ट अतिथि वीणा अग्निहोत्री ने नारी शक्ति, युवा शक्ति और चरित्र निर्माण के महत्व पर बल दिया।

 

वहीं धर्मेंद्र शर्मा ने केंद्र की गतिविधियों का परिचय देते हुए “उत्तिष्ठत भारत” युवा प्रेरणा ऑनलाइन प्रतियोगिता की जानकारी दी, जिसके तहत 16 से 35 वर्ष के 5 लाख युवाओं को जोड़ने और 1,000 युवाओं को चरित्र निर्माण का प्रशिक्षण देने का लक्ष्य है। 

अंत में, सभी उपस्थित जनों ने स्वामी जी के आदर्शों को अपनाकर राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान देने का संकल्प लिया।  

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कालिदास अकादमी परिसर उज्जैन द्वारा

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के गरिमामयी अवसर पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, मध्य प्रदेश उज्जैन शाखा द्वारा कालिदास अकादमी परिसर, उज्जैन में "स्वामी विवेकानंद आज भी प्रासंगिक हैं" विषय पर एक भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन 11 सितम्बर 2026 को किया गया। कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में नागरिक, युवा एवं विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के कार्यकर्ता सहित कुल 437 प्रतिभागियों की उत्साहपूर्ण उपस्थिति रही।

 कार्यक्रम में श्री सुदर्शन शिशुलकर ने स्वामी जी के विचारों को आत्मसात करने, श्री वीरेंद्र शर्मा ने केन्द्र की सेवा गतिविधियों का परिचय कराने तथा श्री मनीष खंडेलवाल ने अतिथियों का परिचय प्रस्तुत करने का कार्य किया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के अखिल भारतीय सेवा प्रमुख श्री पराग अभ्यंकर रहे, और अध्यक्षता श्री माधव काकाणी ने की। 

अपने ओजस्वी उद्बोधन में मुख्य वक्ता श्री पराग अभ्यंकर ने कहा कि युवाओं में ऊर्जा, सामर्थ्य और प्रतिभा प्रचुर मात्रा में होती है, किंतु उसे सही दिशा देने के लिए संस्कार, विवेक और राष्ट्रबोध आवश्यक हैं। उन्होंने युवाओं से अपनी शक्ति को समाज व राष्ट्रहित से जोड़ने तथा अधिकारों के साथ-साथ कर्तव्यों के प्रति भी सजग रहने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने रेखांकित किया कि भारत की पहचान प्राचीन संस्कृति और अध्यात्म के साथ-साथ त्याग व सेवा की भावना में निहित है।

श्रीमती स्मिता विफ्ट के कुशल संचालन में आयोजित यह कार्यक्रम अत्यंत प्रेरणादायी रहा।

युवा संवाद कार्यक्रम का आयोजन विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के अवसर पर शिवपुरी द्वारा

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के पावन अवसर पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, मध्य प्रदेश, शिवपुरी शाखा द्वारा यूनिवर्सिटी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी, आरजीपीव्ही, सतनवाड़ा, शिवपुरी में युवा संवाद कार्यक्रम का गरिमामयी आयोजन 11 सितम्बर 2026 किया गया। इस आयोजन में समाज के प्रबुद्धजन, प्राध्यापकगण, विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के कार्यकर्ता तथा बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राओं सहित कुल 165 प्रतिभागियों की उपस्थिति रही।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ तीन ओंकार, प्रार्थना एवं प्रेरणा गीत के साथ हुआ। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में लेखक, विचारक एवं प्रखर वक्ता प्रो. दिग्विजय सिंह सिकरवार, सहायक प्राध्यापक, विधि विभाग, शिवपुरी उपस्थित रहे। विशिष्ट अतिथियों के रूप में श्री विपिन शर्मा, नगर सह संघचालक श्री प्रमोद पांडे तथा नगर संचालक श्री गोपाल कृष्ण सिंघल उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर श्री नरेंद्र दीक्षित, श्री मुकेश जैन, डॉ. प्रज्ञा शर्मा, श्री सुरेश शर्मा, श्री नरेंद्र श्रीवास्तव, श्री राजकुमार शर्मा, श्री राजेश मिश्रा, श्री पूरन सिंह धाकड़, श्री चंदन सिंह धाकड़ और श्री केशव शर्मा सहित अनेक गणमान्य जन उपस्थित रहे। 

कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं को स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी के विचारों से जोड़ते हुए राष्ट्र निर्माण एवं विश्व बंधुत्व की भावना को सुदृढ़ करना था। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता यूआईटी आरजीपीव्ही के प्रभारी निदेशक प्रो. संजीव गुप्ता ने की। स्वागत भाषण देते हुए सह विभाग संचालक श्री विपिन शर्मा ने विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी का परिचय, उसकी कार्यपद्धति तथा विभिन्न सेवा एवं संस्कारात्मक गतिविधियों की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने युवाओं से स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी के विचारों से प्रेरणा लेकर राष्ट्र निर्माण के कार्यों में सहभागी बनने का आह्वान किया।

 मुख्य वक्ता प्रो. दिग्विजय सिंह सिकरवार ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि 11 सितम्बर वह ऐतिहासिक दिवस है, जब स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी ने शिकागो की विश्व धर्म संसद में भारत की सनातन संस्कृति और आध्यात्मिक विरासत का परिचय देकर देश को विश्व मंच पर विशिष्ट पहचान दिलाई। उन्होंने बल दिया कि वर्तमान समय में स्वामी जी के विचार और भी अधिक प्रासंगिक हैं तथा आज की पीढ़ी को संस्कारित करना समाज की सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है। 

अपने अध्यक्षीय उद्बोधन में प्रो. संजीव गुप्ता ने कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानन्द ने अल्पायु में ही भारत के खोए हुए स्वाभिमान को पुनर्स्थापित करने का महान कार्य किया और वर्तमान वैश्विक परिस्थितियों में विश्व बंधुत्व का उनका संदेश सम्पूर्ण मानवता के लिए मार्गदर्शक है।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन एवं आभार प्रदर्शन विभाग कार्यपद्धति प्रमुख शिशुपाल सिंह जादौन ने किया ।

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का आयोजन महाकौशल कॉलेज, जबलपुर द्वारा

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, जबलपुर द्वारा महाकौशल कॉलेज, जबलपुर के विशेष सहयोग से विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के अवसर पर एक भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस गरिमामयी कार्यक्रम में महाविद्यालयीन स्टाफ, कार्यकर्ताओं और छात्र-छात्राओं सहित कुल 200 प्रतिभागियों ने सहभागिता की।

 इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं को स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी के विचारों से प्रेरित कर भारतीय गौरव, आत्मविश्वास, चरित्र निर्माण एवं राष्ट्र निर्माण के कार्यों से जोड़ना था। आयोजन में मुख्य अतिथि श्री मदन ठाकरे, महाकौशल कॉलेज के प्राचार्य श्री अलकेश चतुर्वेदी, विवेकानंद केंद्र के विभाग संचालक श्री वेद प्रकाश, विभाग संगठक सुश्री माया पराड़कर, विभाग प्रमुख श्री मोहन चक्रवैश्य तथा नगर प्रमुख श्री अनिकेत गौरिया सहित समिति के श्री इंद्रजीत चौहान, श्री अभिषेक श्रीवास्तव, श्री विनय पटेल, श्री दुर्गेश, श्री जीतू एवं अनेक गणमान्य अतिथि उपस्थित रहे। 

कार्यक्रम में वक्ताओं ने कहा कि 11 सितम्बर 1893 को शिकागो की विश्व धर्म संसद में स्वामी विवेकानंद द्वारा दिया गया ऐतिहासिक उद्बोधन केवल एक भाषण नहीं, बल्कि विश्व मंच पर भारत के सभ्यतागत आत्मविश्वास की उद्घोषणा थी। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन के माध्यम से भारतीय संस्कृति के ‘वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्’ और विश्व बंधुत्व के संदेश को संपूर्ण विश्व तक पहुंचाया। वक्ताओं ने रेखांकित किया कि औपनिवेशिक शासन के दौर में भी स्वामी जी ने भारतीय युवाओं को अपनी संस्कृति, ज्ञान परंपरा और सामर्थ्य पर विश्वास करना सिखाया, जो 133 वर्ष बाद भी उतना ही प्रासंगिक है। 

