Vivekananda Kendra Nagpur branch conducted non residential personality development camps at 6 different places of Nagpur from 19th Apr to 26th Apr 2015.
This year the theme of the shibirs was 'Man Making'. The songs, stories, creativity sessions and games were designed accordingly. With all these things, children enjoyed the practice of loosening exercises, suryanamaskar & simple breathing exercises. Chanting of different Shlokas with Aikya Mantra from Rigveda created serene atmosphere. Stories & inspiring incidents were shared with the children on various subjects like discipline, team work, sensitivity, bravery, hard work etc.
184 children participated in all the camps. 4 more camps are going to be conducted in the month of May.
A residential camp will be held from 3rd June to 7th June at Sahakar Mandir, Ranapratap nagar, Nagpur.
नागपुर, अप्रैल 28 : विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा-नागपुर की ओर से नागपुर के 6 विभिन्न स्थानों पर व्यक्तित्व विकास शिविर (अनिवासी) का आयोजन किया गया। शिविर के प्रारंभ में प्रतिदिन प्रार्थना के साथ ही ऋग्वेद के ऐक्य मंत्र का पठन किया गया। ‘मनुष्य निर्माण से राष्ट्र पुनरुत्थान’ की संकल्पना को सामने रखते हुए 8 दिनों का पाठ्यक्रम बनाया गया। इन आठ दिनों में अनुशासन, परिश्रम, संयम, अध्ययनशीलता, संवेदनशीलता, निर्भयता, संगठन और निस्वार्थ सेवा इन विषयों पर कथाकथन हुआ।
19 से 26 अप्रैल की अवधि में संपन्न हुए इस 8 दिवसीय शिविर में कुल 184 स्कूली बच्चे सहभागी हुए। बच्चों के शारीरिक और मानसिक शक्ति के विकास के लिए सूर्यनमस्कार-योग व प्राणायाम के साथ ही तितिक्षावर्धक, बलवर्धक, चापलातावर्धक और एकाग्रतावर्धक मैदानी और इनडोर ऐसे 36 खेलों का समावेश था। शिविराथियों को “संग्राम जिंदगी है” और “निर्माणों के पावन युग में” ऐसे 2 गीतों को कंठस्थ कार्य गया, इसके अतिरिक्त हस्तकला के गुर भी सिखाए गए। उल्लेखनीय है कि इस शिविर में सहभागी हुए 184 छात्रों में से चयनित 100 छात्रों को जून में होनेवाले आवासीय शिविर में सहभागी होने का अवसर मिलेगा ।
