आवासीय व्यक्तित्व विकास शिविर समापन कांगड़ा द्वारा

नगरोटा बगवां के रेनबो इंटरनेशनल स्कूल में विवेकानन्द केंद्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा कांगड़ा, हिमाचल द्वारा आयोजित पाँच दिवसीय आवासीय व्यक्तित्व विकास शिविर 13 से 17 जुलाई 2026 का सफलतापूर्वक समापन हुआ। शिविर में 105 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। इस आयोजन का मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास के साथ-साथ उनमें अनुशासन, नेतृत्व क्षमता, सेवा भाव और राष्ट्रभक्ति का संचार करना था।

 शिविर का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्ज्वलन के साथ हुआ, जिसमें डॉ. छवि कश्यप, डॉ. अशोक कुमार, श्रीमती शिल्पी बैक्ता एवं श्री लोकेश केसरे उपस्थित रहे।

17 जुलाई को आयोजित समापन समारोह में नगरोटा बगवां की एसडीएम श्रीमती पूजा अधिकारी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहीं। विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य डॉ. छवि कश्यप ने पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर उनका स्वागत किया। शिविरार्थियों ने सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों एवं शिविर प्रतिवेदन के माध्यम से पाँच दिनों की गतिविधियों की झलक प्रस्तुत की।

प्रतिदिन प्रातः 5:30 से रात्रि 9:45 बजे तक की अनुशासित दिनचर्या में योगाभ्यास, सूर्य नमस्कार, संस्कार वर्ग, तेजस कार्यशाला, भजन संध्या और आत्मावलोकन जैसी गतिविधियाँ शामिल रहीं। बौद्धिक सत्रों में विभिन्न वक्ताओं ने स्वामी विवेकानन्द, नेताजी सुभाष चन्द्र बोस, एकनाथ रानाडे, कैप्टन विक्रम बत्रा, कैप्टन सौरभ कालिया और भगिनी निवेदिता के जीवन प्रसंगों के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्र सेवा और चरित्र निर्माण की प्रेरणा दी।

इस अवसर पर डॉ. छवि कश्यप ने कहा कि यह शिविर केवल एक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम नहीं, बल्कि आत्म-खोज, अनुशासन और व्यक्तित्व निर्माण की एक प्रेरणादायी यात्रा है। उन्होंने कहा कि "युवा सतर्क होगा तो देश मजबूत होगा।" उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से अपने भीतर की प्रतिभा को पहचानकर राष्ट्रहित में उसका उपयोग करने का आह्वान किया।

मुख्य अतिथि एसडीएम श्रीमती पूजा अधिकारी ने कहा कि ऐसे शिविर देश के भविष्य को सुदृढ़ बनाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि "मानव विकास से ही सशक्त राष्ट्र का निर्माण संभव है।" उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को अनुशासन, सेवा और सकारात्मक सोच को जीवन का आधार बनाने की प्रेरणा दी।

विवेकानन्द केंद्र कन्याकुमारी के उत्तर प्रांत के संचालक डॉ. अशोक रैना ने संस्था के उद्देश्यों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि समाज में नैतिक मूल्यों को सुदृढ़ करने में परिवार की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। उन्होंने कहा कि विवेकानन्द केंद्र ऐसे शिविरों के माध्यम से बच्चों में चरित्र निर्माण, राष्ट्रभक्ति, सेवा और नेतृत्व के संस्कार विकसित करने का सतत प्रयास कर रहा है। उन्होंने शिविर के सफल आयोजन में सहयोग के लिए विद्यालय प्रबंधन का आभार व्यक्त किया।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में मुख्य अतिथि एवं अन्य विशिष्ट अतिथियों को हिमाचली शॉल, हिमाचली टोपी एवं स्मृति-चिह्न भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया।

इस अवसर पर कांगड़ा नगर सह-संचालक श्री सी. एस. डोगरा, व्यवस्था प्रमुख श्री रविन्द्र शर्मा, उत्तर प्रांत सह-संगठक श्री लोकेश जी, विभाग संगठक श्री बलवीर कुशवाहा, श्रीमती नीरज शर्मा, श्री कृष्ण कुमार शर्मा, श्री केवल कृष्ण शर्मा, श्री सुरेन्द्र ठाकुर, श्री शेखर जी, कुमारी आकांक्षा मिश्रा, कुमारी अमृता मिश्रा, श्री तिलक शर्मा, विद्यालय की प्रबंधक समिति के सदस्य, शिक्षकगण, अभिभावक तथा बड़ी संख्या में गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित रहे।