वर्तमान युवा पीढ़ी की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डालते हुए वक्ताओं ने कहा कि देश की वास्तविक युवा शक्ति शिक्षा, नवाचार, स्टार्टअप, खेल, तकनीक, सेना और समाज सेवा के माध्यम से राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान दे रही है। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि आज के युवाओं के पास सूचना और तकनीकी संसाधनों की प्रचुरता है, किंतु सूचना को विवेक में, ऊर्जा को सृजन में तथा असहमति को सकारात्मक परिवर्तन में बदलने के लिए सही दिशा आवश्यक है। यह दिशा स्वामी विवेकानंद के विचारों से प्राप्त हो सकती है। उन्होंने युवाओं का आह्वान किया कि वे ज्ञान, पर्यावरण संरक्षण, सामाजिक समरसता, स्वदेशी उद्योग, नवाचार तथा सांस्कृतिक विरासत के संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाएं। 

कार्यक्रम में इस बात पर विशेष बल दिया गया कि आधुनिकता और भारतीयता परस्पर विरोधी नहीं हैं। आधुनिक तकनीक, वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण और भारतीय सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों के समन्वय से ही सशक्त राष्ट्र का निर्माण संभव है। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि “Gen-Z समस्या नहीं, बल्कि भारत की सबसे बड़ी संभावना है।” आवश्यकता इस पीढ़ी को स्वामी विवेकानंद के आत्मविश्वास, चरित्र, सेवा, साहस और विश्व बंधुत्व के आदर्शों से जोड़ने की है। 

मुख्य अतिथि श्री मदन ठाकरे ने भी युवाओं से राष्ट्रहित में अपनी प्रतिभा और ऊर्जा का उपयोग करने का आह्वान किया। 

अंततः कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से सभी युवाओं को स्वामी जी के विचारों के अनुरूप आत्मविश्वासी, चरित्रवान एवं राष्ट्रनिष्ठ नागरिक बनने का सशक्त संदेश दिया गया।

'विश्व भ्रातृत्व दिवस' का आयोजन असम, गुवाहाटी द्वारा

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, असम, गुवाहाटी द्वारा 11 सितंबर को 'विश्व भ्रातृत्व दिवस' के अवसर पर उग्रतारा नगर कामरूप विभाग, कलाक्षेत्र नगर एवं वशिष्ठ कार्यस्थानों के अंतर्गत विभिन्न स्थानों पर प्रेरणादायी कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें कुल 99 सदस्यों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

1. उग्रतारा नगर कामरूप विभाग (उजानबाज़ार व सती राधिका उद्यान परिसर) 

उग्रतारा नगर कामरूप विभाग द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत सर्वप्रथम सती राधिका उद्यान तक एक भव्य जागरूकता रैली निकाली गई, जिसमें कुल 63 सदस्यों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही, और प्रतिभागियों ने संदेश-पट्टिकाओं के माध्यम से विश्वबंधुत्व, एकता और सद्भाव का संदेश दिया। 

इसके पश्चात उजानबाज़ार स्थित VKIC कार्यालय में ॐकार एवं शांति पाठ के साथ मुख्य सत्र प्रारंभ हुआ। कार्यक्रम में सुश्री अनीता दे द्वारा 'भुवन मण्डल' सामूहिक गीत तथा सुश्री दीपिका रायमेधी द्वारा स्वामी विवेकानंद की वाणी का पाठ प्रस्तुत किया गया। मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित केंद्र के वरिष्ठ कार्यकर्ता आदरणीय श्री दीपंकर महन्त दादा ने भ्रातृत्व दिवस की प्रासंगिकता और स्वामी जी के विश्वबंधुत्व के संदेश पर विचार रखे। इसके बाद स्वदेश मंत्र का पाठ किया गया।

पुष्पा सोनी के संचालन में आयोजित इस सार्थक कार्यक्रम का समापन शांति मंत्र के साथ हुआ ।
 

2. बटाहघुली (कलाक्षेत्र नगर एवं वशिष्ठ कार्यस्थान) 

कलाक्षेत्र नगर एवं वशिष्ठ कार्यस्थानों के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में बटाहघुली स्थित गणेश मंदिर परिसर में विश्व भ्रातृत्व दिवस का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में कुल 36 लोगों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की। 

इस कार्यक्रम में आदरणीय मंजुश्री कलिता बैदेउ एवं आदरणीय धीरा डेका बैदेउ की विशेष उपस्थिति रही। सत्र के दौरान आदरणीय हरेश्वर डेका दादा तथा आदरणीय मामनी फुकन बैदेउ ने उपस्थित जनों को संबोधित करते हुए विश्व भ्रातृत्व दिवस के महत्व और स्वामी विवेकानंद जी के आदर्शों पर अपने विचार व्यक्त किए।

 इस सार्थक कार्यक्रम का समापन शांति मंत्र के साथ हुआ।

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration at Thiru Narayana Lower Primary School in Engandiyur

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Keralam Prant, Guruvayur Branch, organized a Universal Brotherhood Day programme at Thiru Narayana Lower Primary School, Engandiyur, on 11 September 2026, from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The programme witnessed a total participation of 82, including 70 students and 12 others comprising the Headmistress, teachers, parents and 5 Karyakartas.

