Sadhana Diwas Celebration and the concluding ceremony of the Science and Arts Exhibition at VKV Kanyakumari

The Sadhana Diwas Celebration and the concluding ceremony of the Science and Arts Exhibition were organized by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu Prant), on 19th November 2025 at Swami Vivekananda Sabhagriham, Vivekanandapuram. A total of 1400 participants including students, teachers, and parents attended the programme.

Sadhana Diwas, observed annually on 19 November, commemorates the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Shri Eknathji Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra and the visionary behind the construction of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The programme began at 2:00 p.m. and Sri Charanjit of Class IX was the Master of Ceremony.

The event commenced with an invocation rendered by the students of Class VII, creating a serene and devotional ambiance. Kum. L. Samiksha of Class VII welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries, teachers, parents, and students, briefly highlighting the purpose of celebrating Sadhana. Sri Wiranjan of Class IX presented the significance of Sadhana Diwas, emphasizing its message of discipline, dedication, and self-improvement. This was followed by students’ presentations, where Kum. J. Sarva Rakshithasri, the winner of the music competition, presented a melodious song, and Kum. J. S. Mathu Varshini, the elocution competition winner, delivered a speech on the theme “Digital India.”

Dr. T. C. MaheshPrincipal of Vivekananda College, Agasteeswaram, delivered the Chief Guest’s Address, speaking on the ideals of Sadhana Diwas and its relevance in daily life. He referred to the disciplined lifestyles of leaders such as Jayaprakash Narayan and Nanaji Deshmukh and quoted Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts on Sadhana. He highlighted that life is full of challenges and that one must convert these challenges into opportunities for Sadhana. He stressed the importance of practising discipline, respect, and helpfulness every day, appreciated the value-based education of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, and congratulated the participants of the Science Exhibition. A musical presentation by students of Class VII further enhanced the programme.

In the Presidential Address, Aadaraneeya Kum. Radha Didi, Secretary (Administration) Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari highlighted that all branches of Vivekananda Kendra and Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas across the country observe Sadhana Diwas with devotion and dedication. She emphasized the importance of imbibing discipline and sincerity in life. She shared her experience with Class VI students of VKV Kanyakumari during their visit to Gangotri within the Vivekananda Kendra campus, recalling the students’ enthusiasm in learning about its spiritual significance and cultural value. She expressed heartfelt condolences on the passing of Smt. Chembi Ammal, acknowledging her dedicated service and offering prayers for peace. She congratulated all participants of the Science Exhibition and expressed gratitude to the teachers and mentors for their efforts. She concluded by reminding everyone that the ultimate purpose of education is to shape responsible, compassionate, and value-oriented human beings.

Prizes for various events, including the Science Exhibition and Children’s Day competitions, were awarded by Dr. T. C. Mahesh and Aa. Radha Didi, encouraging and appreciating the achievers. A memento was then presented to the Chief Guest as a gesture of gratitude for his inspiring presence. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Carlie Maria of Class IX, who expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The celebration concluded with the Kendra Prarthana.

Sadhana Diwas Celebration at RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Nagarsthan celebrated Sadhana Diwas during the Shakthi Samskara Varga on 16th November 2025 at Samhita School of Performing Arts. A total of 26 participants, including 25 students and 1 Shikshak, took part in the celebration.

The children were introduced to the significance of Sadhana Diwas and learnt the song “Vandana Abhinandana.” They were also inspired through accounts of young National Bravery Award recipients, encouraging them to cultivate courage and grow into responsible and brave children of Bharat Mata.

Sadhana Diwas Celebration at Hebbal

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Hebbal Branch organized the Sadhana Diwas programme during Kendra Varga on 15th November 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Kendra Karyalaya in Hebbal. A total of 18 participants attended the event.

