This year, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, organized International Day of Yoga programmes at 159 places across Arunachal Pradesh, with a total participation of 17,222 people. Of these, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh Trust (VKVAPT) conducted programmes at 146 places, reaching 16,263 participants, with the active involvement of 511 Karyakartas. In addition, Vivekananda Kendra branch centres organized programmes at 13 locations, with a total participation of 959 people.

The programmes were conducted in educational institutions, villages, community spaces, and public places, engaging people from all walks of life. Participants enthusiastically practiced Yogasanas and Pranayama as per the International Day of Yoga protocol. Local leadership also played an important role in the celebrations. At Miao, the programme was graced by Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Shri Tapir Gao, while several other centres welcomed local MLAs, Zilla Parishad Members (ZPMs), and other distinguished citizens, reflecting the collective commitment of society towards promoting Yoga as a way of life.