The programme commenced with an introductory address by a teacher, who explained the significance of observing Universal Brotherhood Day on 11 September, commemorating Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago. Shri Jyothivas Ji introduced Shri Vishnu Ji and expressed the gratitude of VK Guruvayur Branch to the school for providing the opportunity to conduct the programme.

Interacting with the students, Shri Vishnu Ji spoke about Swami Vivekananda and the importance of his Chicago address. He encouraged the students to read books on Swami Vivekananda and imbibe his inspiring ideas. He also emphasized the importance of protecting the environment.

As part of the celebration, a competition for students had been conducted two days earlier, in which 25 students participated. All the participants were presented with certificates, while three winners received books as prizes.

The Headmistress thanked Vivekananda Kendra Guruvayur Branch for conducting the programme at the school. The programme concluded with the Shanti Mantra.

Universal Brotherhood Day Celebration at Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School in Engandiyur

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Keralam Prant, Guruvayur Branch, organized a Universal Brotherhood Day celebration at Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School, Engandiyur, on 11 September 2026, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The programme witnessed a total participation of 425, including 400 students and 25 others comprising the Principal, teachers, parents and 5 Karyakartas.

The programme commenced with Pushparchana to Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekananda, followed by Daivadasakam rendered by the students. The Principal and a teacher spoke about Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago and the significance of Universal Brotherhood Day.

Students from the Primary Section, dressed as Swami Vivekananda, presented inspiring quotes of Swamiji. Kumari Nivedya, dressed as Swami Vivekananda, presented excerpts from his historic Chicago address.

Shri Jyothivas Ji introduced the main speaker, Shri Vishnu Ji, Karyapaddhati Pramukh, Keralam Prant. Addressing the students of Classes IV to IX, Shri Vishnu Ji encouraged them to follow the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and cultivate a spirit of brotherhood towards fellow beings as well as harmony with the environment.

As part of the celebration, competitions on Swami Vivekananda’s quotes and Chicago address had been conducted at the school two days earlier. Participation certificates were presented to 25 students, while 7 winners received books on Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

Special Lecture on Universal Brotherhood Day at Cluster University of Jammu

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Jammu Branch, in collaboration with the Office of Dean Students’ Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu, organized a special lecture to commemorate Universal Brotherhood Day on 11 September 2026 at the Conference Hall, GGM Science College, Jammu. The programme witnessed a total participation of 180, including students, faculty members and staff.

The programme commemorated Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago and highlighted the relevance of his message of universal brotherhood for the youth.

Prof. K.S. Chandrasekar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, graced the programme as the Chief Guest, along with Deans, faculty members, staff and students. From Vivekananda Kendra, Shri P.S. Pathaniya, Sah Sanchalak, Uttar Prant, and Shri Anurag Sharma, Nagar Pramukh, were present.

The programme commenced with Deepa Prajwalan, Vande Mataram and Kulgeet. Dr. Vishal Sharma, Dean Students’ Welfare, delivered the welcome address.

Shri Anupam Raina, Senior Advocate, J&K High Court, addressed the gathering on “Youth for One World,” while Shri Lokesh Shri Ram Keshre, Sah Sanghatak, Uttar Prant, spoke on “Swami Vivekananda’s Message to Youth.”

In his address, Prof. K.S. Chandrasekar emphasized the importance of tolerance, unity and character-building among the youth.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri Shriyans Jain, followed by the National Anthem.

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का आयोजन शिमला द्वारा

11 सितंबर 2026 को विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा शिमला, राजकीय संस्कृत महाविद्यालय फागली शिमला और रोटरी क्लब शिमला हिल क्वींस के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में "विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस" का सफल आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें कुल 170 प्रतिभागियों ने अपनी गरिमामयी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई। इस भव्य समारोह की भूमिका के रूप में 10 सितंबर 2026 को एक अंतर-महाविद्यालयीन भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन भी किया गया था। 