The programme began with three Omkaras, followed by the Panchanga reading by Shri Vaidya ji. Shri Prasad ji presented the Subhashita “Mukta Saṅgo’nahaṁ vādi” from the Bhagavad Gita, a favourite śloka of Mananeeya Shri Eknathji. This was followed by the song “Vandana Abhinandana” rendered by Smt. Rajashree ji. Ms. Smitha ji spoke on the significance of Sadhana Diwas, highlighting the qualities exemplified by Eknathji—service-mindedness, unwavering willpower, determination, and hard work. Reading from the book Spiritualizing Life was conducted by Ms. Sitalakshmi ji and followed by an insightful group discussion.

The programme concluded with the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana, after which the karyakartas did pushparpan to Mananeeya Shri Eknathji. The event reaffirmed the collective responsibility and the spirit of selfless service among all karyakartas.

Amrit Parivar Milan and Bhajan Sandhya at Silpukhri Vistar in Guwahati

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, Kamrup Vibhag organized Amrit Pariwar Milan and Bhajan Sandhya at Silpukhri Vistar, Guwahati on 14th November 2025 at the Residence of Shri Dhaneswar Kalita. A total of 44 participants attended the gathering.

The programme began with the prayer led by Ad. Minoti Barman Baido, followed by devotional bhajans rendered by the Karyakartas, creating an inspiring and devotional atmosphere. Senior Karyakartas including Ad. Smita Didi, Ad. Rupali Kalita Baido, Ad. Arup Bora, and Ad. Kalyan Dutta were present along with other karyakarthas of the Vibhag and Nagar.

Ad. Kalyan Dutta, IT Pramukh of Kamrup Vibhag, explained the meanings of the mantras and shlokas sung, including the Kendra Prayer. He spoke on the significance of Amrit Pariwar, emphasising unity and social responsibility in the context of the current demographic challenges in Assam. He elaborated on the concept of the 5-S—Sukhi, Sampanna, Sostha, Sanskar-Sram, and Samaj-Dharana—and encouraged all families to adopt these values. Following his appeal, two Sankuls were unanimously formed with five families each: Maharishi Dadhichi Sankul and Maharishi Patanjali Sankul.

Earlier, Ad. Rupali Kalita Baido highlighted the 6-B principles of Amrit Pariwar— Bhasha, Bhusha, Bhojan, Bhajan, Bhawan, Bhraman. During the programme, Smt. Purnima Kalita Das was felicitated for receiving the State Government’s Best Teacher Award.

It was decided that the next Amrit Pariwar Samimilan at the Vibhag level will be held on 16 November 2025 at 3:00 PM at VKIC, Uzanbazar, with Param Pujaniya Mananeeya Nandalal Joshi (Babaji), All India Kutumba Prabodhan Sadasya, as the Chief Speaker.

The programme concluded with the Kendra Prarthana.

Children’s Day Celebration at VKV Kanyakumari

The Children’s Day celebration at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu Prant), was held on 14th November 2025 at Swami Vivekananda Sabhagruham from 2 p.m. onwards. The programme, presided over by Mananeeya Rekha Davey Didi, Joint General Secretary of VRM & VK, featured Dr. A. Mariammal, Assistant Professor at Sathakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli, as the Chief Guest. Master of Ceremony Kum. S. Ashiha of class IX B conducted the event, which saw the enthusiastic participation of 1,200 students, teachers, and staff.

The programme commenced with a devotional invocation rendered by the boys of class VII, setting a serene tone for the celebration. Kum. Siva Abirami of class VIII delivered the welcome address, greeting the Chief Guest, the President of the programme, school authorities, teachers, students, and all attendees. Following this, Kum. Sarva Rakshitha Sree of class IV spoke on the significance of Children’s Day.

The Chief Guest, Dr. A. Mariammal, addressed the gathering with an inspiring message. She conveyed warm wishes to all students and appreciated the participants of the Science Exhibition for their creativity. Quoting Swami Vivekananda’s powerful message, All power is within you,” she urged students to remain confident, believe in their abilities, and strive for excellence. She highlighted the value of hard work, discipline, and sustained effort, referencing the teachings of Thiruvalluvar and citing examples of great personalities who overcame early struggles. She also emphasized that modern society expects not just academic performance but skills, technological awareness, and problem-solving ability. Encouraging students to engage in extracurricular activities, NCC, NSS, and sports, she shared the example of the creators of Talking Tom to demonstrate how ambition, combined with mental and physical effort, leads to success. She concluded with the motivating reminder, “Trying is the magic of victory—try, try, and try your best.”

