विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस कार्यक्रम – दुर्ग-भिलाई

दिनांक 13 सितम्बर 2025 को सेठ आर.सी.एस. आर्ट्स एंड कॉमर्स कॉलेज की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई एवं विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा दुर्ग-भिलाई के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में एक कार्यक्रम महाविद्यालय के सभागार में आयोजित हुआ। यह आयोजन स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी के 11 सितम्बर 1893 शिकागो विश्व धर्म सभा में दिए गए ऐतिहासिक भाषण की स्मृति में किया गया।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता श्री प्रतीक शर्मा (अधिवक्ता एवं विभाग संचालकविवेकानन्द केन्द्र छत्तीसगढ़) रहेजिन्होंने स्वामीजी के शिकागो भाषण पर प्रकाश डालते हुए ज्ञानधर्म एवं चरित्र के महत्व पर व्याख्यान प्रस्तुत किया।

महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्य डॉ. पूजा मल्होत्रा ने विवेकानन्द जी की कविताओं और शिकागो धर्मसभा पर अपने विचार साझा किए। रितुमणि दीदी (जीवनव्रती कार्यकर्तामध्य प्रांत संगठन) ने विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी की गतिविधियों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। श्रीमती रोहिणी पाटनकर (प्रमुखविवेकानन्द केन्द्र शाखा दुर्ग-भिलाई) ने छात्रों को केंद्र से जोड़ने हेतु एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला आयोजन की घोषणा की।

श्री विजय सोनी (अधिवक्ता एवं संपर्क प्रमुखविवेकानन्द केन्द्र दुर्ग-भिलाई) ने ओजस्वी गीत प्रस्तुत किया। वहीं डॉ. डी.पी. मिश्रा (प्राध्यापकवी.आई.टी. दुर्ग) ने विद्यार्थियों को केंद्र से जोड़ने के उद्देश्य से एक ऑनलाइन प्रश्नोत्तरी का आयोजन किया।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्री कौशल साहू ने किया। इस अवसर पर राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई के स्वयंसेवकछात्र-छात्राएंकार्यक्रम अधिकारी एवं समस्त प्राध्यापकगण की उपस्थिति रही।

Universal Brotherhood Day Festival - VK Patna

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी की पटना शाखा द्वारा "विश्व बन्धुत्व दिवस" का आयोजन 11 सितम्बर 2025 बिहार विधान सभा के सभागार में किया गया। यह दिवस 11 सितम्बर 1893 को शिकागो धर्म संसद में स्वामी विवेकानन्द द्वारा दिए गए ऐतिहासिक भाषण की स्मृति में प्रतिवर्ष मनाया जाता है।


कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि बिहार के राज्यपाल श्री आरिफ मोहम्मद खान रहें। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि विवेकानन्द का “विश्व बंधुत्व” संदेश आज भी अत्यंत प्रासंगिक है। शिकागो में उनके द्वारा उच्चारित शब्द “Sisters and Brothers of America” सम्पूर्ण मानवता को जोड़ने वाला उद्घोष था। धर्मों के संदर्भ में सार्वभौमिक स्वीकृति एकमात्र भारतीय संस्कृति में ही निहित है। आगे माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा कि आज हमारा विश्व युद्ध, आतंकवाद, जलवायु परिवर्तन और सामाजिक-आर्थिक असमानता जैसी अनेक चुनौतियों से जूझ रहा है। ऐसे में विवेकानन्द का यह विचार कि “सभी धर्म सत्य की ओर ले जाने वाले मार्ग हैं” हमें सहयोग और समन्वय की दिशा दिखाता है। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से युवाओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि नई पीढ़ी को केवल कैरियर ही नहीं, बल्कि कैरेक्टर निर्माण पर भी ध्यान देना चाहिए।
इस अवसर पर विशिष्ट अतिथि पद्मश्री डॉ. आर. एन. सिंह (वरिष्ठ हड्डी रोग विशेषज्ञ, बिहार), श्री डी. एन. गौतम (भूतपूर्व आरक्षी महानिदेशक, बिहार), मा. रूपेश माथुर (अरुणाचल प्रदेश प्रान्त संगठक), डॉ. निर्मल श्रीवास्तव (नगर संरक्षक) और श्री ज्ञानेश्वर शर्मा (बिहार-झारखण्ड प्रान्त व्यवस्था प्रमुख) मंचासीन अतिथियों के रूप  उपस्थित रहकर इस उत्सव की शोभा बढ़ायें। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता बिहार विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री नन्द किशोर यादव ने की।

