Samartha Bharat Parva Celebration at Kallubalu

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Kallubalu Nagarasthan celebrated Samartha Bharat Parva on 09th January 2026 at the Anandalaya in Kallubalu, from 6:10 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A total of 39 participants, comprising 34 students, 2 parents, and 3 Acharyas, were present for the programme.

The celebration was observed through a Bhajan Sandhya, which created a devotional and inspiring atmosphere among the participants. During the programme, discussions were held with the students and Acharyas on the importance of bhajans in nurturing devotion, discipline, and collective harmony. The session helped deepen the participants’ understanding of the role of bhajans in spiritual and cultural development, aligning with the spirit and ideals of Samartha Bharat Parva.

Samartha Bharat Parva celebration and Dhuni Puja 2025 at Durgapur

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, West Bengal Prant, Paschimbanga Prant, Shanti Niketan Vibhag, Durgapur Nagar organized the Samartha Bharat Parva celebration and Dhuni Puja at Vivekananda Uddyan, M.A.M.C., Durgapur Nagar, on 25th December 2025. A total of 86 people attended the event.

Samartha Bharat Parva celebrates the strength of India, observed from 25th December—the first day of Swami Vivekananda's meditation on the rock in 1892—to 12th January, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

On the night of 24th December 1886, following the Mahasamadhi of their beloved Guru Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa on 16th August 1886, Swami Vivekananda and his brother disciples gathered and took their informal vows of sanyasa around a sacred fire at Antpur on 24 December 1886, which was followed by formal vows in January 1887 at Baranagar Math. The Dhuni Puja is celebrated to commemorate that historic event. The flame of the Dhuni symbolizes purity, renunciation, and the eternal spirit of service and sacrifice that Swamiji carried throughout his life.

The program was blessed by the honorable presence of Mananeeya Shri Hanumantha Rao Ji, All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. In front of the sacred flame lit before the statue of Swami Vivekananda, all participants gathered with deep devotion and reverence. They offered oblations and took a heartfelt vow to dedicate themselves to the service of society and the nation, following Swamiji's vision. The event concluded with the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana. Prasadam was distributed to all attendees.

Samartha Bharat Parva Celebration at VKV Kanyakumari

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari (VKV Kanyakumari) started the Samartha Bharat Parva Celebrations on 25th December 2025 at 9.30 a.m., with the participation of 120 students and staff members. The programme was organized with the objective of instilling desh bhakti and spreading the message of national strength and cultural pride inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

The celebration commenced with a warm welcome address by teacher Smt. P. Umaselvi who explained the significance and purpose of observing Samartha Bharat Parva. This was followed by the collective singing of Vande Mataram by all the participants, creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere. Smt. Shantha Kumari, Balwadi Teacher, spoke on the importance of Samartha Bharat Parva and highlighted its relevance in nurturing a sense of responsibility towards the nation.

As part of the programme, Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring thoughts were shared in both Tamil and English by Smt. Subbulekshmi and Smt. Jeyalekshmi respectively, enabling students to connect with his message across languages. Bharat Mata Aarati was then performed, followed by the offering of pooja to Bharat Mata, reinforcing the spiritual and nationalistic spirit of the occasion.

The programme concluded with the Kendra Prarthana and Prasadam was distributed to all the participants. As a continuation of the Samartha Bharat Parva observance, Vande Mataram will be sung daily during the school assembly from 5 January to 12 January 2026 after the reopening of the school.

Samartha Bharat Parva Special Lecture at Madurai

 As a part of Samartha Bharat Parva celebrations, Vivekananda Kendra Madurai organised an online lecture program for the students of N.M.S. Sermathai Vasan College for Women, on 11.01.2021 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Total number of 150 students attended the program.

The program started with prayer. Dr. S. Geetha, Tamil Nadu Vibhag Sampark Pramukh presented a short PPT on ‘Swami Vivekananda, The Prophet of the New Millennium’ in which she expounded the contemporary relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s message. It was followed by the presentation on ‘Samartha Bharat Parva’ in which she described the greatness and contribution of Bharat to the world in past and present. The students were introduced to some of the great personalities of Bharat from all ages who contributed to the advancement of humanity in all fields. The presentation inspired the students to work to make country Samartha for guiding the world. The program was concluded with vote of thanks from college side.