A memento was then presented to the Chief Guest by Mananeeya Rekha Didi.

In her presidential address, Mananeeya Rekha Didi encouraged students to participate in all activities without fear of success or failure. She emphasized that dedication and consistent effort matter more than the fear of outcome, drawing examples from the lives of eminent scientists. She advised students to minimize the use of mobile phones, cultivate purposeful living, and focus on discipline, character development, and continuous learning.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by M. B. Aarthi of class VIII, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, school authorities, teachers, participants, and students for contributing to the success of the celebration. The event came to a close with the Kendra Prarthana.

Amrit Parivar Milan and Bhajan Sandhya at Lalganesh Nagar and Guwahati

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, Kamrup Vibhag organized an Amrit Pariwar Milan and Bhajan Sandhya on 10th November 2025 at Bhaskar Nagar vistar of Lalganesh Nagar and at Yoga Aragyam, Udalbakra Vistar, Guwahati. The Milan at Bhaskar Nagar was hosted at the residence of Ad. Sujata Das Didi, while the Udalbakra Vistar programme was held at the Yoga Aragyam premises. The programmes were attended by 25 participants at Bhaskar Nagar Bistar and 32 participants at Udalbakra Bistar.

The event was graced by Ad. Alaka Gauri Didi, Jeevan Vrati and Assam Prant Sangathak; Ad. Smita Didi, Jeevan vrati and Sahitya Seva Pramukh, Kamrup Vibhag; Ad. Arup Bora, Kamrup Vibhag Pramukh; along with other dedicated karyakartas of the Vibhag and Nagar.

The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by devotional bhajans offered by the karyakartas, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting environment. Addressing the gathering, Ad. Arup Bora Dada emphasized the contemporary relevance of Amrit Pariwar and encouraged the participants to understand its core values and embody the guidelines in their family and social life.

He further appealed for Sankul formation within the participating families. Accordingly, two new Sankuls were unanimously formed—Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa Sankul at Bhaskar Nagar Vistar and Sister Nivedita Sankul at Udalbakra Vistar. It was also decided that the next Amrit Pariwar Milan would be held on 14th November 2025 at the residence of Ad. Dhaneswar Kalita Dada of Ugratara Nagar.

Amrit Parivar Milan and Bhajan Sandhya at Guwahati

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant, Kamrup Vibhag organized an Amrit Parivar Milan and Bhajan Sandhya on 9th November 2025 at the Basistha Karyasthan of Kalakshetra Nagar, Guwahati hosted at the residence of Shri Paban Jyoti Pator and Ad. Piku Moni Borgohain Didi. The programme saw the participation of 45 attendees.

The Milan was graced by Ad. Meera Kulkarni Didi, Jeevan vrati and Joint Secretary, VKSPV & SecretaryVKIC; Ad. Subrata Mukherjee, Karyapadhati Pramukh, Assam Prant; Ad. Dhira Deka Baido, Samparka Pramukh, Assam Prant; Ad. Arup Bora, Kamrup Vibhag Pramukh; Ad. Kalyan Dutta, IT Pramukh, Kamrup Vibhag; and other dedicated karyakartas of the Vibhag and Nagar.

The programme began with a prayer session, followed by devotional bhajans that enriched the spiritual ambiance. Ad. Piku Moni Borgohain Baido offered a heartfelt remembrance of Mananeeya Lt. Mridula Pator and invited Ad. Kalyan Dutta Dada to deliver the keynote address. In his message, he highlighted the relevance of Amrit Pariwar in the present demographic context of Assam and urged participants to uphold the 5-S (Sukhi, Sampanna, Swasthya, Samskar-sram, Samaj Dharana) and 6-B (Bhasha, Bhusha, Bhojan, Bhajan, Bhawan, Bhraman) values of Amrita Parivar. He appealed to the gathered families to initiate Sankul formation, following which two Sankuls were unanimously formed—Srimanta Sankardev Sankul and Srimanta Madhav Dev Sankul.