राज्यपाल ने विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, पटना शाखा द्वारा संचालित युवा भारत कार्यक्रम की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि प्रतियोगिताएँ, कार्यशालाएँ, विशेषज्ञ संवाद और Leadership Development Camp जैसी पहलें युवाओं के व्यक्तित्व विकास और राष्ट्र-निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे रही हैं। महाविद्यालयों में विवेकानन्द केन्द्र द्वारा संचालित होने वाले युवा भारत पोस्टर का उन्होंने उद्घाटन किया।

कार्यक्रम में पटना शहर के लगभग 475 से भी अधिक की संख्या में युवाओं, बुद्धिजीवियों और समाजसेवियों ने भाग लिया और स्वामी विवेकानन्द के विश्व बन्धुत्व संदेश को आत्मसात करने का संकल्प लिया।

Universal Brotherhood Day and Book Launch Ceremony – Wardha

On September 11, 2025, a grand four-fold event was organized with great enthusiasm by Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari – Wardha Branch in collaboration with Satyanarayan Bajaj Public Library, Wardha. The event included:

  • Celebration of Universal Brotherhood Day

  • A book release ceremony

  • An inspiring lecture

  • Felicitation of dedicated volunteers (Sevavratis)

  • Recognition of talented youth speakers


The event was presided over by Shri Bharatji Joshi, Vidarbha Region Head, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.

During the program, Padma Shri Dr. Vilasji Dangre, President of Narkesari Publications and a renowned Homeopathy expert, was honored by the Kendra. In his response to the felicitation, Dr. Dangre expressed his gratitude to the Wardha branch and shared his thoughts on Swami Vivekananda’s historic speech in Chicago.

The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Lakheshwarji Chandravanshi, Editor of Kendra Bharati, Vivekananda Kendra Hindi Publication Department, Jodhpur. He delivered a powerful and inspiring talk, elaborating on the significant events from Swami Vivekananda’s life.

All the karyakartas (volunteers) of the Wardha Nagar branch were present at the event, along with approximately 125 eminent citizens from Wardha city.

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस – छत्तीसगढ़ विभाग

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र छत्तीसगढ़ विभाग के अंतर्गत दिनांक 11 सितम्बर 2025 को कुल 18 स्थानों पर विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का आयोजन किया गया। इन सभी आयोजनों में मिलाकर लगभग 10,000 सहभागी उपस्थित रहे

  • बिलासपुर – 9 स्थानों पर कार्यक्रमजिनमें लखीराम अग्रवाल सभागार में एक विशेष आयोजन हुआ। इस अवसर पर अटल बिहारी वाजपेई विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ. अरुण दिवाकर नाथ वाजपेई मुख्य वक्ता रहे।
  • रायपुर – दुर्गा कॉलेज में आयोजन हुआजिसमें माननीय राज्यपाल रमेन डेका जी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे।
  • दुर्ग – 1 स्थान पर कार्यक्रम।
  • जांजगीर-चांपा – 4 स्थानों पर कार्यक्रम।
  • पेंड्रा – 1 स्थान पर कार्यक्रम।
  • मुंगेली – 2 स्थानों पर कार्यक्रम।

इस प्रकारछत्तीसगढ़ विभाग के विभिन्न जिलों में उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरण में कुल 18 स्थानों पर विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस मनाया गयाजिसमें स्वामी विवेकानन्द के सार्वभौमिक संदेश को जन-जन तक पहुँचाया गया।

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस कार्यक्रम – गोधरा

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, कार्यस्थान गोधरा के सौजन्य से श्री सार्वजनिक कॉमर्स कॉलेज में विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस का आयोजन हुआ। इस वर्ष का विषय था — “Love India! Think Global, Act Local”

कार्यक्रम में आदरणीय तेजसभाई पंड्या (विभाग युवा प्रमुख) ने मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया। इसी अवसर पर Ignited Youth Forum का पोस्टर विधिवत रूप से लॉन्च किया गया तथा 18 विद्यार्थियों की एक समिति का गठन किया गया।

