International Day of Yoga Celebration at Konathukunnu by VKVVF

On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), organized a Yoga session on 22nd June 2026 at Government U.P. School, Konathukunnu, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 30 students alongside the school teachers, organized under the leadership of the Headmistress.

The practical session was guided by Vivekananda Kendra Karyakarta Smt. Padmaja Chechi, under whose direction the students practiced and demonstrated various Yogasanas in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol. During the session, the participants were also enlightened on the significance of Yoga and its vital benefits for physical and mental well-being.

The programme was conducted with deep discipline and active involvement, successfully fostering health awareness and self-confidence among the young students. The event concluded on a inspiring note, earning appreciation from everyone present for its positive impact on the school community.

International Day of Yoga Celebrated at CMMOLP School in Kodungallur by VKVVF

On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) organized a special Yoga programme on 23rd June 2026 at CMMOLP School, Kodungallur, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 80 students.

The session was led by Kendra Karyakarta, Ms. Jayalakshmi Chechi, the one-hour program guided the children through a structured routine featuring gentle warm-up exercises, age-appropriate yogasanas, basic pranayama, and calming relaxation techniques, all interspersed with interactive yoga activities, aimed at introducing them to the transformative practice of yoga in an enjoyable, child-friendly manner.

The program concluded with successfully sowed the seeds of a healthy lifestyle among the young participants, reflecting Vivekananda Kendra's ongoing commitment to holistic education and character building through yoga.

International Day of Yoga celebrated at Cherai by VKVVF

On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) organized a Yoga programme on 22nd June 2026 at Sahodaran Ayyappan L.P. School, Cherai, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 200 students, along with the Principal and faculty members.

The grand program was coordinated by the school's physical education teacher, Sri Shiva Krishna ji, the practical session was led by Yogacharya Adaraneeya Sudhakar Ji, a Senior Jeevan-vrati of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. He expertly guided the large gathering of young learners through a series of structured yogasanas, deep breathing practices, and rejuvenating relaxation techniques.

During his address, Adarneeya Sudhakar Ji enlightened the children on how a daily yoga discipline directly fosters vibrant physical health, sharper mental concentration, strong self-discipline, and well-rounded personality development.

The event was exceptionally well received, successfully embedding the core message of "Yoga for Health, Harmony, and Holistic Development" in the hearts of the young participants.

The program reached a powerful conclusion with a collective Sankalpa led by Kum. Sweta. Under her guidance, all 200 students and staff pledged to integrate yoga into their daily routines and dedicate themselves to building a healthy, harmonious, and value-based society.

International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrated at Ernakulam by VKVVF

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) organized a meaningful celebration for the International Day of Yoga at the Kunjikkutty Thampuratty Memorial Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Andipillikkavu, Ernakulam on June 22, 2026. The event drew active participation from 25 students.

Coordinated by Ms. Remya Chechi, a dedicated Karyakarta of VK-VVF, recognizing the unique challenges faced during youth, the program featured an awareness session tailored specifically for adolescent girls, focusing on the critical role of hormonal balance in maintaining overall physical, mental, and emotional health. The students were guided through demonstrations and practice of specific yoga asanas designed to support endocrine health.

Beyond the physical practice, the session dove into the foundational ethical frameworks of yoga - Yama and Niyama explaining how these principles cultivate a balanced, disciplined, and healthy lifestyle.

The interactive session concluded successfully, leaving the young participants inspired to weave holistic yogic practices into the fabric of their daily routines.

International Day of Yoga 2026 Celebration at Chakkarappadam by VKVVF

On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) organized a special Yoga programme on 22nd June 2026 at Sree Saraswathy Vidyalayam, Chakkarappadam, Thrissur, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 75 students.

The programme was beautifully steered by Vivekananda Kendra Karyakarta, Ms. Sheela Lal Chechi, who masterfully guided the participants through a structured sequence of age-appropriate practices. The event was thoughtfully designed to introduce children to the ancient practice of yoga in an engaging, interactive, and joyful manner, fostering healthy lifestyle habits right from their formative years.

