The results of State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation under National Campaign on Energy Conservation were announced.
After evaluation of the paintings, the jury members nominated by the State Government and NHPC on November 6 selected three paintings from each category “A” (4th, 5th & 6th standard) and “B” (7th, 8th & 9th standard) for national level competition. Ten paintings were selected for consolation prizes from each category.
Anubhav Dutta, Class VI, of VKV, Itanagar, Lindum Antoni, Class VI, of JNV, Doimukh and Liyum Ori, Class VI, of VKV, Jirdin, West Siang won the first, second and third prizes respectively in category ‘A’.
Winners of category “B” are Martina Bagra (1st), Cl VIII, VKV, Jirdin, Aalo, West Siang, Kirondeep Bhattacharjee (2nd), Cl VIII, VKV, Itanagar, Mary Rumin, (3rd) Cl. VIII, VKV, Aalo.