समापन पर सभी शिविरार्थियों ने अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए इस शिविर को जीवन में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन लाने वाला बताया तथा समाज और राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पित भाव से कार्य करने का संकल्प लिया। पाँच दिवसीय यह आवासीय व्यक्तित्व विकास शिविर विद्यार्थियों के जीवन में अनुशासन, संस्कार, आत्मविश्वास और राष्ट्रभाव का सशक्त संदेश छोड़ते हुए सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ।

Personality Development Camp organized by Jule Solapur

A vibrant five-day Personality Development Camp was successfully organized by the Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Maharashtra Prant, Jule Solapur Branch from May 11 to 15 at VK VAYAM. Centered around the inspiring theme of “Swarajya” with the tagline “From Swarajya to Surajya,” the summer camp drew enthusiastic participation from 60 middle-school students classes 6 to 8, comprising 36 boys and 24 girls.

The event commenced with an inaugural session graced by chief guests Shri Vipul Bhopale-Patil and Shri Ganesh Gundami, Paschim Maharashtra Vibhag Pramukh and concluded with a valedictory function featuring Sri Vijaykumar Barbade, retired Project Director of Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) and Sri Madgonda Pujari, Maharashtra Prant Karyapaddhati Pramukh.

Throughout the camp, students engaged in a dynamic mix of intellectual, cultural, and physical sessions designed to build vital social skills. Highlights included an energetic "108 Surya Namaskar Maha Yajna," an inspiring "Revival through Inspiration" session, and a traditional Matru-Pitru Pujan ceremony.

Through collaborative group activities, the camp successfully nurtured self-confidence, leadership qualities, team spirit, health awareness, and time management.

The camp concluded with Shivir Pramukh Ms. Prajakta Rabkai Didi extending heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers, parents, and students, who collectively noted that the experience inspired them to bring positive, duty-bound changes to their daily lives.

Personality Development Camp at VKV Kallubalu

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant organized a month-long non-residential Personality Development Camp from April 15 to May 8, 2026, at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kallubalu. Conducted daily from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, the camp aimed at the holistic development of students through physical, mental, cultural, and value-based activities. A total of 59 students attended the camp. The valedictory programme held on May 8, 2026, witnessed the participation of 113 students, parents, and well-wishers.

The camp was inaugurated in the presence of Smt. Parimala Didi, who inspired the participants through her address. The daily schedule included Prathasmaran, Yoga, Karate, Shramadan, Ramayana classes, Warli art, drawing, craft activities, Yoga Nidra, and Mallakhamba, helping students develop discipline, creativity, physical fitness, confidence, and cultural awareness. Special sessions on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda motivated students to cultivate character and leadership qualities. The inaugural programme also featured the launch of “Baalayana Katha Parayana: Stories, Art & Sanskara for Kids.”

The concluding programme began with Shanti Pat followed by an inspiring address by Chief Guest Aadaraneeya Sushree Kanta Didi, who emphasized the importance of cultural values in personality development. Students presented Vivekavani recitations, devotional songs, shloka chanting, and cultural performances that reflected their learning and transformation during the camp. The programme also included a prize distribution ceremony recognizing the enthusiastic participation and achievements of the students.

A major highlight of the concluding programme was the energetic and captivating Mallakhamba performance presented by the participants, which left the audience deeply inspired and beautifully reflected the camp’s objective of developing physical strength, mental focus, confidence, and cultural pride. The programme concluded with heartfelt feedback from participants and parents, who expressed their gratitude and shared how the camp had positively influenced the students’ discipline, confidence, and overall personality development.

Personality Development Camp at Ranga Reddy

The Personality Development Camp, organized by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, Bhagyanagar Vibhag, Chandanagar Vistar, was successfully conducted from April 26th to May 3rd, 2026, at the serene venue of the Ayyappa Swami Temple in Ranga Reddy district. The eight-day camp drew 25 participants in the 8–13 age groups, seamlessly managed by a dedicated team of 6 karyakartas.

