Gita Jayanti Celebration at Amalapuram

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, Godavari Vibhag, Amalapuram Branch, celebrated Gita Jayanti on 30th November 2025, with the participation of 38 attendees. The programme was organized with the objective of deepening understanding of the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and encouraging their application in daily life.

The celebration commenced with prayer, followed by a brief introductory address highlighting the spiritual and philosophical significance of Gita Jayanti. As part of the observance, a Gita Recitation Competition based on the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita was conducted, providing participants an opportunity to engage directly with the sacred text.

During the programme, the participants collectively took the Bhagavad Gita Kutumba Deeksha Sankalp, reaffirming their commitment to imbibe and practice Gita-based values in their personal and family lives. A short quiz on the Bhagavad Gita was also conducted, making the learning process interactive and reinforcing key concepts.

The Gita Jayanti message of Mananeeya Nivedita Didi was read out and discussed, offering valuable guidance and inspiration to the gathering. This was followed by a Pushpanjali to Omkar, performed by all participants with devotion.

Mementos and certificates were distributed to encourage participation and appreciation of scriptural study. The programme concluded with the Shanti Mantra, followed by the distribution of Prasad to all attendees.
