10-day long socio-religious function concludes at Rama Krishana Ashram

ANANATNAG, June 23: Ten day long socio-religious function organized by Shree Ramakrishna Maha Sammelan Ashram, Nagdandi, Anantnag, Kashmir under the aegis of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari concluded today, with participation of 33 persons including 11 ladies from different states of India.

During the 10 day long programme different camps on Yoga, Sadhna, meditation were held. The trainees were also enlightened on all parameters of Rajayoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga and Jnana Yoga besides teachings of Swami Vivekananda and Mananeeya Eknathji as stated by B L Bhat Chairman, Administrative Committee and Shivir Pramukh, SRMA, Nagdandi. Mananeeya Hanumant Raoji, Treasurer, Kum. Rekha Davey, joint general secretary, Kum Lalitaji, Kalpana Mehta from VK Kanyakumari, Swami Kumarji Maharaj, Sri Kamalesh Tufchi, Dr Rajashekhara Reddy, Kum Hina Pandita, B L Bhat and Chanchal Dhar educated the participants on Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavad Gita, Kendra Prarthana, Omkar Dhyana, challenges and responses, activities of SRMA Nagdandi and VK Kanyakumari. Special sessions of Yama , Niyama. Sadhana of service and Bharatiya Samskriti, Vedic and Bhagavad Gita chantings, patriotic songs/Bhajans in organised way were held daily. During the camp an Akhil Bharatiya Yog Shiksha Shivir was also held which concluded on June 21 the International Yoga Day.

The largely impressive concluding function which was also attended by Karyakartas, local KP residents especially youth from the districts of Budgam, Srinagar, Baramulla, Kopwara, Pulwana, Shopian, Kulgam and Anantnag. Mr B L Bhat wanted the Shivir participants to act now as ambassadors of SRMA Nagdandi in their own states to strengthen the Sanatan Dharma as per mission of Swami Ashokanandaji, work for Intra-Inter State Integration, Man Making-Nation Building and universal brotherhood. Sri Jai Kishan Razdan, proposed the vote of thanks.