The valedictory program was presided over by Shri Satyanarayana ji, President of the Ayyappa Swamy Temple as the Chief Guest, alongside Shri Ravi Naidu ji, Prant Sanghatak, Telugu & Odisha Prant as the keynote Speaker. 

Each day began with the spiritual grounding of Omkar and Prarthana, followed by Yoga and Suryanamaskars to help the children enhance their concentration and physical fitness. The well-rounded curriculum included sessions on Bhagavad Gita chanting, inspirational stories of the great personalities of Bharat, patriotic songs, shlokas, and interactive group discussions that collectively instilled moral values, patriotism, confidence, and self-discipline. Cultivating everyday mindfulness, the children practiced daily Sankalps, such as greeting everyone with “Namaste” and reciting the Bhojan Mantra before meals, while fun, team-building games injected high enthusiasm and cooperation into the schedule.

The camp's impact was further enriched by an array of specialized sessions, featuring “Let’s Grow Together” by Shri Giridhar ji, “Cheriyal Painting” by Shri Madhu Merogoju ji, “Personality Development – Bharatiya Way” by Smt. Tripura Kota, “Inspirations from the Life of Swami Vivekananda” by Shri Arun Gaud ji, and insightful sessions on “Seva” and “Lippan Art” by Smt. Surabhi Bhatnagar.

The camp culminated in a heartfelt Samapan Samaroh, which featured a moving Matru-Pitra Vandan and vibrant presentations by the young participants showcasing their learning. Parents expressed immense appreciation for the visible, positive behavioral changes in their children and lauded the sincere efforts of the organizing team.

Concluding with the distribution of participation certificates and books to all the children, the camp proved to be a deeply meaningful and enriching experience, successfully inspiring the next generation toward a balanced development of body, mind, intellect, and character based on Bharatiya values and ideals.

Personality Development Camp at Kodungallur

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Kerala Prant),organized a Personality Development Camp at Anapuzha, Karuppan Nagar. Conducted on April 19th, 2026, from 9:30 am to 4:45 pm, the camp saw the enthusiastic participation of 14 children.

Led by Shri Remya Ji, with dedicated support from Shri Bindu Cheechi and Shri Surya Ji, the day was structured to instill Bharathiya Samskara and core values through a holistic approach. The morning sessions featured a spiritual and physical blend of Prayer, Vivekananda Suktam, storytelling, Geet, and Yoga, all aimed at fostering character and discipline.

The afternoon shifted toward creative expression and physical engagement, with children actively participated in craft, art, and games. Each session and activity was purposefully planned to impart values in a joyful and interactive manner, ensuring both learning and enjoyment.

A significant factor in the camp's success was the strong connection with local families; most participants were children from families already associated with various Yoga Satras conducted by Vivekananda Kendra. This successful turnout was a direct result of consistent follow-up.

The camp reached a meaningful conclusion with the presence of Shri Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevanvrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra. His blessings and encouraging address inspired the young participants to carry the lessons of the camp into their daily lives. The children remained cheerful and fully involved throughout the day, ensuring that the camp was not just an event, but a lively and impactful experience in their personal growth.

Personality Development Camp for Class VI students of VKV Kanyakumari

The Personality Development Camp for Class VI students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu Prant) was conducted from 2nd November 2025 at 8:00 a.m. to 4th November 2025 at 11:00 a.m., with a total participation of 81 students and teachers. The camp was designed to develop confidence, communication, leadership qualities, positive thinking, discipline, cooperation, and creativity among students, helping them grow into responsible and capable individuals in both their personal and academic lives.

On the first day, the students reported at 8:00 a.m. and were accommodated in Satyakam, Training Center, Vivekanandapuram. The camp began with an introductory address by the Principal, Smt. K. G. Sariga, at 9:30 a.m. The first session at 10:00 a.m. was led by the Chief Guest, Smt. Sumitha, who narrated stories of the Nayanmars and explaining the values of Shaivam, engaging the students through questions and discussions. The second session at 11:15 a.m. was conducted by Kum. Leela Akka from the Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, who narrated incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda and encouraged the students to develop spiritual insights. She also presented a patriotic song at 12:15 p.m., after which lunch was served at 12:45 p.m. In the afternoon, Smt. Chandra Kala addressed the third session by narrating the Mahabharata, followed by an interactive segment. Kendra Varga was then conducted by teachers Sri R. Manikumar and Smt. Chandra Kala, who taught loosening exercises and various games. The day continued with Bhajan Sandhya at 6:30 p.m., and after dinner, the students concluded the day with a joyful assembly.

