The programme commenced with a prayer song rendered by the students, followed by a warm welcome address and an introduction to the significance of Yoga by Smt. Saravana Usha. The proceedings were compered by Smt. Subbulakshmi. The celebration featured a series of impressive performances by the students, including Bharatanatyam, Silambam, Karate, and other cultural presentations that reflected discipline, strength, and coordination.
The highlight of the programme was the mass Yoga demonstration conducted under the guidance of the Chief Guest, during which all the students performed various Yogasanas with remarkable precision, focus, and synchronization. Addressing the gathering, Smt. Padmavathi emphasized the importance of incorporating Yoga into daily life for physical well-being, mental balance, and holistic development.As a token of gratitude, a memento was presented to the Chief Guest by the Correspondent, Sri S. K. Subramanian ji. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Smt. Muthumari, followed by the Kendra Prarthana, leaving the participants inspired to adopt Yoga as a way of life.
