Vivekananda Kendra Suri Update

A meeting of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari was held at Suri , the district headquarters of Birbhum  in West Bengal  on April, 19 , 2015 at Saraswati Sishu Mandir campus, to discuss organizational matters and celebration of the birth centenary of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade.

The meeting  was presided over by Lakshminarayan Mondal, the former principal of Suri Vidyasagar College.  Manoj  Das , Prant Sanghatak of Paschimbang Prant showed a documentary on the activities of Vivekananda  Kendra .  In his speech Das told that being inspired by the ideology of Swami Vivekananda  , Ma. Eknath Ranade established the Kendra to render  services to mankind. He told that through the celebration of the birth centenary of  Ma Eknath Ranade the activities of Kendra would be strengthened . Someswar Boral, an assistant teacher of  Sree Sree Ramkrishna Vidyapith , Suri  told that the birth centenary  of Eknathji would be celebrated in the district with due grandeur and at least a new project of Kendra would be launched in this year in Birbhum . In his presidential address Mondal told that to spread the activities of Kendra in Birbhum the karkartyas would have to make time bound plan and connect with more people.

The meeting was conducted by Paritosh Hazra.  It had been resolved that a seminar  would be organized on June, 15 at Suri. Nivedita Bhide, vice president , Vivekananda Kendra would be invited to that proposed programme as the  keynote-   speaker. TOATAL 40 KARYAKARTA PRESENT IN THIS PROGRAMME.