The second day began with Pratasmaran and a yoga session conducted by Sri R. Manikumar. From 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the students participated in Shramadan. The first session at 9:30 a.m. was conducted by Dr. R. Sundara Kumar, who spoke about the challenges faced by Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade during the construction of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The session was interactive, and students noted important insights. The next session at 11:00 a.m. was handled by Smt. Sumathi and Smt. Sutha, who narrated the Ramayana with clarity and engaged the students with questions. They concluded with a patriotic song, followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. In the afternoon, at 2:00 p.m., the students visited the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where they learned about the significance of the Rock Memorial, Shripada Mandapam, the Dhyana Mandapam, and the Vivekananda Murti. After a group photograph, they returned to Satyakam at 4:45 p.m. The evening Bhajan Sandhya was held at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. The day concluded with student presentations based on incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda.

The final day began with Pratasmaran at 6:00 a.m., followed by Surya Namaskar practice led by Sri R. Manikumar, who also chanted the mantras. The concluding session was delivered by Sri S. Sanjeevi Rajan, Vice-Principal of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari, who encouraged students to internalize and practice moral values in daily life. The Personality Development Camp concluded with memorable insights and enriching experiences for all participants.

VKVVF Organizes Special Personality Development Camp for Selected Children

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Kerala Prant) organized a special one-day Personality Development Camp for children selected from various camps conducted in and around Kodungallur. The camp was held at the VKVVF premises on 26th April 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A total of 25 children participated in the camp, accompanied by several parents, bringing the total number of participants to 36. The organizing team included VKVVF’s yoga instructors and the parents of the participating children.

The objective of the camp was to help children develop positive self-beliefs and reinforce cultural values through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga.

Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari DidiDirector of VKVVF, and Adarneeya Shri Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevan-vrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, interacted with the children and blessed them.

Dr. Rema DeviPrincipal of a B.Ed. College and an experienced counselling psychologist, was the Chief Guest for the event. She shared valuable insights with the participants, enriching the camp experience.

The camp was smoothly coordinated and supported by VKVVF Karyakartas: Ms. Bindu Chechi, Ms. Remya Chechi, Ms. Suja Chechi, Ms. Anita Chechi, Ms. Preetha Chechi, Sri Radhakrishnan Ji, and Sri Danasheelan Ji.

The children took part enthusiastically in all the activities, enjoyed the camp thoroughly, and gained meaningful cultural and moral values

Personality Development Camp at Bhavnagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Gujarat Prant, Bhavnagar Vibhag, Bhavnagar Branch organized a Personality Development Camp for students from 18th to 20th April at Raghukul Vidyadham, Devaraj Nagar. A total of 53 participants took part in this enriching experience.

The camp was structured to offer a balanced mix of intellectual, physical, and creative activities. It included six baudhik sessions, three group discussions (Manthan), three creative sessions, two physical exercise sessions, and two games sessions. The inaugural session was held on 18th April, graced by the presence of Adarneeya Ms. Amarjyotiba Gohil Didi and Vadodara Vibhag Sanchalak Shri Jayantilal Parmar ji as chief guests.

The theme of the camp was “Patriotism in Action”, with the objective of instilling patriotic spirit and cultural values in the participants. In one of the creative sessions, Shri Meghdeepbhai Gohil ji guided the participants on understanding the purpose of life. During the “Chalo Vato Kariye” (Let's Talk) session, Ms. Shwetaben led a unique reflective activity where participants were encouraged to converse with objects, helping them experience the idea that God is present everywhere. In the Prerna se Punaruththan session, a treasure hunt game was conducted, accompanied by stories of Veer Hamirji Gohil's sacrifice and dedication, which inspired the participants deeply.

