23-29 Nov.2015: Vivekananda Kendra Telugu Praant organised Aanandalaya Acharya Prashikshan Shivir for the first time at Kaushalam, Vivekananda Kendra's Human Excellence Training Centre, Hyderabad. The Shivir was a follow up of the National level Janajati Netrutva Sammelan, Kanyakumari, September 2015.
12 youth participated from the Vanavasi and fishing communities of 3 districts - Prakasam, Vizianagaram and V
isakhapatnam.
Inauguration: Sri Vivek Vinayak, Working President, Girijana Aikya Vedika.
Chief Resource Person: Kum.Varsha Didi, Jeevanvrati and Saha Sangathak, Odisha Seva Prakalpa. Assisted by: Kum. Binoti Sawra, Jeevanvrati and Samparka Pramukh, Aanandalaya Assam and Sri Ajoy Chawra, Shiksharthi and Aanandalaya Sangathak, Assam.
Sessions on Learning Process as also waste management, composting: Kum Poonam Bhide, Independent Learning Consultant.
Session on Language learning: Smt Sunita Bhide Rao, Teacher and Facilitator.
Session on Swami Vivekananda: Sri Ramakrishna, Vanaprasthi karyakarta & Campus Manager, VK Kaushalam.
Sessions included Yoga Varga, Srujan -[preparation of learning materials], conceptual sessions on organisational topics as well as Aanandalaya specific such as need to move from simple to complex and known to unknown; subhashitam, rhymes, and action songs with Practicals in Sanskar Varga and Aanandalaya.
Sri KVS Karthik Kumar, Praant Sanyojak, Asmita, co-ordinated the Shivir.
Concluding Session: Sri Dasari Srinivasulu, IAS, Principal Secretary and Sri G. Chandramouli, Praant Pramukh, VRM & VK, Telugu Praant addressed the participants.