Run with Vivek Jyoti on Samartha Bharat Parva at Durgapur

 On Samartha Bharat Parva Vivekananda Kendra, Durgapur Nagar was organised a run with Vivek Jyoti on 12th January from Vivekananda Udyan .

Program was started with the Nagar Parikrama with Vivek-Joyti. Total 65 sisters and Brothers were participated in the auspicious run and  covered Apx. 10 km area around the city. During the run slogan's of Swami ji was given and the mother's were welcomed the karyakartas by blowing Sankha and with flowers in different places.

Total 145 audience was present in the Karyakram.

पानीपत मे राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस आयोजन

स्वामी विवेकानंद जी के जन्मदिवस पर विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा पानीपत की ओर से 12 जनवरी 2020 को एक विचार गोष्ठी व कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया यह कार्यक्रम  अपोलो इंटरनेशनल स्कूल  संभालखा (पानीपत) के सभागार में संपन्न हुआ। कार्यक्रम में संभालखा के विधायक धर्मपाल सिंह छोकर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में  मौजूद रहे।  डॉ अशोक बतरा जी ने स्वामी विवेकानन्द के जीवन से प्रेरणादायी घटनाएं बताई। अलकागौरी, प्रांत संगठक हरियाणा और पंजाब ने विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक के 50 वर्ष और विवेकानन्द केन्द्र की गतिविधियों के विषय में अवगत कराया। देश के जाने-माने कवि योगेंद्र मोदगिल (पानीपत), सौरव कांत शर्मा (चंदौसी), सौरव सैनी (अलवर),  सत्यपाल सत्यम (मेरठ), दिनेश सिंघल (जोधपुर), अशोक बत्रा (सोनीपत)  जी ने काव्य पाठ किया।  कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित लोगों की संख्या 250 की रही। पानीपत शाखा से नगर संयोजक सुशील चहल सह संयोजक बहन रजनी व अन्य कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।

गुरुग्राम मे राष्ट्रिय युवा दिन के उपलक्ष मे कार्यक्रम

स्वामी विवेकानंद जयंती के उपलक्ष पर 11 जनवरी 2020 को विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा गुरुग्राम के द्वारा द्रोणाचार्य राजकीय महाविद्यालय में भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें सभी विद्यार्थियों ने बढ़ चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया जिसमें कुल संख्या 104थी । एवं विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी के द्वारा चलाए जा रहे संपर्क अभियान के तहत राकेश दौलताबाद विधायक बादशाहपुर विधानसभा से संपर्क किया गया जिसमें उन्हें विवेकानंद शिला स्मारक और केंद्र  के द्वारा किए जा रहे सामाजिक कार्यों के बारे में अवगत कराया गया।

National Youth Day Celebration at Sonipat

Vivekananda Kendra( kanyakumari) Sonipat  organized Speech-Cum-Declamation competition on the occasion of "Samarth Bharat Parv"  in GVM Girls College, Sonipat on 11th Jan 2020, Wherein, over 100 young and inspired minds participated. Total 22-odd students delivered exceptionally wonderful Speeches and recited Poems on the teachings and inspirational incidents from life of Swami Vivekananda. Each participant was given two day's time to prepare their contents from given literature. Participants were allowed to speak for 5-minutes each and a committee of 3-Judges evaluated their performances. Based on the ratings of the Judges 6-students were selected for the prizes. Winners were given trophies along with literature on swami ji, Picture and booklets on "Rock -Memorial" and Booklet on Introduction of Vivekananda Kendra and its activities. The  Swaadhyay Group students organised whole event. The event was concluded with 10-minutes speech by Convener- Vivekananda Kendra ( Kanyakumari) Sonipat Branch on  Rock-Memorial and Mananiya Eknath Ranade Ji followed by vote of thanks by the Principal. Total 123 people were present in the event including Vivekanada Kendra Sonipat karyakartas and college teaching staff. Dr. P. M. Gaur Director Sahitya Academy Govt. of Haryana and Principal Of Ms. Jyoti Juneja presided-over the event.

National Youth Day Celebration at Janakpuri Nagar (Paschimi Vibhag)

“Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached” are few of many inspirational words which are lived and preached by Swamiji and till now carry the power to lead mankind. With this inspiration, Janakpuri Nagar, in association with RWA Govt. Press colony, celebrated the 157th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, at Swami Vivekananda Park, Mayapuri, New Delhi.

