‘Tejas’ Vyaktitva Vikas Shibir was conducted by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Nagpur Branch from 27th April to 1st May 2011. Prior to this camp, non-residential camps were conducted for 233 children at 6 places where regular samskar vargas are going on. 62 children from different places attended the camp. Though the schedule was little difficult in the beginning, children enjoyed it. Every day they had pratah smaran, yogabhyas, shramasanskar, in-door & out-door games and Bhajan Sndhya. They had sessions in very simple language on Purpose of life, Values of life, Team-Building & My role in Nation Building & also discussed in group on different aspect of these subjects. Creativity sessions were enjoyed by all. They made various greeting cards, flowers and acted in dramas. On given themes they prepared their own scripts acted very nicely. Smt. Madhavitai Santa, a Kendra Karyakarta from Nasik guided them in creativity sessions. In concluding programme Ma. Vishvasji Lapalkar addressed the parents & made them to think about their role in bringing up the future of this country. All the parents, participants & karyakartas participated in Bharat Mata Pujan.
