The academic year 2026–27 commenced on an auspicious note with the celebration of Varsharambha Puja on Monday, 25 May 2026, at the Patanjali Sabhangana of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kallubalu, (Karnataka Prant). The event witnessed a total attendance of 182 participants, including 130 students, 28 staff members, 4 parents, and 20 alumni.
The programme began with a sacred Agnihotra Homa performed by Aadaraneeya Lalita Didi along with the students, where the chanting of mantras and the fragrance of the havan created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with positivity and enthusiasm. Following the Homa, the formal programme commenced with a prayer rendered by Kum. Shakuntala Didi, after which Kum. Jayashri Didi welcomed Chief Guest Smt. Padmarekha Didi and gathering.
Addressing the students, the esteemed Chief Guest Smt. Padmarekha Didi, along with Aadaraneeya Lalita Didi, encouraged the students to make the best use of the facilities and opportunities provided by the Vidyalaya, advising them to acquire knowledge with dedication and utilize it for the welfare of society and the nation.
The outgoing Class X girls then presented a melodious and thought-provoking geet, “Nirmano Ke Pawan Yug Mein,” which was highly appreciated by all.
A special highlight of the occasion was the presentation of a new podium to the Vidyalaya by the outgoing Class X students as a token of gratitude and a memorable gift to their alma mater.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Sri Chandru V.B.
The programme concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra.
Thereafter, the students offered flowers to Saraswati Mata, participated in the vahana puja, received prasada, and dispersed to their respective classes, marking a meaningful and inspiring beginning to the academic year by fostering a spirit of devotion, gratitude, and commitment among the students and staff.