On the occasion, members of RWA, residents of govt. press and nearby colony, and karyakartas from Janakpuri Nagar were present. Presence of around 50 people were observed. Program was scheduled for 09 – 10 in the morning. Karyakartas were present before an hour for necessary preparations. Program started off with 3 omkars and Shanti mantra followed by yogabhayas. As, swamiji gave the importance to a healthy body with the need of mental fitness, program was framed contained shithlikaran and suryanamaskar. Games were also being played like ghoomta kila, and pathhar daud. This was followed by geet “dhram ke liye jiye…” taken in lead and follow. Later, Trivendrum ji and Naresh ji shared in few words about Swamiji’s life and work. Neema didi shared knowledge of Kendra’s work and  activities. Sh. Surendra Vashishtha ji (Vice-president of RWA) spoke words of thanks and called for pursuing such activities in the park. Book stall was also put up from where people got the chance of purchasing related literatures of swamiji.
Program ended with Shanti mantra and Kendra prarthana.

समर्थ भारत पर्व एवं विवेकानन्द जयंती का असम में कार्यक्रम

"समर्थ भारत पर्व" के उपलक्ष्य में असम के आनंदालय प्रकल्प के अंतर्गत विभिन्न चाय बागानों में "भजन संध्या एवं स्वामी विवेकानन्द जयन्ती" कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। जैसा कि हमे ज्ञात है कि शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य एवं संस्कृति के क्षेत्र में 2004 से असम में सेवारत विवेकानन्द केन्द्र का 'आनंदालय' प्रकल्प चाय बागानों एवं ग्रामीण बस्तियों में निवास कर रहें विभिन्न जनजातियों के सर्वागींण विकास के लिए संचालित किया जाता है। आनंदालय में बच्चें कहानी, खेल-कूद, गीत, पाठ-दान के बाद शाम को पुनः अपने अभिभावकों के साथ भजन संध्या के लिए एक साथ इस विशिष्ट पर्व की अवधि में उपस्थित हुयें। 25 दिसंबर 2019  से 12जनवरी 2020 तक ग्राम समिति सदस्य, बच्चों के अलग-अलग दिन करते हुए महिला सदस्यों के विशेष योगदान से भजन संध्या के माध्यम से अमृत सुरभि का भी कार्यक्रम किया गया। ॐ कार की छवि, दान में प्राप्त अन्न एवं दीपक के सम्मुख व्यवस्थित रूप से उपस्थित होकर गुरु, गणेश, शिव, देवी, राम, कृष्ण, मिश्र & जनजातीय गीत बच्चों, आचार्यो और अभिभावकों के द्वारा गाया गया तथा अंत में स्वामीजी द्वारा किया गया अद्भुत ध्यान & भारतवर्ष की सामर्थ्यता व गौरवशाली गाथा का वर्णन कोई एक जन द्वारा किया गया। 12 जनवरी को विवेकानन्द जयन्ती के दिन प्रायः सभी  आनंदालयों में "भारत माता पूजन" कार्यक्रम किया गया। जिसमें अखण्ड भारतवर्ष की भौगोलिक मानचित्र बनाते हुए दीपक रखकर पूजा अर्चना करते हुए राष्ट्र रक्षा का संकल्प लिया गया। वीर महापुरुष की जीवनी प्रसंग एवं भारतमाता की आरती के उपरांत जयघोष लगाया गया। कार्यक्रम की ऐसी ही कार्यसूची (रुपरेखा) प्रायः सभी जगह समान रही। निम्नलिखित स्थानों पर कार्यक्रम आयोजित किएँ गयें-

धार में राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस का कार्यक्रम

धार, प्रकृति का रक्षण, सभी की जिम्मेदारी है तथा यह कार्य जैविक कृषि उपायों से ही संभव है।  यह उद्गार प्रसिद्ध कृषि वैज्ञानिक अजित केलकर ने यहाँ विवेकानंद केन्द्र, कन्याकुमारी शाखा धार की व्याख्यानमाला में व्यक्त किये। राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस पर श्री केलकर ने  "आधात्मक प्रेरित सेवा एवं वैदिक कृषि चिंतन" विषय पर उद्बोधन देते हुए कहा कि प्रकृति का ज्ञान सरल व सहज है। पहले भूमि को अवांछनिय रसायनो से मुक्त करिये, जिससे धरती माँ को राहत स्वतः ही मिल सकेगी। उन्होने अनेक आधात्मिक अवधारणा को समझाते हुए, कृषि के विभिन्न आयामों से उनको जोड़ा। श्री केलकर ने उपस्थित श्रौताओं जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में कृषक भी उपस्थित थे, खेती तथा भूमि से संबंधित वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण को समझा कर, पर्यावरण की चुनौतियों के लिए भी सजग किया। व्याख्यानमाला के पूर्व षिला स्मारक पर आधारित फिल्म का प्रदर्षन भी किया गया। कार्यक्रम अध्यक्षता लबरावदा ग्राम के वैदिक कृषक नरैन्द्र सिंह राठौर ने की। मंच पर केन्द्र के सह संचालक सुरेष राजपूरोहित भी उपस्थित थे।

