Campus Leadership Program - Project Execution at Vadodara

The Ignited Youth Forum of Vivekananda Kendra, Vadodara Branch, organized the second phase of the Campus Leadership Program in Vadodara Nagar on 15th September 2025, focusing on project execution. A total of 55 students from different universities, including 26 from Parul University, participated with great enthusiasm.

The program aimed to nurture leadership qualities among youth by engaging them in practical initiatives for social impact. For this phase, participants were organized into five groups of 4–5 members, each tasked with executing unique projects. The projects undertaken were

1. Literacy Day – spreading awareness and encouraging literacy among peers and community members.
2. Silent Heroes Appreciation Campaign – acknowledging the efforts of unsung contributors to society.
3. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – promoting sustainable practices for environmental protection.
4. Mental Health Awareness among School Students – conducting sessions to foster emotional well-being and resilience.
5. Gauseva – extending service and care towards cows as part of Bharat’s cultural ethos.

Of these initiatives, three projects were executed within the campus while two were conducted outside, ensuring outreach both within and beyond the student community.

The programme not only provided a vibrant platform for experiential learning but also instilled in the students a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and the spirit of Seva and nation-building envisioned by Swami Vivekananda.

वडोदरा में 1,00,000(एक लाख) सूर्यनमस्कार

 विवेकानंद केन्द्र - कन्याकुमारी, गुजरात प्रांत के वडोदरा विभाग द्वारा लॉक डाउन में कार्यकर्ताओ को अपने घरों में ही नित्य सूर्यनमस्कार करने का आह्वाहन किया गया था। जिसमे वडोदरा विभाग के 10 स्थानों से 151 कार्यकर्ताओ द्वारा  नित्य सूर्यनमस्कार किये जा रहे है। एवं किये गए सूर्यनमस्कार की  रिपोर्टिंग नित्य सायं अपने स्थान के व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप में की जाती है। जहा से रात्रि में समस्त रिपोर्ट का संकलन किया जाता है। साथ ही कुछ अभिवन प्रयोग भी किये गए, जैसे 
 - सप्ताह में एक दिवस प्रान्त के आह्वाहन पर पूरे प्रान्त के कार्यकर्ताओ द्वारा एक लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने का प्रयत्न।
 - नित्य अपने नाम के स्थान पर थीम के अनुसार रिपोर्ट करना, थीम इस प्रकार रही :- माँ, पिताजी, बहन स्वातंत्र सेनानी, बलिदानी, ऋषि/संत, देवी, एवं क्षमता से अधिक आदि।
 साथ ही कार्यकर्ताओ ने कार्यपध्दति के सहभागियों, सूर्यवंदनाके युवाओ, अपने मित्रो, परिवार के सदस्यों को भी प्रेरित कर सूर्यमनस्कार करने वालो की संख्या बढ़ाई, जिससे कार्यकर्ताओ का उत्साह बढ़ा।
 - कार्यकर्ताओ ने अपनी क्षमता कई गुना बढाते हुये, 500, 700 एवं 1200 सूर्यमनस्कार भी किये।

22 मार्च से 30 अप्रैल तक विभाग के कार्यकर्ताओ ने कुल 1,00,000(एक लाख) सूर्यनमस्कार  पूर्ण कर लिए है।

Human Torch Guinness record

A gigantic human torch formed by 1600 students at Akota stadium was the manifestation of excellence. The occasion was 150 birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda; starting of an  yearlong celebration of Sardh Shati Samaroha of the great cyclonic monk  by Vivekananda Kendra, HQ Kanyakumari  throughout the nation. Sports, culture and education forum of BRG group have taken care of imparting training to the students of Urmi School and Gujarat public school to make unique human torch. Saffron attire and rhythmic moves of the well trained participants just thrilled the audience when they witnessed the flickering of torch flame for 15 minutes.  Mr Richard Stanley, representative of Guinness book also saw the performance.

A Three Days residential Personality Development Camp - Vadodara

A Three Days residential Personality Development Camp was organised by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyaumari Branch Vadodara, At IOCL Town Ship Vadodara, from Date 22-4-11 to 24-4-11.

Reporting time was 4.00 PM On 22-4-11. Total no of participant in camp was 57 out which 17 were sthanik Karyakarta, 6 no of participant were from Santrampur and one from Anand.

First lecture was delivered by Shri Vilas ji Bhonde on “ADARSH DINCHARYA ” and inspired participants to look at their current DINCHARYA and develop new “ADARSH DINCHARYA” based on inputs given in lecture ,and in Manthan they discussed the subject and the presented the outcome in PRASTUTI SATRA. An participant wrote and recite a nice poem showing how this camp inspired her for new life based on values.

A Creative workshop on Simple fundamental of science was conducted by Shri Prakash Bhai Joshi. Second Lecture on “SWAMI VIVEKANANDA EK DESHBHAKT” was delivered by Shailendra Bhai. Last day of the camp was dedicated for “SAMSKAR VARG” fisrt Lecture was jointly delivered by Shri Pramod Ji Bhatt and Shri Sangram Bhai on SANSKAR and SANSKAR VARG.

Participants were full of energy while playing “TANK YUDDH” & “MATIRE KI PHANK” in KHEL SATRA, and Story of RANI CHENNAMA and MADAN LAL DHINGRA Also Motivated participants.

Concluding Session or AHUTI SATRA for Participants and their Parents was Delivered by NAYANA BEN TRIVEDI , showing what is character and why it is required in today’s time.
