Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust August Month Report

It was an enriching experience to have a short conversation with a lean, old sweeper of in an Ashram where I have visited recently. It happened in one of my strolling through the well maintained Ashram Campus. On seeing the lady who was searching something, I enquired about the reason for her searching. She said “I am a bit worried as the brooms kept in this area are missing”. I could not resist from remarking “Is that a thing to be bothered about?”  The answer was in the unexpected line. “It is not that a trivial broom is missing, but that a thing in the Ashram is missing is a matter of concern. We all the employees take care that nothing is wasted or missed here. Look at the way the used water is utilized for the growth of plants, look at the way the campus is maintained. We all are aware that this Ashram belongs to everyone and hence we cannot afford to miss or waste”. I was overwhelmed to see the owning and the devotion of that old lady.  We 34 of  the Jeevan Vritis were in Swami Chidbhavananda Ashram near Theni in Tamil Nadu as a part of 7 days Kendra Abhyas Shibir. Dear sisters and brothers, we need to cultivate the feeling of owning in our students and staff so that we progress fast in our work and mission.

When look back to the month just gone by, feel greatly happy as the month has witnessed great achievements and of course   some sorrowful moments also.
