Thiruvonam Celebration at Sandeepani Shishuvihar in Kodungulur

Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungulur (Kerala Prant), celebrated Thiruvonam with great joy and devotion at Sandeepani Shishuvihar, Kodungulur on 26th August 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 25 students, along with their teachers and parents.

The day’s celebrations included the creation of Athapookalam (floral designs), singing of Onappattukal (Onam songs), Onasadya (traditional feast), and engaging in traditional games that reflected the cultural vibrancy of Kerala. The involvement of students, teachers, and parents made the occasion lively and memorable.

Mananeeya Dr. Lakshmi Kumari Didi, Director of VK Vedic Vision Foundation, graced the programme and blessed the children, inspiring them to cherish cultural traditions while growing with the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

The celebrations concluded with a spirit of unity and joy, reaffirming the cultural values and family spirit nurtured at VKVVF.
