MYSORE ACTIVITIES REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2011 & PROGRAMMES FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2011
Karyapaddati:
1. Yoga Varga: 1 place at Laxmipuram.
2. Samskara Varga: 2 Places – at Reserve Bank of India Quartres and Laxmipura.
3. Swadhaya Varga : 1 place at Laxmipuram.
Book exhibition cum sales: This month 3 times arranged exhibition at Sanskrit College, R B I Quarters. Ganesha temple at R B I.
Bhajan Sandhya: Daily Bhajan at Kendra is going on.
Amruta Surabhi: This month nearly 100 k g rice collected and donated to different needy organization.
Guru poornima celebration: On 15th July, we celebrated Guru Pornima celebration at Maharaja Sanskrit college, Mysore. Sri Veda Mohan, Prof. Enginnering College spoke on the topic Guru shishya parampara and regarding Saraswati river also.
Vijaya hi Vijay ( Vijaya poorna Vijaya): project vijay hi vijay work is going on well. Contact work and making teams in all district is going on.
PROGRAMMES FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2011
1.Yoga satra at 2 place – morning 7am to 8 am and evening 6pm to 7pm.
2.Exhibition on swami Vivekananda’s Life and message at Vijayanagar vistar, R B I vistar,
3.Anandalaya- daily
4.Rakshabandan celebration
5.Swatantra dinachrana celebration
6.Sri Krishna Janmastami celebration- competition on Krishna fancy dress, Bhajan, Bhgavadgita Dhyana shloka, Drawing, Quiz on Sri Krishna.
7.Interschool cultural competition on patriotic song, essay, elocuation and drawing.

Report of the Activities of Vivekananda Kendra Hyderabad-2010-11
We are happy to present the report of activities of Vivekananda Kendra Hyderabad for the year 2010 – 11. (April to March)
- Kendra has 4 centers in Hyderabad at Ameerpet, Dilsukhnagar, Baghlingampalli and Kachiguda
- This year we could organize / conduct more than 200 programmes and classes in which more than 15,000 people participated / got benefitted.
Daily Programmes -
- Usually we start the day with Pranayama and Meditation Class of 45 minutes, which sets the Day for us.
- Followed by, two sessions of Yogasanas at Ameerpet and one Session at Dilsukhnagar, Immediately followed by Classes on Spoken English etc.
- Again in the evening regular Yoga/Pranayama Classes at Ameerpet , Dilsukhnagar andKachiguda are conducted. Followed by personality development /spoken English advanced course at Ameerpet.
- A regular, free coaching class for the class ten students is conducted at Dilsukhnagar.
Weekly and Monthly programmes-
- Apart from regular programmes we could conduct many weekly/Monthly programmes of Satsang,Bhajans Sandhyas, Free Medical camps, Eye camps, visits to Old age homes and orphanages , Deep Poojas etc. Competitions for school and college students, personality development camps etc were also conducted from time to time.
Occasional Programmes-
- All celebrations like National Youth Day, Universal Brotherhood Day, Sadhana Diwas, Gita Jyanti, Shankara Jayanti etc were conducted with full piety and grace.

Karyapaddathi (Regular Activity):
Yoga Varga: 3 places with 100 people.
Swadhaya Varga: 1 places with 20 people.
Samskara Varga: 4 places with 100 children.
Yoga Satra: 14 yoga satras. 168 people benefited.
Meditation Class: 10 days meditation class organized 28 people attended the class. Every weekend meditation class going on regularly.
Anandalaya - Value based education for Economically backward class : 2 places with 78 children from class 1 to 10th standard
Free Medical Service: 12 camp organized. Nearly 780 people benefited and one operated.
Free Computer class: 54 students got trained. 2 students trained in tally.
Annadhanam: Every Sundays we are organizing Annadhanam. 960 people took part.
Bhajan Class: Anandalaya children performs bhajan in nearby 3 temples every week.
Deepa Pooja: 6 times performed Deepa pooja at Kendra and nearby 2 temples. Nearly 600 people performed pooja. Deepa pooja conducted at 2 slums, nearly 75 ladies attended.
Shiva Pooja: On Shivaratri Day Shiva Pooja performed nearly 180 people performed Pancha Limga Pooja.
Education Aid distributed to 400 students in this year. 7 cycles distributed to needy children.
Utsavas:
Gurupoornima: Gurupoornima utsava celebrated at 2 places.
Universal Brotherhood Day celebrated at 3 places with 700 people. Sri Jagadish Bapat, Professor Amrutha Institute of Technology. Anandalaya children and samskaravarga children performed cultural programmes.
Sadhana Diwas: 19th of November all karyakartas gathered and took their daitwa. 70 karyakartas are attended.
Geeta Jayanthi: celebrated at 3 places. Sri Srinivasaiahji was the main speaker in this event. At Vidyaranyapura center we celebrated Geeta Saptaha.
Samartha Bharata Parva/ Vivekananda Jayanti: 8 places organized vivekananda Jayanthi and Viveka Sandesha – Exibition on Swamiji’s life and message. Nearly 8000 peoples attended the programme. On 12th January, Smt. Sabita Rao. Retd. Professor talked about Samartha Bharat and achievements of bharat in different field.
Other festivals:
Sri Krishna Janmastami, Mahashivaratri festivals celebrated in grand manner.
On Rathasaptami Day, 101 Samuhika suryanamaskar performed by all yoga participated, anandalaya children. 128 people performed suryanamaskar.
Swadhaya Copmetition
At 3 colleges we organized swadhaya examination on the life and message of swami vivekananda. 128 students wrote the examination.
Cultural competition:
On the occasion of U B Day and Samartha Bharata Parva, organized cultural meet at school and college level. Patriotic song, Essay, Quiz, Drawing, Rangoli, Elocution and Drama on incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda are the main topics in the cultural meet. 980 students from 18 schools and 58 students from 3 colleges participated.
On 18th December, we celebrated Anandalaya Annual Day.
Sports meet: On occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, organized sports meet, 98 students from 9 schools participated in kho-kho match. Annual anandalaya Sports celebrated in the month of December.
Free Bhratanatya class: 18 students learning classical dance.