मुख्य कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ पारंपरिक दीप प्रज्वलन, त्रिओंकार एवं सरस्वती वंदना के साथ हुआ, जिससे पूरा वातावरण आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा से भर उठा। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में पधारे भारतीय उच्च अध्ययन संस्थान (IIAS) शिमला के जन संपर्क अधिकारी डॉ. अखिलेश पाठक ने स्वामी विवेकानंद के संदेशों के संदर्भ में विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस की वर्तमान प्रासंगिकता पर अपने अनमोल विचार साझा किए। 

समारोह की अध्यक्षता राजकीय संस्कृत महाविद्यालय फागली के प्रधानाचार्य डॉ. गिरीश कुमार शर्मा ने की, जिन्होंने युवाओं को वैश्विक भाईचारे और सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों को आत्मसात करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इस अवसर पर पूर्व दिन आयोजित भाषण प्रतियोगिता के प्रतिभावान विजेताओं को मुख्य अतिथि एवं अध्यक्ष द्वारा पुरस्कार व प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया। 

प्रेरणादायी विचारों, उत्साह और भावी पीढ़ी को एकजुट करने के संकल्प के साथ इस सफल कार्यक्रम का औपचारिक समापन शांति मंत्र के पाठ एवं राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ।

Universal Brotherhood Day Programme at NSB College in Nanded

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Maharashtra Prant, Nanded Branch, organized a Universal Brotherhood Day programme at NSB College, Nanded, in the presence of Mananeeya Shri Madgonda Pujari Ji. The programme witnessed the participation of 61 people, including 56 students and 5 Karyakartas.

The programme commenced at 11:00 a.m. with floral tributes, followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest and the College Principal. Mananeeya Shri Madgonda Pujari Ji addressed the students and shared an inspiring message on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day.

Following the address, Shri Narendra Gundewar Ji introduced the upcoming Youth Leadership Development Activity (YLDA) and encouraged the students to participate. A short film was also screened to introduce the students to the vision and various activities of Vivekananda Kendra.

The programme was compered by Shri Parag Singanwad ji, Yuva Pramukh. The programme served as a meaningful initiative to connect the youth with the ideals of universal brotherhood, national integration and responsible leadership.

Bhajan Sandhya occasion of the Punya Tithi of Mananeeya Tarun Chandra Goswami Ji orgnized at Kamrup

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, Kamrup Vibhag, organized a soul-stirring Bhajan Sandhya occasion of the Punya Tithi of Mananeeya Tarun Chandra Goswami Ji on September 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Yoga Hall, VKIC Uzanbazar. A total of 47 attendees joined the program to offer their prayers, reverence, and gratitude to the noble soul. 

The program was held on the solemn occasion of the Punya Tithi of Mananeeya Tarun Chandra Goswami Ji, honoring his enduring memory and deep devotion as the revered land donor for the construction of the VKIC building. The sacred Shraddhanjali ceremony was graced by the revered presence of Mananeeya Pravinji, All-India Treasurer of VRMVK and Mananeeya Alkagauri Didi, Assam Prant Sangathak, VRMVK. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mananeeya Pravinji beautifully narrated the inspirational journey and history behind the establishment of VKIC. She paid rich tributes to swargiya Tarun Chandra Goswami Ji, highlighting his selfless dedication and invaluable contributions to Vivekananda Kendra, society, and our great Bharat Mata. 

The program concluded with the Shanti Mantra.

80th Independence Day Celebration at VKV Vallioor

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vallioor, celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 at the school premises. The programme commenced at 9:30 a.m. and witnessed the participation of 572 students, staff and guests. Rtn. Shri Jeya Ganesh, President, Rotary Club, Vallioor, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and Shri S.K. Subramanian, Correspondent, VKV MHSS, Vallioor, presided over the programme.

The celebration commenced with a prayer song and Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by the welcome address delivered by Selvi Suji of Class IX. The Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag in the presence of Rtn. Shri Innocent Raja, Secretary; Rtn. Shri Vignesh Kanthan, Treasurer; and Rtn. Dr. Selvendren, IPP, Rotary Club, Vallioor. This was followed by the Flag Song rendered by the school choir.

Addressing the gathering, Rtn. Shri Jeya Ganesh spoke about the significance of Independence and encouraged the students to understand and value the freedom achieved through the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.

The cultural programme featured a mass drill, flag exercise, Bharatanatyam, Yoga demonstration, patriotic dance and pyramid formation. Selvi Anjana also delivered a speech in English on the significance of freedom.

Prizes were distributed to students who had excelled in competitions held in connection with Kamarajar’s Birth Anniversary and in zonal-level Throwball, Athletics and Silambam competitions.