पूर्व में कार्यक्रम का आरंभ अतिथियों द्वारा पुष्पार्पण से हुआ। तीन ओमकार प्रार्थना हितांषी ठाकुर ने गायी। अतिथि परिचय अभिनंदन सिंह तँवर ने दिया। अतिथि स्वागत सुरेष राजपूरोहित, गिरीष वड़नेरकर, गोविंद अग्रवाल व अविनाष ठाकुर ने किया। गीत सुनील सुपेकर ने प्रस्तुत किया। शांति मंत्र कुं. अंजलि ने गाया। संचालन मोहन कडूसकर ने किया तथा अंत में आभार नवीन राठौर ने माना।

कार्यक्रम में ही अतिथियों द्वारा स्थानीय आनंद वात्सल्य आश्रम, पीपलखेड़ा की वार्षिक पत्रिका ‘आश्रमवाणी’ का विमोचन भी किया गया।  सहयोग ट्रस्ट अध्यक्ष उदय वडनेरकर, सचिव सरदार सिंह तँंवर व भारत सिंह दसौंधी ने किया। उल्लेखनीय है कि नगर में उक्त व्याख्यानमाला सन् 1968 से आयोजित होती है तथा इसमें अनेक प्रसिद्ध वक्ता उद्बोधन दे चुके है। इस अवसर पर विधायक श्रीमति नीना वर्मा, सहित अनेक गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित थे ।

Samarth Bharat Parva and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Report at Hydrabad

Vivekananda Kendra Nagole organized Samarth Bharat Parva presentation in 1). Brilliant grammar High School, Bandlaguda at 10am and (2) Kakatiya High School , Central Bank Colony,Mansurabad, Nagole , (3) Little masters high school, Fathullaguda, Nagole - schools reaching out to over    800 students. Nagar Sanchalak Heeralalji, Nagar Pramukh Srinivasuluji, Nagar Vyavastha Pramukh Yadagiri Reddy were present in all the places.

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti/National Youth Day was organized on 11th January 2019 at Hyderabad Central University along with Vivekananda Forum of the University. University Professors, students – 20 in number -and Kendra Karyakartas were present.

On 12th January, SV Jayanti was organized by VK Kaushalam with the local panchayat at Kismatpur village were over 100 people including MLA and Sarpanch and Kendra karyakartas.

In Kendriya Vihar, 25 participated in SV Jayanti program.

At BIRED –Banking Institute of Rural Entrepreneur Development, Kismatpur – 150 students listened to the speech by Prakap sanghatak Sri Srinivas.

At Karyasthan Gajularamam, over 200 people, including children and adults, participated in a rally, garlanding of Swamiji’s statue and public program for National Youth day.

At VK Dilsukhnagar, 200 students, karyakartas and general public attended morning rally followed by workshop for students where Scientist Padmasri N Divakar and Ward member Smt. Swarnalata addressed the gathering and gave the prizes. Vibhag Sanchalak Sri Ramaraju, Vibhag Pramukh Sri Sudhakar Reddy, Vibhag Sanghatak Sri Deepak Khaire and Nagar Pramukh Dr. Komalamba were present.

At Nagole, Geeta saptah concluded where over 50 people had participated. The Jayanti Program was attended by over 200 students and karyakartas and was addressed by Sri Nageswara Garu. Nagar Sanchalak Heeralalji, Nagar Pramukh Srinivasuluji, Nagar Vyavastha Pramukh Yadagiri Reddy were present.

