Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration at RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Nagarsthan organized the Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration during the Shakthi Samskara Varga on 2 November 2025 at Samhita School of Performing Arts. The program witnessed the participation of 29 students and 2 Shikshaks, totalling 31 attendees.

The celebration commenced with the Prayer followed by Deepa Prajwalan performed by elders and students. All participants collectively sang ‘Hachevu Kannadada Deepa’, enriching the atmosphere with cultural pride. Sri Jaswanth Anna presented a Subhashita and explained its meaning to the students.

Tulasi Vandana Shloka was taught, after which Thara Didi narrated the significance of Kannada Rajyotsava and the tradition of Tulasi Pooja. Continuing the cultural learning, Sri Bharath Ji guided the students in drawing the Tulasi Rangoli.

The session concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana. The program ended with the rendition of the Nada Geethe, J’ai Bharatha Jananiya Tanujate’, marking a meaningful and patriotic celebration.