Selvi Indhuja of Class XII proposed the vote of thanks. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and distribution of sweets.

'विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस' के पावन अवसर पर विमर्श कार्यक्रम का आयोजन दुर्ग द्वारा

11 सितम्बर 2026 को 'विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस' के पावन अवसर पर विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, मध्य प्रदेश प्रांत, दुर्ग, शासकीय विज्ञान महाविद्यालय, दुर्ग में एक विचारोत्तेजक विमर्श कार्यक्रम का भव्य आयोजन किया गया।इस गरिमामयी कार्यक्रम में कुल 302 प्रतिभागियों की उत्साहपूर्ण उपस्थिति रही, जिनमें महाविद्यालय के प्राध्यापक, शोधार्थी और छात्र-छात्राएं शामिल थे। 

कार्यक्रम का विधिवत शुभारंभ महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. अजय सिंह के स्वागत अभिभाषण से हुआ, जिन्होंने सभी अतिथियों का अभिनंदन करते हुए दिवस की प्रासंगिकता पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में सेवानिवृत्त पूर्व भारतीय वन अधिकारी आदरणीय श्री राकेश चतुर्वेदी जी उपस्थित रहे। 

मुख्य वक्ता आदरणीय श्री राकेश चतुर्वेदी जी ने भारतीय जीवन-दर्शन के सार्वभौमिक संदेश 'वसुधैव कुटुंबकम' को रेखांकित करते हुए विद्यार्थियों को स्वामी विवेकानंद जी के विचारों पर चलने तथा समाज में एकजुटता व पर्यावरण-हितैषी चेतना के प्रसार के लिए प्रेरित किया। 

विमर्श के दौरान वक्ताओं ने विश्व बंधुत्व, राष्ट्रीय एकता, सांस्कृतिक धरोहर एवं सामाजिक समरसता जैसे गंभीर व समसामयिक विषयों पर गहन विचार-विमर्श किया।

पूरा आयोजन मध्य प्रांत के प्रांत प्रमुख आदरणीय श्री शशि दत्त गगरानी जी की विशेष एवं गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ।

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का आयोजन पीजीवी कॉलेज एवं शासकीय आयुर्वेदिक महाविद्यालय, ग्वालियर में

स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी द्वारा 11 सितम्बर 1893 को शिकागो विश्व धर्म महासभा में दिए गए ऐतिहासिक संदेश तथा वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् की भावना के स्मरण में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा ग्वालियर द्वारा विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के अवसर पर पीजीवी कॉलेज एवं शासकीय आयुर्वेदिक महाविद्यालय, ग्वालियर में विशेष कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। केंद्र के कार्यकर्ता, शुभचिंतक, महाविद्यालयीन स्टाफ तथा बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राओं सहित कुल 300 प्रतिभागियों की उपस्थिति रही। 

पीजीवी कॉलेज में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में हिंदी व्याख्याता डॉ. कपिल सिंह राघव मुख्य अतिथि, लोकतंत्र सेनानी संगठन के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष श्री मोहन बिटवेकर विशेष अतिथि तथा पूर्व सांसद श्री विवेक नारायण शेजवलकर अध्यक्ष के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम का कुशल संयोजन प्राचार्य सुनील पाठक द्वारा किया गया। अपने उद्बोधन में डॉ. कपिल सिंह राघव एवं मोहन बिटवेकर ने युवाओं से स्वामी विवेकानंद के आह्वान को आत्मसात कर राष्ट्रकार्य में सक्रिय योगदान देने का आग्रह किया। वहीं अध्यक्षीय उद्बोधन में विवेक नारायण शेजवलकर ने कहा कि शिकागो धर्म महासभा में स्वामी विवेकानंद द्वारा धर्म, विज्ञान और भारतीय संस्कृति पर व्यक्त विचार आज भी विश्व शांति और मानवता के लिए अत्यंत प्रासंगिक हैं। उन्होंने युवाओं से स्वामी जी के "Be and Make" के संदेश को अपने जीवन में अपनाने का आह्वान किया।

दूसरी ओर शासकीय आयुर्वेदिक महाविद्यालय में आयोजित कार्यक्रम प्राचार्य महेश शर्मा की अध्यक्षता एवं विवेकानंद केंद्र के जीवनव्रती कार्यकर्ता व नगर संगठक श्री श्रवण कुमार तिवारी के मुख्य आतिथ्य में सम्पन्न हुआ। अपने संबोधन में श्री श्रवण कुमार तिवारी ने युवाओं से विवेकानंद केंद्र के कार्यों से जुड़कर व्यक्ति निर्माण, समाज सेवा एवं राष्ट्र उत्थान के कार्यों में सहभागी बनने का आह्वान किया। 

