The inaugural function was presided over by Adaraneeya Shri. Vasudeo ji, Prakalpa Sangatak, VK-NARDEP in the presence of Kendra functionaries and local participants. Shri. Vijayaraghavan Anna, Vyavastha Pramukh, VK-NARDEP welcomed the gathering and spoke on the significance of Universal Brotherhood Day in relation to service activities. The event was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
The camp was conducted under the expertise of Dr. M. Muthushanthi, Dr. Indhu, and Dr. Jayamathi, who provided Siddha consultations and health guidance to the attendees. In addition to traditional consultation, essential health assessments such as blood sugar testing, blood pressure monitoring, and other vital blood tests were carried out to ensure holistic healthcare support.
A total of 82 people attended the camp and received treatment and guidance. Free medicines were supplied to all beneficiaries, sponsored by SAV Pharmacy and AVN Pharmacy, Kanyakumari. This initiative ensured that the camp provided not just consultation but also tangible medical support.
Organizers emphasized that the medical camp was an expression of Swami Vivekananda’s message of service to humanity as service to God. By aligning healthcare activity with Universal Brotherhood Day, the programme highlighted how wellness, compassion, and community care form an integral part of strengthening bonds within society.