Earlier, Kum. Tanushri Deka presented a melodious tribute song dedicated to Iswar Putra Zubeen Garg. It was decided to conduct the next Amrit Pariwar Milan on 10th November 2025 at the residence of Ad. Sujata Das (Bhaskar Nagar Vistar, Lalganesh Nagar) and on 14th November 2025 at the residence of Ad. Dhaneswar Kalita Dada (Ugratara Nagar). The programme concluded with the Kendra Prarthana and light refreshments.

150th Anniversary of National Song Vande Mataram Celebration at RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Nagarsthan celebrated the 150th Anniversary of National Song Vande Mataram on 9th November 2025 at Samhita School of Performing Arts. A total of 26 students participated in the programme.

During the celebration, the students collectively sang the national song and learnt about its historical and cultural significance, fostering a deeper sense of patriotism and respect for Bharat's civilizational heritage.

150th Anniversary of Nation Song Vande Mataram Celebrated at VKV Changlang

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh commemorated the 150th Anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram with great enthusiasm and reverence on 7th November 2025. The programme was graced by the presence of Shri Vishal Sah, Deputy Commissioner, Changlang, along with Principal Smt. Priyanka Tiwari, faculty members, 270 students, 17 officials from the administrative department, and 8 other attendees.

The celebration began with a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram by the students, joined by the Deputy Commissioner, Principal, and teachers, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism and unity. The melodious chorus evoked deep pride and respect for the nation.

Following the song, all participants—students, teachers, and administrative officials—watched the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s live address, which enriched the occasion. His message underscored the historical significance of Vande Mataram and its enduring role in strengthening national unity.

The programme concluded with light refreshments, marking the end of a memorable celebration that rekindled a profound sense of national pride among all who attended.

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Ferrargunj celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram with great enthusiasm on 7th November, 2025. A total of 146 students, 11 teachers, and 3 non-teaching staff members participated in the programme.

The celebration began with an address by a teacher, who highlighted the historical significance and inspiring message of Vande Mataram. The event concluded with the melodious collective singing of the national song, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and devotion to the Motherland.

150th Anniversary Celebration of “Vande Mataram” at VKV Bokuloni

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Bokuloni, Arunachal Pradesh, organised a special programme to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Bharat’s national song “Vande Mataram” on 7th November 2025. The celebration began during the morning assembly with a spirited and soulful rendition of the song, setting a patriotic and inspirational tone. Students were further oriented on the historical significance and cultural importance of Vande Mataram through an engaging and informative presentation.

As part of the outreach initiative, VKV Bokuloni students visited neighbouring schools to teach their peers the national song, fostering a sense of unity and shared cultural pride. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation across three institutions. At Chichia M.V. School, 197 students and 25 teachers joined the chorus, while Chichia Girls School saw the participation of 259 students and 26 teachers. VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni contributed the largest group with 496 students and 30 teaching and non-teaching staff. In total, 1,033 participants came together in a collective celebration of the legacy and message of Vande Mataram, making the occasion memorable and deeply inspiring for all.

150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram Celebrated at Ranchi Tekri

Vivekananda Kendra Nagar Palika Vidyalaya, Ranchi Tekri South celebrated the 150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram with patriotic enthusiasm during the morning assembly on 7th November, 2025. A total of 518 students, 24 teaching staff, 5 non-teaching staff, and 27 parents and well-wishers participated in the celebration.

The collective singing of Vande Mataram created an inspiring atmosphere, instilling pride, unity, and devotion towards the Motherland among all attendees.