पटना में पुष्पांजली कार्यक्रम

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी पटना शाखा द्वारा विवेकनन्द जयंती के अवसर पर पटना महानगर में पुष्पांजली कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया| ये कार्यक्रम नगर के गली, मोहल्लों,चौराहा और पार्कों में आयोजित किये गए | इन कार्यक्रमों में अधिक से अधिक संख्या में नगर के नगरवासियों ने भाग लिया साथ ही साथ प्रत्येक स्थान पर केंद्र के कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा स्वामी जी की जीवनी पर प्रकाश डाला गया |

नगर के गणमान्य जनों नें पुष्पांजली कार्यक्रमों की सरहाना की और कहा की ये कार्यक्रम अधिक से अधिक स्थानों पर आयोजित होने चाहिए ताकि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति स्वामी विवेकानन्द के बारे में जाने और उन जैसा बनने का प्रयास करे | पुष्पांजलि कार्यक्रमों को 3 स्थानों पर आयोजित किया गया जिसमें नगर के 6800 से भी अधिक नगर वासियों ने पुष्पांजलि किया कार्यक्रम का समापन भारत माता की जय और स्वामी विवेकानन्द की जय से किया गया |

Annual Day, Vivekananda jayanti,, National youth day and Inauguration of Science Center at VKV Vallioor

Vivekananda Jayanthi was observed on 12th January 2017. The combinations of four celebrations (Vivekananda Jayanthi, School Annual Day, National Youth day.

The Inauguration of Mini Science Center)   were celebrated together.  Sri. NELLAI S. MUTHU  Former Scientist, ISRO, NCSTC – National Awardee for Science Popularization was the chief guest. Sri S. Ayyappanji, Secretary of RDP, Vivekananda Kendra Sri. Subramanian, Smt. Shanmuga vadivu, Trustees of Redington foundation were the special guests. Sri. S. Muthu  inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp & inaugurated our Mini Science Center, Sponsored by Redington foundation.  Speeches on the greatness of Bharath, Views of Swami Vivekananda on Mother Bharat, Greatness of Thirukkural, Aim of students, Discipline of students and the improvement of science were presented by the chief guest.  Rs. 10,000/- awarded to the top scorer in std XII (G. Gayathri)  by Dr. Muthukrishnan, Eswari Nursing Home, Vallioor in the memory of Dr. Lakshmanan. The prizes were distributed for the outstanding performance of the students in the last academic year. One of our students R. Suman was honoured by the dignitaries for the state level achievement in sports event. Varieties of programmes like drama, dance, yoga, karate, silambam, skit etc. performed by the students exposed their efficiency.  Our  correspondent Shri. S.K. Subramanian organized the function.

Samarth Bharat Parva and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration at Borivali Mumbai

Vivekananda Kendra Borivali branch conduct Bhartiya Sanskriti Pariksha 2016 examinations for the students of various schools of Borivali and Dahisar on the life of Swami Vivekananda. The main intention of those examinations was that students should study the life of Swami Vivekananda and get inspirations from his life. We contacted around 15 schools and 8 colleges for this purpose out of which 8 schools and 7 colleges shown their interest in this activity. For each school /college 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes were announced for two categories i.e. 5th to 9th students and Jr. College. It was further  decided to give consolation prizes for the students  who studied hard and performed very well but could not secure rank in first three.Papers were set based on the life of Swami Vivekananda. Different papers were set for different standards i.e. for standard 5to 7, 8th and 9th, standard 11th onwards different papers were set. Further those papers were set in 3 languages i.e. Marathi, Hindi and English as per requirements of school /college. We received tremendous response to those examinations from schools /colleges. Around 1700 students had shown their willingness to appear in exams. The books based on which those papers were set were circulated to each and every student of the school /college before Divali vacation and it was decided to conduct exams from 21stNov. to 23rd Nov. 2016 after Diwali as per convenience of school /college. Those books were mainly from Vivekananda Kendra and Ramkrishna Math publications.

