During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor appreciated the efforts being undertaken at the Ashram to preserve the region’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage and highlighted the enduring relevance of values such as service, unity, compassion, and harmony.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Manoj Sinha emphasized that the timeless teachings of Sanatana traditions continue to offer valuable guidance in building a society founded on compassion, mutual respect, and service to humanity. He noted that heritage preservation extends beyond protecting physical structures and historical sites to safeguarding the values, traditions, and cultural consciousness transmitted across generations.
The foundation stone laid during the visit is expected to provide further impetus to initiatives dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the region’s cultural and spiritual heritage. The Lieutenant Governor also underlined the importance of collective efforts by communities, institutions, and civil society organizations in preserving Jammu and Kashmir’s unique cultural identity while strengthening the bonds of unity and social harmony.