कार्यक्रम के उपरांत विद्यार्थियों द्वारा विश्व बंधुत्व एवं राष्ट्रीय जागरूकता का संदेश देने हेतु एक विशाल जागरूकता रैली भी निकाली गई।

इन दोनों कार्यक्रमों में केंद्र के नगर प्रमुख श्री बी.डी. राजपूत, श्री जनार्दन त्यागी, श्री गिरीश कुमार पाल, ममता अग्रवाल, गिरजा गर्ग की उपस्थिति रही।

इन आयोजनों के माध्यम से स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी के विश्व बंधुत्व, मानव एकता और राष्ट्र निर्माण के संदेश को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने का सफल प्रयास किया गया।

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का आयोजन नागार्जुन शासकीय स्नातकोत्तर विज्ञान महाविद्यालय, रायपुर

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, रायपुर द्वारा विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के पावन अवसर पर नागार्जुन शासकीय स्नातकोत्तर विज्ञान महाविद्यालय, रायपुर में एक विशेष एवं प्रेरणादायी कार्यक्रम का आयोजन 11 सितम्बर को किया गया। आयोजन में महाविद्यालयीन स्टाफ, शोधार्थियों और विद्यार्थियों सहित कुल 151 प्रतिभागियों की उत्साहजनक उपस्थिति रही। 

यह गरिमामयी कार्यक्रम विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, मध्य प्रांत के प्रांत प्रमुख आदरणीय श्री शशि दत्त गगरानी जी के मुख्य आतिथ्य में सम्पन्न हुआ, रायपुर के पुलिस आयुक्त डॉ. संजीव शुक्ला जी कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। 

अपने ओजस्वी उद्बोधन में मुख्य वक्ता एवं अतिथियों ने स्वामी विवेकानंद जी द्वारा 11 सितम्बर 1893 को शिकागो विश्व धर्म संसद में दिए गए ऐतिहासिक संदेश की प्रासंगिकता पर गहन प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने रेखांकित किया कि विश्व बंधुत्व, मानवता, सहिष्णुता एवं राष्ट्रनिष्ठा के स्वामी जी के विचार आज भी समाज के लिए सच्चे मार्गदर्शक हैं।

वक्ताओं ने युवाओं का आह्वान किया कि वे स्वामी विवेकानंद जी के आदर्शों को जीवन में अपनाकर अपने व्यक्तित्व का सर्वांगीण विकास करें और राष्ट्र निर्माण में अपनी सक्रिय भूमिका निभाएं।

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के इस आयोजन ने सभी उपस्थितजनों को स्वामी जी के विचारों एवं सर्व-मानवता के संदेश से गहराई से अनुप्राणित किया।

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का आयोजन इन्दौर द्वारा

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, इन्दौर एवं एसजीएसआईटीएस SGSITS, इन्दौर के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में 11 सितम्बर 1893 को शिकागो विश्व धर्म संसद में स्वामी विवेकानन्द द्वारा दिए गए ऐतिहासिक उद्बोधन की स्मृति में विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। युवाओं को स्वामी जी के जीवन, विचारों एवं राष्ट्र निर्माण के संदेश से प्रेरित करने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में 200 छात्र-छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता की।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्रो. अजीत बरगले ने किया, संयोजन प्रो. निधि ओसवाल द्वारा किया गया तथा धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रसाद व्यास ने प्रस्तुत किया। इस अवसर पर  श्री अतुल शैठ,  श्री उमेश खंडेलवाल, श्री सोनू गुप्ता और श्री हितेश सोनी सहित अनेक गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता श्री लखन यादव ने स्वामी विवेकानन्द के जीवन की प्रेरणादायक घटनाओं का उल्लेख करते हुए बताया कि कन्याकुमारी की शिला पर 72 घंटे के ध्यान के पश्चात स्वामी जी को अपने जीवन ध्येय की स्पष्टता प्राप्त हुई। उन्होंने आर्थिक अभावों, अपरिचित वातावरण और विभिन्न चुनौतियों का धैर्यपूर्वक सामना करते हुए शिकागो में भारत की सांस्कृतिक समृद्धि का परचम लहराया। 

