Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti recently organized a few medical camps in some villages of Lekang circle of Namsai district. On 27th, 28th and 29th August 2015 the camps were organized at Manpanglang, Singibeel and Kakoni respectively. A total 766 patients were examined and free medicines were distributed to the suffering patients. All Lekang Youth and Students’ Union supported the cause initiated by Vivekananda Kendra and their volunteers including president and secretary were personally present in all the camps. It is to be mentioned that Vivekananda Kendra has expanded its medical activities in Namsai district from this year.
