Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Branch Surat organized a 3 days Residential Personality Development for the students of class 6th and above from 26th to 28th April 2014 Vibrant International School, Masma, Oldpad, Surat. The main motto of the camp is to give future leaders a positive direction and to inculcate patriotism, cultural value, self discipline and the attitude of Social Service, with the twine ideal of Vivekananda Kendra “Man Making–nation Building” through the various sessions on Yoga, Sanskar Varga, Niyudha, Prathana, Drama, lecture, Ekatmata strotra, concentration, memory development games & group discussion. Total 93 participants took part in the camp.
In all 10 sessions were taken on various topics for the Personality Development of an individual. The camp was introduced by Shri. Deepakbhai Rajyaguru, Chairman of Vibrant Academy. He welcomed all the participants in the camp and advised to take the benefit of such camps. He also exhorted the participants to carry forward the positive attitudes, good personalities and set an example in the society. The main theme of the Shivir was Saskar Varga. And the 3 session on Sanskar varga was kept. And the daily theme were given as Anushasan, Niyamitta and Agyapalan. The Gana names were based on the good qualities( Druti, Satatya, Niyamita, Nistha & Samarpan) that one should develop to be Supperman. Group discussions were kept on the topic: Sadaran Manusiya se Aahsadaran Manusiya, Sadaran Karya se Ashadaran Karya And Sangathit karya duwara Ahsadaran Karya.
Shri. Ambarishbhai Parajiya, (Saha Vyavastha Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra Surat Branch) among the youth and Kum.Vaishaliben Rana (Sampark Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Branch Surat of Navsari, jilla) among the children took the session on Jivan Mulya. Shri. Gopalbhai(Vimarsh Vyavasthapak) took the session on the topic: hum be to kuch Dena Sikhe. And Shri Deepakbhai Bhatt took the session on the Sanskar Varga Kya? Kyu? Kese?
Drama the manthan topic was prepared by the children and presented at stage with the help of Gana Pramukhs. Physical part “Strength is life weakness is death as Swami Vivekananda says”. So with this motto session was conducted by Gana Pramukhs. Prerna-Se-Punaruthan; Pariwar Bannao, Action Songs, Story session & Introspection.
Vaishali didi at his concluding session he suggested that what was taught in the three days camp to improve oneself, and for the development of the Nation is to be applied in the our daily life. And our motto is to expand more & more Sanskar Varga and fulfill the Vision “Be and make”.