सीए अनुराग जोशी ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि ब्रिटिश शासनकाल में भारत के प्रति बनी पिछड़ी धारणा को स्वामी जी के भाषण ने बदल दिया, जिसकी सराहना अमेरिकी समाचार पत्रों ने भी की।

वहीं, कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कर रहे SGSITS के निदेशक प्रो. नितेश पुरोहित ने वैज्ञानिक दृष्टांत देते हुए कहा कि जिस प्रकार इलेक्ट्रॉन को उच्च कक्षा में पहुँचने के लिए ऊर्जा की आवश्यकता होती है, उसी प्रकार जीवन में उच्च उपलब्धियाँ प्राप्त करने के लिए युवाओं को स्वामी जी के विचारों से प्रेरणा ग्रहण करनी चाहिए। 

इस अवसर पर आगामी “उत्तिष्ठ भारत” युवा प्रतियोगिता के पोस्टर का विमोचन भी किया गया और कार्यक्रम का समापन पूर्ण वन्दे मातरम् के सुमधुर गायन के साथ हुआ।

108 पार्थिव शिवलिंग निर्माण एवं शिव-अमृत पूजन का आयोजित भावनगर द्वारा

भावनगर स्थित प्रसिद्ध एवं ऐतिहासिक आस्था के केंद्र तख्तेश्वर महादेव मंदिर के पावन सान्निध्य में स्वामी विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, गुजरात, भावनगर द्वारा पवित्र श्रावण मास के उपलक्ष्य में 108 पार्थिव शिवलिंग निर्माण एवं शिव-अमृत पूजन का एक अत्यंत भव्य, दिव्य एवं भक्तिमय कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित किया गया। 6 सितंबर 2026 को प्रातः 7:00 बजे से 9:00 बजे तक आयोजित इस आध्यात्मिक आयोजन में समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों से लगभग 20 परिवारों ने अपने बच्चों सहित उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया, जिसमें कुल 53 श्रद्धालुओं की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही।

इस अवसर पर श्रीमती मंजु दीदी ने उपस्थित सभी श्रद्धालुओं को अपना आशीर्वचन एवं धर्म और संस्कारों के मार्ग पर चलने का प्रेरणादायी मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया, वहीं श्री नरेंद्रभाई त्रिवेदी की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति ने कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ाई। सभी भावकों ने पूर्ण श्रद्धा, भक्ति और स्वच्छता के साथ शुद्ध मिट्टी से 108 पार्थिव शिवलिंगों का निर्माण किया, जिसके पश्चात विद्वान आचार्यों के मार्गदर्शन में शास्त्रोक्त विधि-विधान, मंत्रोच्चार एवं शिव-अमृत पूजन के साथ भगवान आशुतोष का अभिषेक एवं पूजन संपन्न हुआ।

भारतीय वैदिक एवं आध्यात्मिक परंपरा में पार्थिव शिवलिंग पूजन का विशेष महात्म्य बताया गया है; मिट्टी से शिवलिंग का निर्माण करना, उसकी प्राण-प्रतिष्ठा कर पूजन करना और तत्पश्चात जल में विसर्जन करना—सृष्टि के निर्माण, स्थिति और विलय के शाश्वत एवं दार्शनिक चक्र को जीवंत रूप में अभिव्यक्त करता है। तख्तेश्वर महादेव के सुरम्य परिसर में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण छोटे-छोटे बच्चों और परिवारों की सक्रिय भागीदारी रही, जिससे नई पीढ़ी को अपनी समृद्ध सनातन संस्कृति, जीवन-मूल्यों, संस्कारों तथा आध्यात्मिक जड़ों से जुड़ने का एक प्रत्यक्ष एवं सुंदर अवसर मिला। 

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, जो सतत रूप से समाज में सेवा, संस्कार, योग और भारतीय संस्कृति के संरक्षण-संवर्धन हेतु प्रयासरत रहता है, उसकी यह एक अत्यंत सार्थक और प्रेरणादायी पहल साबित हुई। पूजन और शिव-अमृत आरती के उपरांत सभी श्रद्धालुओं ने तख्तेश्वर महादेव के दर्शन-पूजन किए और निर्मित पार्थिव शिवलिंगों का पूर्ण विधि-विधान से विसर्जन किया। 

अंततः, यह संपूर्ण आयोजन अगाध भक्ति, दृढ श्रद्धा, पारिवारिक आत्मीयता तथा संस्कारमय वातावरण में अत्यंत हर्षोल्लास एवं दिव्यता के साथ संपन्न हुआ।
