Sadhana Diwas Celebration 2025 at VKV Vallioor

The Sadhana Diwas Celebration, along with the concluding ceremony of the Science and Arts Exhibition, was organized by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vallioor (VKV-Vallioor, Tamil Nadu Prant), on 19 November 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The programme was graced by Shri Ramnath Iyer, MBA, LLB, Central Government Standing Counsel, and Sri Iyyappan JiSecretary, VK-RDP. A total of 1,340 participants attended the celebration.

Sadhana Diwas, observed annually on 19 November, commemorates the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Shri Eknathji Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra and the visionary behind the construction of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

The programme commenced with a prayer song rendered by Class IX students, setting a devotional tone. Kum. Anjana of Class XI delivered the welcome address, formally greeting the chief guests and the gathering. This was followed by a classical Bharatham dance performance by Class XI students, showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage.

A thematic conversation on “Rock Memorial” was then presented by Class XI students, highlighting the significance of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the vision of Mananeeya Shri Eknathji Ranade in establishing Vivekananda Kendra. This was followed by a patriotic Hindi dance that emphasized national pride and cultural unity.

The chief guests addressed the students, appreciating the school’s discipline, values, and holistic development. Their remarks underscored the institution’s continued efforts in nurturing responsible and culturally grounded citizens.

The celebration also included a prize distribution ceremony, where students were recognized for their achievements, adding an inspiring and joyous note to the event. Kum. Bhanumathi of Class XI delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants.

The programme concluded with the Kendra Prarthana.