150th Anniversary Celebration of “Vande Mataram” at VKV Kallubalu

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kallubalu (Karnataka Prant) organized a special program on 7th November 2025 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the creation of Bharat’s National Song “Vande Mataram” (7 November 1875). The event was held at Kuvempu Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 9:10 a.m., with the participation of 343 students, 13 teachers, and 2 non-teaching staff members.

The program, compered by Kum. Varsha of Class 10, commenced with the opening prayer led by Kum. Deepika. Shri Parappa Shigli delivered an insightful explanation on the significance of Vande Mataram, drawing upon important episodes from the life of Shri Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, the composer of the National Song.

A graceful classical dance performance on Vande Mataram by Kum. Elakshi of Class 9 added a cultural vibrancy to the celebration. This was followed by a clear and meaningful explanation of each stanza of the song by Kum. Shakuntala of Class 9.

The program reached its emotional peak with the mass singing of “Vande Mataram”, which evoked deep patriotic sentiments among all present. The gathering concluded with the National Anthem and the Shanti mantra.

150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram Celebrated at VKV Sri Vijaya Puram

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands) commemorated the 150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram with great patriotic fervour during the morning assembly on 7th November 2025. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from 1,179 students, 49 teachers, 4 non-teaching staff, and 9 bhaiyas and didis, who together presented a grand and melodious rendition of the national song.

The harmonious singing of Vande Mataram filled the campus with a deep sense of devotion and love for the Motherland, inspiring all to reflect upon the cultural heritage and national spirit that the song embodies.

150th Anniversary of National Song Vande Mataram Celebrated by VKVVF

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur commemorated the 150th Anniversary of the National Song Vande Mataram on 7th November 2025 at VKVVF, Kodungulur. A total of 19 participants — 12 children from Sandeepani Sishu Vihar and 7 elders — took part in the programme.

As part of the nationwide celebration, the children, along with their teachers and senior karyakartas, collectively sang Vande Mataram in the presence of Mananeeya Lakshmi Didi, Director of VK-VVF creating an atmosphere of devotion, patriotism, and cultural pride.

150th Anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram celebrated at Eknath Vibhag

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, West Bengal Prant, Eknath Vibhag commemorated the 150th Anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram with patriotic fervor on 7th November 2025. The full Vande Mataram song was sung with befitting programmes at eight locations spread across three Karyastans of Eknath Vibhag.

The celebrations were organised in Yoga Vargas, Vistars, and Schools, ensuring participation from different layers of the society. A total of 191 people enthusiastically took part in the programmes, expressing devotion to the Motherland and honouring the cultural and historical significance of Vande Mataram.

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Pahalgaon, organized a special observance on November 7, 2025, to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram during the morning assembly. A total of 415 students, 19 teachers, and 6 support staff members participated in the programme.

The event commenced with an address by Shri Prashanta ji, who highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Vande Mataram and its pivotal role in India’s freedom movement. This was followed by a melodious group rendition of the song, which filled the campus with patriotic fervor. The harmonious participation of students and teachers fostered an atmosphere of unity and devotion to the Motherland, inspiring everyone to uphold the values of respect, service, and dedication to the nation.

150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram Celebrated at VKV Diglipur

Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalaya, Diglipur in Andaman and Nicobar Islands (West Bengal Prant) proudly celebrated the 150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram during the morning assembly. A total of 508 students, along with 24 teaching and 3 non-teaching staff members, participated in the programme.

The melodious rendering of Vande Mataram filled the campus with a deep sense of patriotic fervour. The celebration served as a reminder of Bharat’s rich cultural heritage and the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters for the nation’s independence. It further highlighted our collective duty to protect and serve our motherland with dedication and pride.

Yoga Satra at Kanyakumari

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu Prant organized a 10-day Yoga Satra from 26th October to 4th November 2025 at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari. A total of 18 participants took part in the Satra, which was conducted by Kum. Sumitra Didi, Tamil Nadu Prant Pravasi Karyakarta, and Shri Udayakumar, Tamil Nadu Prant IT Pramukh.