The prize Distribution for students was done in 2 phases. Firstly in school / college level where only certificates where given in front of students and teachers, Secondly prizes announced before the exam where given on vivekananda jayanti on 14th jan, 2017 on Makar sankranti day. Venue is shiv seva  ground, Rajendra nagar, Borivali East, Mumbai and Time is 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm. The chief guest for the program is shri. Rambrij Yadav ji (Babuji ) , Social worker and chief speaker is Ma. Vishwasji Lapalkar, Sanghatak maharshtra Prant. Program strated with 3 om, prathana. Then 3 Pratyakshik performed   on the stage . Suryanamskar by 14 students from Borivali sanskar varg, patriotic street play by 8 students of  LN College Borivali –E , Skit on message of Vivekananda by 7 students from Gorai Borivali –W Sanskar  varg. Then samuh Patriotic song by 8 Girl students of Gokhale college, Borivali-W. After that Sri Rajendra Bardeji, Sanyojak of Borivali branch given the introduction of vivekananda Kendra and its activities in brief. Then shri. Paranjpe, vivekananda Kendra karyakarta read the report of the Bhartiya sanskrti pariksha 2016 conducted by Borivali branch.After that Ma. Vishwasji lapalkar addressed the public on the message of vivekanada  to the youth and their contribution in the nation building. Vishwasjis whole hearted lecture inspired the gathering in which school / college principal were there. Then prizes were distributed to the students by  Babuji & Vishwasji. Program is concluded with shanti mantra. On special occasion of  Makar sankranti day Tilgul and tea are served to all. Total persons attended the program are 300.The atmosphere during event is energetic. Program arrangement were done by the students who gone to kanyakumari Yuva netrutva vikasan shibir 25-27 Dec 2016 from Borivali branch (2 colleges – LN & Gokhale college and all the karyakartas of VK Borivali.

Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration in Kangra

KANGRA : January 12 –  The life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda was more relevant today when the nation needed more spiritual strength to combat adverse forces from within and outside and Vivekananda Jayanti here  was focused on the younger generation in order to bring them close to their spiritual and cultural roots.

Prof. (Dr.) Yoginder Singh Verma Pro Vice Chancellor said this while addressing a well attended  public function in the auditorium of the local Government  polytechnic here today organized by Local  branch of Vivekananda Kendra Kanayakumari in connection with 154th  birthday of Swami Vivekananda. He said that the character of Swami Vivekananda was an inspiration to the youth and his teachings were contemporary. He said that youth could cultivate the qualities of courage and spiritual strength by following his teachings as his thoughts were very scientific in nature.He said that Swami Vivekananda generated spiritual awareness in the society inculcated patriotism among people.

Dr. B.K. Chander Shekhar Director of Education in India for Yoga Samaskrutam University Florida said that Swami Vivekananda is major source of inspiration being a matchless personality. He stressed on memory management which was part of the Vivekananda’s personality.

Swami Premananda of Govind Jeevan Ashram stressed on the youth to  adher to his teachings as these teachings were more relevant now in view of the present national and global scenario. He also stressed for becoming useful citizen and render good service to the humanity through this one can realize God.

Ashok Raina  of Vivekananda Kendra  described  the scenes of World Religious conference in his words  and said that four Nobel Laureates have wrote about the great saint Swami Vivekananda. He asked youths to come close to the literature of Swami Vivekananda.

Babar Singh, an INA freedom fighter who had been in India’s  freedom struggle with Neta Ji Subhash Chander Bose was honoured for his contribution in the freedom struggle. Babar singh 93, was accompanied by his wife Sawatri Devi.  He was honoured amid claps and was given standing ovation by the audience.

Fifty six   meritorious students of different schools  of Kangra and Mandi districts  too were given prizes who had ranked among first ten in each class of different schools in the MCQ test organized by the Kendra in November 20, last year in connection with Sadhna Devas.

The program was started with lighting of the lamp by guests  amid vedic Chanting following by Swarsati Vandna By Sunil Kumar Director Sangeet Music academy and culminated with Kendra Prathana. 

Samarth Bharat Parva Celebration in Mysore

 25th to 30th December  inter school and inter college Patriotic song, Song related to Swami Vivekananda , Devotional Song, Folk Song, Drawing, Rangoli and Quiz competitions held at Kendra, in which 286 students from 31 school and 20 parents participated.

KALPATARU DIWAS: On 1st January, 2017 observed Kalpataru Diwas. Adaraneeya Sri T N Prabhakarji, Retd. Secretary to College Education Dept, Karnataka talked importance of the day and Sri Venkataramnji, Well wisher presided the function. Smt Vasumati Didi sung the song related to Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. At the end prasada distributed.

7 Days SPECIAL YOGA SATRA for Alcohol Addict people at Mare Gowdana Halli, T Narasipura Taluk, in which 88 people attended from 27 villages. Breating exercise, loosening, Suryanamaskara, Assana &  Pranayama  and prayer and Bhajan are taught to them.