The hour-long session commenced with gentle warm-up exercises to loosen up and prepare the body, transitioning smoothly into fundamental yogasanas that focus on posture, flexibility, and focus. To ensure holistic well-being, Sheela Lal Chechi also introduced the students to basic pranayama and structured relaxation methods, beautifully blending the physical and mental aspects of the practice.

The children remained completely captivated throughout, actively following every instruction and immersing themselves in playful, interactive yoga activities that made the learning process incredibly fun. By the end of the session, the students left deeply motivated to integrate yoga into their daily routines for a more balanced and healthy life

On the occasion of International Day of Yoga 2026, the Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), organized a vibrant Yoga for Kids program at MES FR LP & UP School, Vekode, Vemballur. Held on 22nd June, 2026, from 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 160 young students who brought immense life, interest, and positive energy to the gathering.

The program was beautifully conducted by Kendra Karyakarta, Ms. Jayalakshmi Chechi, who masterfully tailored the practice to suit the needs of young learners.

The well-structured session featured gentle loosening exercises to warm up, followed by a series of foundational yogasanas that promote flexibility and balance, simple pranayama to improve concentration, and soothing relaxation techniques to calm the mind.

To keep the children deeply engaged, Jayalakshmi Chechi seamlessly integrated playful, fun-filled yoga activities that made the entire experience both educational and highly enjoyable.

The event concluded with a gentle reminder of the lifelong benefits of incorporating yoga into daily routines, emphasizing how nurturing healthy mental and physical habits from an early age builds a strong foundation for a bright and balanced future.

International Day of Yoga 2026 Celebrated at Maliankara by VKVVF

As part of the nationwide celebrations commemorating the International Day of Yoga 2026, the Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) organized a comprehensive yoga programme on June 22, 2026, at Sree Narayana Mangalam College, Maliankara. The one-hour event, which commenced at 08:30 am, the session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 123 students and faculty members, who actively engaged in the practices.

The programme was organized with the wholehearted support of Dr. Jitha T. H., Principal, Dr. Rashmi, NSS Programme Coordinator, and Lieutenant Dr. Akhil J., NCC Officer, whose guidance and cooperation ensured the successful conduct of the event.

The Yoga session was conducted by Shri Jaikishan C. S. Ji. The session included foundational loosening exercises Sithilikarana Vyayama to warm up the body, followed by a sequence of Yogasanas, Pranayama to balance vital energy, and concluding relaxation techniques to integrate the benefits of the practice. The participants actively took part in the session and experienced the benefits of Yoga for physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The programme concluded successfully, inspiring the participants to adopt Yoga as a regular practice and reinforcing the message of health, harmony, and holistic living.

12th International Day of Yoga organized by VKVVF - Moothakunnam

The Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation Keralam, Kodungallur organized a special program at Moothakunnam to observe the 12th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2026. Held from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. the event brought together 22 dedicated participants.

A highlighting feature of the event was an inspiring address by Aadarneeya Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevanvrati, who spoke deeply on the transformative power of yoga and the vital importance of integrating its values into daily life.

The leadership of Shri Jaikishan Ji, the majority of whom are regular attendees of the local Yoga Satras. This awareness and motivational session highlighted the global significance of yoga while also introducing the core objectives of the Amrita Parivar initiative, encouraging families to foster stronger communal bonds through shared spiritual practices.

Ultimately, this successful program carried forward the core mission of Vivekananda Kendra by strengthening local fellowship, inspiring continued daily practice, and reinforcing a timeless Vedic vision of harmony and health within society.

International Day of Yoga 2026 Celebrated at VKVVF Kodungallur

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga at Ananda Dham, Sringapuram, on 21st June 2026. Centered on the guiding principle of “Yoga as a way of life based on the vision of oneness” and aligned with the global theme of Healthy Aging, the event brought together 75 enthusiastic participants, yoga practitioners, and well-wishers from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

The program commenced with a prayer by Smt. Remya Suresh, followed by a warm welcome and introductory address by Sri P. N. Joshi ji. The celebration was formally inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and inner consciousness.