इस प्रेरणादायी कार्यक्रम में लगभग 100 विद्यार्थियों ने सहभागिता की और स्वामी विवेकानन्द के सार्वभौम संदेश से स्वयं को जोड़ने का संकल्प लिया।

Universal Brotherhood Day: Yuva Samwad programme & Yuva Bharat Abhiyan Launch at Ranchi

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Bihar Jharkhand Prant, Ranchi Vibhag, Ranchi Branch, in collaboration with Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University, organized a Yuva Samwad (Youth Dialogue) Program on the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day, on 11th September 2025, at the university auditorium from 11 AM.

The program was graced by Dr. Nitin Madan Kulkarni, Additional Chief Secretary to the Honorable Governor of Jharkhand, who addressed the gathering as the chief speaker. In a podcast-style dialogue with Dr. Anand Kr. Thakur, Professor, Department of Zoology, Ranchi University, Dr. Kulkarni engaged in an insightful discussion on Swami Vivekananda’s message for the youth, its relevance in today’s context, career development, and personality growth. Students were given the opportunity to raise questions directly, to which Dr. Kulkarni responded with lively examples and cheerful interaction. His words left the young audience inspired and motivated.

During the event, the second phase of the Yuva Bharat Abhiyan was launched, with a focus on leadership development and social awareness among the youth. The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Hemendra Kumar Bhagat, Registrar of Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University. Shri Vikas Kumar Sinha, Nagar Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra, Ranchi, encouraged students by presenting certificates to participants of Yuva Bharat. Shri Divyanshu Pandey, Vibhag Coordinator of Yuva Bharat Abhiyan, shared details of the campaign.

The program witnessed the participation of 212 participants, including 170 students, yuva volunteers, and city dignitaries. As a positive outcome, 38 youths registered to join the Yuva Bharat Abhiyan.

Teachers’ Day and Onam Celebration at VKV Vallioor

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Vallioor (VKV-Vallioor), celebrated Teachers’ Day and Onam on 8th September 2025 in the school premises with the participation of 875 students.

The programme commenced at 11.30 am in the presence of distinguished guests. The Chief Guest was Dr. ThamaraiselviPresident of the Inner Wheel Club of Vallioor, accompanied by Special Guests Dr. Shama, M.B.B.S., (ISO, Inner Wheel Club of Vallioor), Smt. Jency Rajesh (Secretary, Inner Wheel Club of Vallioor), and Shri S. Sudhir Kanthan (Ex-President, Rotary Club of Vallioor). The function was presided over by Shri S.K. Subramanian, Correspondent, VKV Vallioor.

The Teachers’ Day celebration began with prayer, reflecting the Indian tradition of invoking blessings at the start of any event. A total of 32 student-teachers prepared a timetable and conducted classes for Standards V to VIII, taking up the role of their teachers with creativity and dedication. Their innovative teaching methods were well appreciated, and winners among them were recognized with prizes. Teachers were also honoured with complements by the management as a mark of gratitude for their guidance and contribution.

On the same day, the harvest festival of Kerala—Onam—was celebrated with equal enthusiasm. Students brought flower petals and, along with staff, created a vibrant Pookolam (floral carpet) in the school portico. The colourful floral design symbolized peace, prosperity, love, harmony, ethics, and reverence for nature. Cultural presentations included students dressed as Mahabali and Vamana, enacting the story of Mahabali Moksha under the blessings of Lord Vishnu.

The dual celebration highlighted gratitude towards teachers and the rich cultural heritage of Onam, inspiring the students with values of respect, unity, and tradition.

Shankhnaad at Bhavnagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Gujarat Prant, Bhavnagar Vibhag, Bhavnagar Branch, in collaboration with Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University and Ignited Youth Forum, Bhavnagar successfullyorganized Shankhnaad programme on 7th September 2025 at M.J. College of Commerce, Bhavnagar. The programme, held from 10.15 am to 1.45 pm, witnessed enthusiastic participation with 140 students competing in various events designed to inspire creativity, knowledge, and awareness.


