Utsarg Samaroh, 2014: It was a great experience for all the team members of VKVAPT to attend all the Utsarg Samaroh conducted in this year. The programme was designed in such a way that the participants get refining touch on the subject from carefully chosen resource persons, experience of living together in a well-planned daily routine, get such messages which would help them to consolidate the value education which they have been receiving as a part of the schooling for the last 10 years and experience  the program like Vande Mataram, in which, all pay floral tribute to Bharat Mata, witness the act of expressing gratitude to who  are contributing in one’s life etc  to create an everlasting impression in the minds of the participants. Shri Krishnakumar, Cluster in charge of Lohit and Tirap and Sri Unnikrishnan, Education Officer, VKVAPT, Dibrugarh were along with me in all the venues.

Matrupooja: Matrupooja is another programme conducted for the Class X students. The students with lot of shradha wash the feet of their mothers and offer a simple pooja. The importance of Motherhood and the need of keeping everlasting values like Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava, Acharaya Devo Bhava, Rashtra Devo Bhava etc in life to lead a meaningful and joyful life is shared to the students and their parents.  It was quite emotional in witnessing the pooja and to listen to the sharing of the impact of the pooja by the students and the mothers after the poja.  I could attend the pooja in Roing, Sunpura, Tafrogam, Amliang, Kharsang, Itanagar and Banderdewa. The pooja in other places will be held in the month of February. Shri Krishnakumar Sir has conducted the pooja in lucid and effective way. The details of the participation are as follow:
