Yoga Sangamam at Karuppan Nagar in Anappuzha

As part of the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant), organized a Yoga Sangamam on 8th June 2026 at Karuppan Nagar, Anappuzha. The programme marked the third consecutive year of organizing Yoga Sangamam at the venue and witnessed the participation of 40 people.

The programme was inaugurated by Adarneeya Sudhakar Ji, Senior Jeevanvrati of Vivekananda Kendra, who inspired the participants with his presence and encouraged them to adopt yoga as a way of life.

The session was led by Ms. Remya Chechi, who guided the participants through the yoga practices with enthusiasm and dedication.

The programme concluded successfully with active participation from all the attendees, reinforcing the importance of regular yoga practice for individual well-being and social harmony.

Yoga Sangamam at Lokamaleswaram

As part of the International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations, a vibrant Yoga Sangamam was jointly organized by the Lokamaleswaram Gurudeva Samajam and the Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur (Keralam Prant) on Thursday, 25 June 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sree Narayana Hall, Lokamaleswaram and the event which drew the enthusiastic participation of 80 students.

The formal inaugural function was chaired by Sri Harshakumar ji, with Aadaraneeya Sudhakar Ji, a Senior Jeevanvrati of Vivekananda Kendra, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. The celebrations were auspiciously initiated with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Aadarneeya Sudhakar Ji. The programme was smoothly coordinated by Karyakarta Smt. Padmaja Suresh Babu Chechi.

Following the invocation, Sri Sajeevan Ji and Sri Radhakrishnan Ji addressed the gathering, extending their warm greetings and delivering insightful speeches that emphasized the profound significance of integrating yoga into daily life to foster health, mental clarity, and value-based living.

The core of the event featured a structured practical session aligned with the Common Yoga Protocol, expertly led by Smt. Padmaja Chechi, who guided the audience through various asanas and breathing exercises with clarity and enthusiasm.

A major highlight of the session was a captivating demonstration of advanced yogasanas by Smt. Mani Didi, whose remarkable flexibility, discipline, and dedication deeply inspired everyone present. The program witnessed the active, all of whom engaged wholeheartedly in the practices and expressed deep appreciation for the holistic health benefits of yoga.

The Yoga Sangamam concluded on a highly positive and motivating note, successfully inspiring the young participants to adopt yoga as a daily ritual for lifelong physical fitness, mental peace, and overall well-being.
