Youth Training Camp at Namsai


Mananeeya Eknathji Janmashati Prava, Arunachal Prant has organized Four (days) Yuva Prashikshan Shivir for the Selected Youths, who are working for the social upliftment in eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh five districts, Namsai, Tirap, Changlang, Lohit and Longding of arunachal Pradesh. Camp was conducted at Zenith Child School, Namsai, 20th to 23rd April 2015. 86 participants or karyakartas were taken participated in this camp. The main objectives of this camp were to upgrade the quality, positive direction and to inculcate patriotism, cultural value, self discipline and the attitude of Social Service, formal and informal education, health and hygiene, with the twine ideal of Vivekananda Kendra “Man Making - Nation Building” through the various sessions on yoga, lecture, concentration & memory development games and group discussion.

            Camp inaugurated on 20th April 2015 by Chief Guest Venerable Agga Dhamma, Chief Monk of Buddha Vihar Monastery, Namsai, He said that by doing so, they will be able to strengthen their self-confidence and able to face any of life’s challenges in the future.
He believed that by providing youths with positive and constructive activities to occupy their time, they will be affected morally, and eventually become a better person who will one day contribute to a better society. Camp concluded on 23rd April 2015, where chief guest Shri R.K. Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Namsai and Guest of honor Shri Sange Tashi Thungdok, ZPM Rupa addressed the participants and other invitees Karyakartas as a concluding speech.

AISSE & AISSCE 2015 Result at VKV Dibrugarh

The results of AISSE, 2015 Examination held on 3rd May, 2015 have declared today the 28th May, 2015. 85 students appeared the examination from our Vidyalaya. 6 no. of students bagged away 10 CGPA, 17 students scored more than 9 CGPA and 22 students scored more than 8 CGPA. Unlike other years, this year too, the Vidyalaya exhibited cent percent successful results. The 10 CGPA holders are Aneesh Kashyap, Antara Sharma, Bidisha Baruah, Binay Sharma, Shikhari Baruah and Tanish Ghosh. The Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar congratulated the students, the teaching staff for the success. We congratulate all of them and wish them a very prosperous life.

Students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Dibrugarh has performed outstandingly in the Class XII CBSE Examination, 2015. In Science 30 students appeared where 93.2% as the highest percentage scored by Aprtim Bora this year. In Science, the highest mark in Physics is 96, English 95, Chemistry 98, Mathematics 95, Biology 95 and Computer Science 99 respectively. In Commerce 23 candidates appeared where the highest percentage is marked 94.6% bagged away by Manish Kumar Agarwalla. The highest mark in Accountancy is 95, Business Studies 95, Economics 95, English 95, Mathematics 81 and Informatics Practices 95 respectively. The Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Ravindranath D. Savdeykar has expressed great pleasure and satisfaction over the repeated good results of the school. He extended his gratitude to the whole teaching staff of the school, the students as well as the guardians for understanding sincere efforts to keep the honor of the prestigious school intact.

Vimarsha on SEVA at Suri


On the occasion of the birth centenary of Mananeeya  Eknathji Ranade,  a public programme Vimarsh on "Seva" was organized by the Suri branch of  Vivekananda Kendra , Kanyakumari on the 15th June at D R D C Hall, Suri, Birbhum, West Bengal. Justice [ retd.] Bipin Kumar Mukherjee formally inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. The programme was graced by Su. Nivedita Bhide, Vice President Vivekananda Kendra , Kanyakumari.  Sri L N Mondal , former principal of Suri Vidyasagar & Sanyojog of Suri branch of Kendra presided over the programme. 

About two hundred people including the officials of different social, cultural and educational organizations attended the programme. Cultural programme was performed by Smt. Pritikana Bhattacharya and her group.

Vimarsh on seva at suri, west bengalJustice Mukherjee said , ‘ Now we have to act at grass-root level. The people are suffering from a lot of problems particularly health related ailments. If we can not make them aware of health and hygiene it is not possible to make healthy India. In her key-note address Su. Nivedita Bhide said, "With strong determination and missionary zeal  Eknathji Ranade founded Vivekananda Kendra.  He has set up a burning example of dedication and service before us". She told that seva should not mean only to provide some food, shelter or medicines to poor people. But we have to enable the people, so that they themselves can earn what  they need. A sense of self-reliance must be created among all the country men.

Officials of the Paschimbanga Prant of Kendra- Kingshuk Pallab Biswas, Pradip Jaiswal, Malabika Chatterjee and Prant-Sangathak, Manoj Das were also present in the programme.