Presiding over the function, Mananeeya Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director & Chairperson of VK-VVF delivered an inspiring address emphasizing Yoga as a holistic way of life that fosters harmony within both the individual and society. Sri C. Ramesh ji, Retired Inspector of Police, Azhikode, delivered the keynote address, drawing from his professional background to highlight how regular yoga practice builds discipline, mental resilience, and self-mastery.

A central highlight of the morning was the Common Yoga Protocol session, expertly guided by Smt. Sheela Didi, where participants of all ages collectively practiced stretching exercises, asanas, pranayama, and meditation in a powerful display of unity.

The energy was further elevated during an experience-sharing session, where practitioners offered heartfelt testimonies on how Yoga had positively transformed their physical health and emotional balance. Under the guidance of Adaraneeya Shri Sudhakar ji, the gathering then took a collective Sankalpa, resolving to integrate Yoga into their daily routines and share its benefits with the wider community.

Seamlessly coordinated under the leadership of Adarneeya Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevanvrithi, the successful event drew to a close with a Vote of Thanks by Sri Devadas ji and the chanting of the Shanti Mantra.

150th Anniversary of National Song Vande Mataram Celebrated by VKVVF

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur commemorated the 150th Anniversary of the National Song Vande Mataram on 7th November 2025 at VKVVF, Kodungulur. A total of 19 participants — 12 children from Sandeepani Sishu Vihar and 7 elders — took part in the programme.

As part of the nationwide celebration, the children, along with their teachers and senior karyakartas, collectively sang Vande Mataram in the presence of Mananeeya Lakshmi Didi, Director of VK-VVF creating an atmosphere of devotion, patriotism, and cultural pride.

Viveka Vibhuti - Monthly Support to Needy People by VKVVF

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur organized the Viveka Vibuthi for the month of September 2025 on 30th September at Ashrayam Agathi Mandhiram, Kodungullur, from 1 p.m. onwards. A total of 5 Karyakartas participated in the programme.

As part of the Amrita Kutumbham initiative, Viveka Vibuthi is a special drive of Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation aimed at extending support to the needy and economically backward sections of society. The September programme was conducted at Ashrayam Agathi Mandhiram, which shelters around 36 elderly inmates, both men and women, who are ailing and in need of care and compassion. Kendra Karyakartas—Smt. Bindu Chechi, Smt. Remya Ji, Sri Nandakumar Ji, along with two yoga students—executed the Seva with dedication. Annadhanam was offered, and the team spent quality time with the residents, listening to their health concerns and offering words of comfort and encouragement.

VKVVF Organizes Special Personality Development Camp for Selected Children

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Kerala Prant) organized a special one-day Personality Development Camp for children selected from various camps conducted in and around Kodungallur. The camp was held at the VKVVF premises on 26th April 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A total of 25 children participated in the camp, accompanied by several parents, bringing the total number of participants to 36. The organizing team included VKVVF’s yoga instructors and the parents of the participating children.

The objective of the camp was to help children develop positive self-beliefs and reinforce cultural values through engaging activities such as games, storytelling, and yoga.

Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari DidiDirector of VKVVF, and Adarneeya Shri Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevan-vrati Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra, interacted with the children and blessed them.

Dr. Rema DeviPrincipal of a B.Ed. College and an experienced counselling psychologist, was the Chief Guest for the event. She shared valuable insights with the participants, enriching the camp experience.

The camp was smoothly coordinated and supported by VKVVF Karyakartas: Ms. Bindu Chechi, Ms. Remya Chechi, Ms. Suja Chechi, Ms. Anita Chechi, Ms. Preetha Chechi, Sri Radhakrishnan Ji, and Sri Danasheelan Ji.

The children took part enthusiastically in all the activities, enjoyed the camp thoroughly, and gained meaningful cultural and moral values