The competitions included Arise Awake (80 participants), Bharat Ko Jano (32 participants), Essay Writing (37 participants), Reel Making (8 participants), and Poster Making (12 participants). Each event was judged by eminent personalities and faculty members, ensuring fair evaluation and valuable feedback. Dr. Indra Bhai Gadhvi, Shri Jaydeepsinh Dodia, and Shri Jay Bhai Nirmal evaluated the Reel Making competition, while Shri Rajubhai Rathod, Shri Shailesh Bhai Dhabhi, and Shri Ajay Bhai judged the Poster Making competition.

A dedicated team of 35 student organizers meticulously planned and executed the event, showcasing leadership, coordination, and commitment. Their collective efforts ensured smooth conduct of the competitions and created a spirited environment of learning and sharing.

Shankhnaad emerged as a vibrant platform where students expressed their creativity, talents, and knowledge while imbibing a spirit of unity and purpose. The event concluded successfully, leaving a memorable impact on participants and attendees alike. The contribution of the organizers, volunteers, and judges was highly commendable in making the programme meaningful and impactful.

Universal Brotherhood Day : Competitions for Students at Hebbal

 

In connection with Universal Brotherhood Day, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Hebbal Branch organized Cultural Competitions at Vinayaka Sunrise School, Coffee Board Layout, Hebbal, on September 6, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A total of 156 students from 8 schools in and around Kempapura participated enthusiastically in the event.

The competitions were held in the categories of Swamiji’s Chicago Speech, Swamiji’s Quotations, Essay on the Life of Swamiji, and Patriotic Group Songs. The participants showcased their talents with dedication and devotion. Certificates were awarded to all participants, which further encouraged their spirit.

The program was well organized and served as an inspiring prelude to the Universal Brotherhood Day celebrations.

Teachers’ Day Celebration at Mysore

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Mysore Branch celebrated Teachers’ Day at the Kendra Karyalaya in Mysore on September 5, 2025. The program was attended by 20 participants, including students of Vasati Nilaya, computer class students, and teachers.

The program began with Omkara and Sahanavavatu chanting, anchored by Shri Nishanth. Shri Mahadevaswamy welcomed the gathering, followed by a Guru Bhajan presented by Ms. Sowmya Didi. Smt. Bhagya didi delivered a speech on the importance of teachers, and Smt. Meena Didi, Anandalaya teacher, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Shri Shreyas delivered the vote of thanks.

The celebration concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra and the Kendra Prarthana, marking a reverent and meaningful tribute to teachers.

Grand Thiruvilakku Puja at Rameswaram Temple

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu Prant, Rural Development Programme (VKRDP), Ramanathapuram District, Thiruppullani branch, organised a majestic Thiruvilakku Puja (Deepa Puja) on 3rd September 2025, at the historic Arulmigu Sri Parvathavardhini Sametha Ramanathaswamy Temple, Rameswaram.


The event began with the lighting of the Thiruvilakku (sacred lamp) by Mananeeya Shri. Hanumantharao ji, All India Vice President of Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Vivekananda Kendra (VRM & VK), along with Dr. Niraimathi Manoj Kumar and respected officers from the police department.

Following this, Kum. Naga Jyothi, Senior Social Worker, welcomed the gathering with a heartfelt address. The divine atmosphere was further elevated when Mananeeya Shri. Hanumantharao ji offered his aasirvachan (blessings). Adarneeya Shri. Ayyappan Anna, Sah Prant Sangatak – Tamil Nadu and Prakalp Sangatak – RDP, also addressed the devotees and inspired them with his words.

The grandeur of the puja was marked by the participation of over 2007 women, hailing not just from Ramanathapuram district but also from many other southern districts. With deep devotion, they lit lamps in unison inside the third corridor of the sacred temple, creating a spectacular sight of radiance and faith.

Devotees collectively prayed for the prosperity of the nation, the preservation of India’s cultural heritage, the welfare of the world, and the survival of humanity.

The arrangements for the ceremony were shouldered by the dedicated Kendra sisters Kum. Naga Jyothi Akka, Smt. Vijayarani Akka, Smt. Bhagyalakshmi Akka, and Kum. Saraswathi Akka, Coordinator of Green Rameswaram, VK Nardep, along with a team of Kendra well-wishers and volunteers, ensuring the smooth and devotional conduct of the event.
