VKVVF Kodungallur Concludes International Day of Yoga 2026 Celebrations with Yoga Seminar

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) organized a Yoga Seminar on 27th June 2026 at Ananda Dham, VKVVF, Kodungallur, as the concluding programme of the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations. The seminar was held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 75 participants.

The seminar was inaugurated by Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi. Eminent speakers, including Dr. Kaithapram Vasudevan Namboothiri (Director, Patanjali Yoga Training & Research Centre, Yoga Educator), Dr. Atmadev (Yoga Acharya and Yoga Therapist), and Shri Rajagopal Krishnan (Senior Teacher, Art of Living and Secretary, Indian Yoga Association – Kerala Chapter), addressed the gathering. Their insightful sessions on Yogic Science, Healthy Ageing, and Yoga in Daily Life highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical health, mental well-being, and a balanced lifestyle.

The participants were welcomed by Shri Jaikishan Ji, Kendra Karyakarta and Yoga Instructor, while Aadaraneeya Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevanvrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra and Yogacharya, delivered the vote of thanks. Lunch was served after the seminar, and the participants dispersed with renewed inspiration to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

The programme marked a fitting conclusion to the International Day of Yoga celebrations, reinforcing the message of holistic health, harmony, and the timeless relevance of yoga.

VKVVF Kodungallur Celebrates International Day of Yoga 2026 with NCC at Munambam Beach

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), in association with National Cadet Corps (NCC), 22(K) Battalion, Alwaye, celebrated the International Day of Yoga on 20th June 2026 at Munambam Beach, Vypin. The programme, held from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., witnessed the participation of 307 participants, including 283 students, 21 teachers, and 3 karyakartas.

The programme was graced by Col. Ramachandran, Major Narayanan, Lieutenant Akhil J., and Dr. Jitha T. H., Principal, Sree Narayana Mangalam College, Maliankara. The yoga session was conducted by Shri Danasheelan Ji and Shri Arun Ji, who guided the participants through various Yogasanas and yogic practices while highlighting the importance of Yoga for physical fitness, mental balance, emotional well-being, and holistic development.

A special highlight of the programme was the felicitation of Shri Jaikishan C. S., Yoga Instructor, by the NCC in recognition of his dedicated service towards the promotion of Yoga. The celebration concluded successfully, inspiring the participants to embrace Yoga as a way of life and reinforcing the message of health, harmony, and holistic well-being.

Samatva Yoga Sangamam organized by VKVVF, Kodungallur

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) successfully organized a Samatva Yoga Sangamam on 6th June 2026 at the Pratheeksha Indoor Stadium, Arattu Kadavu, Perinjanam, Kodungallur, marking their first major event in observance of the International Day of Yoga 2026.The gathering brought together 43 local yoga practitioners and wellness enthusiasts.

The programme was inaugurated by Aadaraneeya Shri Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevanvrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, who lit the ceremonial lamp and delivered the keynote address. In his inspiring speech, he highlighted the significance of yoga in promoting physical well-being, mental harmony, and social unity.

Smt. Sheela Lal Chechi coordinated the event. The event concluded on a highly successful note, receiving enthusiastic feedback from all participants and serving as a meaningful platform to spread awareness, instill a spirit of equality, and nurture collective well-being within the society.

Amrita Kutumbham Sangamam at VKVVF Kodungulur

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungulur (Kerala Prant), organized an Amrita Kutumbham Sangamam on 25th August 2025 at Sharada Gramam, Edavilangu, hosted at the residence of Shri Yatindra Nath Ji, a VKVVF Yoga participant. The gathering began at 8:00 a.m. and witnessed the participation of 24 members, including parents, mothers, and families.

Adarneeya Radhakrishnan Ji, senior Kendra karyakarta, addressed the participants, guiding them on the concept of Amrita Kutumbham and its relevance in strengthening family bonds. He emphasized the importance of nurturing children with the right values to face life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

As part of the programme, Viveka Vibuthi for the month was offered to the residence of Shri Unnikrishnan Ji. This initiative, led by VKVVF, aims to extend support to economically weaker families, thereby fostering the spirit of service and collective responsibility.

The Sangamam provided inspiration and practical direction for families to walk together in harmony and contribute to building a value-based society.