A Kendra Varga was also held on Sunday, 2 November 2025, with the participation of 23 members, including the Kendra Varga Toli of VKV Kanyakumari. Adarneeya Kum. Radha Devi Didi, Secretary (Administration) and Prant Sangathak for Tamil Nadu & Kerala Prants, addressed the gathering and introduced the concept of Amrit Parivar to the participants.

The next Yoga Satra is planned for December 2025, after which a regular Yoga Varga will be initiated.

Personality Development Camp for Class VI students of VKV Kanyakumari

The Personality Development Camp for Class VI students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu Prant) was conducted from 2nd November 2025 at 8:00 a.m. to 4th November 2025 at 11:00 a.m., with a total participation of 81 students and teachers. The camp was designed to develop confidence, communication, leadership qualities, positive thinking, discipline, cooperation, and creativity among students, helping them grow into responsible and capable individuals in both their personal and academic lives.

On the first day, the students reported at 8:00 a.m. and were accommodated in Satyakam, Training Center, Vivekanandapuram. The camp began with an introductory address by the Principal, Smt. K. G. Sariga, at 9:30 a.m. The first session at 10:00 a.m. was led by the Chief Guest, Smt. Sumitha, who narrated stories of the Nayanmars and explaining the values of Shaivam, engaging the students through questions and discussions. The second session at 11:15 a.m. was conducted by Kum. Leela Akka from the Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, who narrated incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda and encouraged the students to develop spiritual insights. She also presented a patriotic song at 12:15 p.m., after which lunch was served at 12:45 p.m. In the afternoon, Smt. Chandra Kala addressed the third session by narrating the Mahabharata, followed by an interactive segment. Kendra Varga was then conducted by teachers Sri R. Manikumar and Smt. Chandra Kala, who taught loosening exercises and various games. The day continued with Bhajan Sandhya at 6:30 p.m., and after dinner, the students concluded the day with a joyful assembly.

The second day began with Pratasmaran and a yoga session conducted by Sri R. Manikumar. From 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the students participated in Shramadan. The first session at 9:30 a.m. was conducted by Dr. R. Sundara Kumar, who spoke about the challenges faced by Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade during the construction of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The session was interactive, and students noted important insights. The next session at 11:00 a.m. was handled by Smt. Sumathi and Smt. Sutha, who narrated the Ramayana with clarity and engaged the students with questions. They concluded with a patriotic song, followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. In the afternoon, at 2:00 p.m., the students visited the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where they learned about the significance of the Rock Memorial, Shripada Mandapam, the Dhyana Mandapam, and the Vivekananda Murti. After a group photograph, they returned to Satyakam at 4:45 p.m. The evening Bhajan Sandhya was held at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. The day concluded with student presentations based on incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda.

The final day began with Pratasmaran at 6:00 a.m., followed by Surya Namaskar practice led by Sri R. Manikumar, who also chanted the mantras. The concluding session was delivered by Sri S. Sanjeevi Rajan, Vice-Principal of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari, who encouraged students to internalize and practice moral values in daily life. The Personality Development Camp concluded with memorable insights and enriching experiences for all participants.

Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration at RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Nagarsthan organized the Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration during the Shakthi Samskara Varga on 2 November 2025 at Samhita School of Performing Arts. The program witnessed the participation of 29 students and 2 Shikshaks, totalling 31 attendees.

The celebration commenced with the Prayer followed by Deepa Prajwalan performed by elders and students. All participants collectively sang ‘Hachevu Kannadada Deepa’, enriching the atmosphere with cultural pride. Sri Jaswanth Anna presented a Subhashita and explained its meaning to the students.

Tulasi Vandana Shloka was taught, after which Thara Didi narrated the significance of Kannada Rajyotsava and the tradition of Tulasi Pooja. Continuing the cultural learning, Sri Bharath Ji guided the students in drawing the Tulasi Rangoli.

The session concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana. The program ended with the rendition of the Nada Geethe, J’ai Bharatha Jananiya Tanujate’, marking a meaningful and patriotic celebration.