Swadhayaya Examination conducted on 2nd January, at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kallubalu,  in which 55 students attended . At Bharati Public school- 100 students, Sri Bharati Public school- 102 students and Vijaya Bharati Public school 6 students wrote the examination on book called “ incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda”.

 YOGA SATRA:  10 Days Yoga Satra started  with 89 participants at Bannur Sports Club, t Narsipura taluk on 8th January and concluded on 17th January. Prayers,  Breathing, Loosening,   Suryanamaskar, Asana, Pranayama, and Guided meditation taught.

VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI:  On 11th celebrated at Royal English school Samskara varga, in which 51 students from 2 samskara varga participated.  On 11th January, celebrated at  Nanjumalige vistara, in which 140 students from 4 Samskara varga and 16 parents attended. Sri Venkataramnji talked on Swami Vivekananda’s message to students. Sri Shivalingayya, presided the programme. Song by students and experience by Ravi Kumar.

On 12th morning celebrated at Bannuru in which 92 people attended. Aravinda Prasad talked on Swamiji, Ma. Ekanathji and Vivekananda Kendra and activities. Programme ended with Kendra prayer. Evening celebrated at Kendra Karyalaya, in which 84 people attended. Sri Laxminaryanji, well wisher and donor presided the function, Smt. Nagaratnammaji and Sri Gangadharanji was the chief guests. Sri Rameshji, Nagar Pramukh talked about Swamiji and Vivekananda Kendra and activities.

On 12th to 17th Swami Vivekananda Jayanti celebrated at 41 colleges as a YUVA SAPTAHA, in which different activities like quiz on Swamiji’s life, essay competition, patriotic song, painting, elocution etc.

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा अजमेर द्वारा विवेक सप्ताह के तहत मकर संक्रांति पर राजाकोठी स्कूल, गुलाबबाड़ी में विवेकानन्द जयन्ती समारोह मनाया गया

विद्यार्थी जीवन में हमारा दायित्व अच्छी तरह पढ़ाई करना है जिस से हम राष्ट्र के एक श्रेष्ठ विद्यार्थी सिद्ध हो सकें और एक अच्छे नागरिक बनकर भारत की भक्ति कर सकें। स्वामी विवेकानंद के जीवन से हमें यह शिक्षा मिलती है कि व्यक्ति चाहे अपने उत्कर्ष की पराकाष्ठा पर हो अथवा साधनों के अभाव में जी रहा हो उसे अपनी मातृभूमि के ऋण को कभी भूलना नहीं चाहिए। स्वामी विवेकानंद ने भारत के दरिद्र नारायण की सेवा को ही अपने जीवन का लक्ष्य बनाया और भारत माता के गौरव को पुनः स्थापित करने के लिए अपना पूरा जीवन लगा दिया। मकर संक्रांति के दिन स्वामी जी का जन्म हुआ था और इस दिन को भी स्वामी विवेकानंद जी की जयंती के रुप में मनाया जाता है। उक्त विचार विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी राजस्थान के प्रांत प्रशिक्षण प्रमुख डॉ. स्वतंत्र शर्मा ने राजकीय सीनियर सैकंडरी विद्यालय राजा कोठी, गुलाब बाड़ी में स्वामी विवेकानंद की जयंती के अवसर पर विवेक सप्ताह के दौरान व्यक्त किए। उन्होंने विद्वार्थियों का आह्वान किया कि आज के दिन हम संकल्प लें कि हमारे जीवन का प्रत्येक कार्य केवल भारत के लिए हो, हमारी पढ़ाई-लिखाई यहां तक कि हमारा सोना, खाना, जागना भी भारत की श्रेष्ठता के लिए हो तभी भारत पुनः विश्वगुरू बन सकता है।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में विवेकानन्द के जीवन पर आधारित प्रश्न पूछे गए जिसमें दिव्या अलूदिया, दुर्गा शेरा, भावना छानवाल, प्रेरणा टांक, भूमिका, तनिशा, नीता राव, सपना, कोमल गुर्जर तथा दित्या धारवाल ने पुरूस्कार प्राप्त किए। इस कार्यक्रम में विवेकानन्द केंद्र की अजमेर शाखा के नगर प्रमुख रविंद्र जैन, सह नगर प्रमुख अखिल शर्मा, कार्यालय प्रमुख राजरानी कुशवाहा एवं रीना सोनी भी उपस्थित थे। इससे पूर्व विद्यालय की प्राचार्य कच्छावा ने विवेकानंद केंद्र के बारे में बताया एवं अतिथियों का स्वागत किया |