On 19th April, Shri Pareshbhai Trivedi ji delivered an impactful session on Swami Vivekananda as a role model for youth. Shri Chetanbhai Tank ji led a discussion titled “Breaking the Narratives”, prompting participants to critically evaluate contemporary issues. The participants also engaged in Shastrarth (scriptural debate) on texts like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, further enriching their understanding of our cultural heritage. Shri Manharbhai Rathod ji conducted a session on “Let's Update for Future Challenges,” encouraging forward-thinking and preparedness.

The evening Bhajan Sandhya was filled with heartfelt devotional songs that created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. On the morning of 20th April, the day began with Pratahsmaran, followed by a physical activity session where the strength-building game “Matire ki Fank” was played to cultivate bravery and courage. Participants were also trained in performing Surya Namaskar as part of their daily wellness practice.

Shri Rameshbhai Solanki ji introduced the vision and mission of Vivekananda Kendra through the topic “Vivekananda Kendra – A Thought Movement,” while Dr. Darshakbhai Dasadia ji inspired participants with his session on “Mastering the Game of Life.” Throughout the camp, participants also received training in Bhagavad Gita chanting, which helped nurture discipline, efficiency, and a sense of devotion.

Each day, participants made a personal resolution through Sankalpa, committing to practices such as daily Surya Namaskar, Gita chanting, morning prayer, and more. As part of the creative output, the Sambhaji Gan (one of the teams) created a beautiful collage using newspaper clippings and crafted an artistic rangoli using stones, showcasing both creativity and teamwork.

This camp was a significant step forward in nurturing the spirit of seva, samskar, and self-development among the future torchbearers of the nation.

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Kerala Prant) organized a week-long Personality Development Camp for children at Edavilangu Sharada Gramam, Kodungulur from 4th to 11th April 2025.

The daily sessions were held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (two and a half hours each day). A total of 25 children participated in the camp, accompanied by several parents, bringing the total number of participants to 55.

The objective of the camp was to help children develop positive beliefs and strengthen their cultural values through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga.

The camp was inaugurated by Ms. Suja Cheechi (Karyakarta, VKVVF) with a deepa prajwalan. On 9th April, Adarneeya Raghunathan Ji, a Jeevanvrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, interacted with the children. Ms. Raji Cheechi and Sri Girish Ji also shared their thoughts and experiences during the camp.

On the concluding day, Adarneeya Sri Sudhakar Ji, a senior Jeevanvrati Karyakarta, graced the occasion, offering his blessings and guidance to the children. VKVVF Karyakartas Ms. Bindu Cheechi and Ms. Remya Cheechi were also present on the concluding day.


The children actively participated in all the activities, thoroughly enjoyed the camp, and imbibed valuable cultural and moral lessons.

Personality Development Camp at Anapuzha

 

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur, in association with Anapuzha Pandit Karuppan Memorial Vayanashalla, organized a one-day Personality Development Camp on 9th April 2025 at the Kalyanadayini Sabha Hall, Anapuzha, in Thrissur district. The camp was conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The objective of the camp was to help children cultivate positive values and strengthen their cultural foundations through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga.

The camp was inaugurated by Thangaraj Master, former President of the Anapuzha Pandit Karuppan Memorial Vayanashalla. Adarneeya Sri Sudhakar Ji and Sri Raghunanthan Ji, Jeevan-vrati karyakarthas of Vivekananda Kendra, guided the children, while various activities were conducted by VKVVF karyakartas—Ms. Bindu Cheechi, Ms. Sheela Cheechi, Ms. Sheela Teacher, Ms. Sreelakshmi Cheechi, Ms. Anu Cheechi, Ms. Anushree Cheechi, Sri Surya Ji, and Ms. Remya Cheechi.

A total of 52 children participated in the camp, along with several parents, bringing the total number of participants to 82.

Personality Development Camp at Edavilangu Village

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur conducted a Personality Development Camp at Edavilangu village from 01/04/2023 to 07/04/2023 for the Primary and Middle school students. 55 children participated in the Camp and 35 parents were also present.

The organizing team consisted of Karyarkarthas from Edavilangu village who got associated with Kendra recently. They have planned to start a Samskar Varga with 19 children at the same village as a follow-up. Yoga Satra, Swadhya Varga and Kendra Varga are also to be started in near future.