समर्थ भारत पर्व पर विशेष समर्थ शिक्षक ही समर्थ भारत की आधारशिला

जीवन रोते हुए नहीं बल्कि समर्थता से जीना है। हमें प्रोफेशन का चयन तभी करना है जब उसे सार्थक करने की सामर्थ्य हमारे अंदर हो। स्वामी विवेकानन्द अनेक कष्टों को सहकर भारत के उत्थान का चिंतन अमेरिका में रहकर करते रहे। संपूर्ण भारत का उन्होंने भ्रमण किया। स्वामीजी ने भारत के बारे में कहा कि आज ज्ञान भूमि अंधकार में है और दारिद्रय में है और उसी समय उसे समर्थ बनाने का निर्णय किया। भारत किसी को कष्ट देकर विकास करने वाला देश नहीं है। यह अपनी आत्मीयता को विश्व में विस्तृत करने वाला देश है। स्वामी विवेकानन्द कहते हैं कि उठो और अपनी आध्यात्मिकता से विश्व को जीत लो। उक्त विचार समर्थ भारत पर्व के तहत अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर मनाए जा रहे कार्यक्रमों की श्रंखला में विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा अजमेर द्वारा भावी शिक्षकों को राष्ट्रनिर्माता के रूप में दायित्वबोध कराने के उद्देश्य से क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान के विद्यार्थियों के साथ विवेकानन्द केन्द्र की राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष सुश्री निवेदिता भिड़े ने संवाद के दौरान व्यक्त किए। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षक कभी भी अपने आपको हीन न समझे। शिक्षक अपने बच्चों को जीवन मूल्य देने में सक्षम हो तथा यह केवल पाठ पढ़ाने से नहीं होगा अपितु इसके लिए शिक्षक को आचरण करना पड़ेगा।शिक्षक को अपने बच्चों से प्रेम करना सीखना होगा जिससे वे उन्हें सन्मार्ग पर ले जाने के लिए प्रेरित कर सकें। इस संवाद कार्यक्रम में मुख्य उद्बोधन के उपरांत छात्रों से चर्चा भी की गई जिसमें छात्र अपने प्रश्न भी पूछे। इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान के सभागार में आयोजित किया गया।

केन्द्र के नगर प्रमुख रविन्द्र जैन ने बताया कि इस अवसर पर क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान के प्राचार्य प्रो. वी के कांकरिया ने कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता की तथा कार्यक्रम के संयोजक क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा संस्थान के प्रोफेसर एस वी शर्मा थे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन केंद्र की कार्यकर्ता रीना सोनी ने किया। इस अवसर पर केन्द्र के प्रान्त प्रशिक्षण प्रमुख डॉ. स्वतन्त्र शर्मा, केन्द्र भारती सह संपादक उमेश चौरसिया व प्रान्त संगठक सुश्री प्रांजलि येरिकर भी उपस्थित थीं।  

Samartha Bharat Parva Celebration at VKV Vallioor

“The  soil  of  India  is  my  highest  heaven.  The  good  of  India  is  my  good”   Swami Vivekananda after his wandering all over India came to Kanyakumari and sat in meditation on 25 , 26 and 27 December 1892. To spread these message of Swami Vivekananda  amongst the public , to focus on cultural tradition, this Samartha Bharatha Parva is being conducted by all Vivekandanda Kendra Vidyalaya Schools.

    This year we have selected the rural area  Thiruvenkadanathapuram (sirumazhanchi) near vallioor. Fifty  Students who were given enough practice and ten teachers went there. The programme  was  started at 6.30 p.m.   Village panchayat leaders Mr.Thangasamy Nadar and  Mr. Dhavasikani Nadar were the special guests. Nearly 325 people were the audience. Our Principal Mrs. R.Andal welcomed the gathering and the programme were commenced by prayer song and Bharathanatyam . Various  cultural programme like Debate ,  Patriotic dance, Folk dance,  National leader’s play @ conversation about Swami Vivekananda  were impressed by the audience.  Finally    Mr. Ooikattan, Rtd Postman  proposed the vote of thanks.  Mr.Jeyarai  who was the members of panchayat gave away the award on behalf of Sirumazhanchi people.
