Vivekananda Kendra Gwalior Distributed ration to the needy people.

Vivekananda Kendra Madurai distributed ration items in bags containing

1. Rice - 5 kg
2.Toor dhall - 1 kg
3. Orid dhall - 1 kg
4. Rava - 1 kg
5. Sugar - 1 kg
6. Edible oil - 1 litre
7. Wheat atta - 2 kg

These items were distributed to 36 needy families in and around Madurai on 5th and 6th May.

VK Ajmer Corona Relief Work

विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी की अजमेर शाखा द्वारा आज दिनांक 4 मई तक कोरोना वायरस के कारण दीन एवं आर्त जनों हेतु सेवा प्रकल्प के तहत राशि 76907/- रुपयों का एकत्रीकरण विवेकानंद केंद्र के दायित्ववान कार्यकर्ताओं एवं हित चिंतकों के माध्यम से किया गया है।
इस राशि से निम्नांकित प्रकार राशन किट तैयार किया जा रहा है और विवेकानंद केंद्र के कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा किए गए सर्वे के आधार पर जरूरतमंद परिवारों को यह किट वितरित किया जा रहा है।
विवेकानंद केंद्र अजमेर के दायित्व वान कार्यकर्ताओं एवं हित चिंतकों द्वारा नर सेवा नारायण सेवा हेतु प्रदत्त सहयोग राशि से कार्य शुरू हो गया है
अब तक 25 परिवारों तक सामग्री वितरित की जा चुकी है
आगे किट बनाने का काम जारी है और सर्वे के अनुसार परिवारों में राहत सामग्री किट दो-तीन दिन में पूर्ण वितरित होने की संभावना है।

VK Kadapa Corona Relief Work

Vivekananda Kendra Kadapa team distributed much needed groceries to 18 families in kadapa Outskirts and gave butter milk and lassi for Police department as a token of appreciation.
54 families were supported with rice and groceries worth Rs 500 per family at Amangol(hyatnagar) and munaganoor, on 6th and 7th May by Vivekkananda Kendra Dilsukhnagar centre, Hyderabad Vibhag.
Donations Collected : 10116/-

VK Jammu Corona Relief Work

Distributed double layer 3 ply hand made masks to the needy.
Details of distribution given below :
1. 273 masks to on duty Police and Paramilitary force under Sewa For Saviours
2. 159 mask to people in different areas who were without mask.

Sewa for Saviours
Started this Activity to pay a tribute to our Frontline warriors( Police and Paramilitary force ) who are working without taking any rest in this epidemic.
So, as a mark of respect we have coducted this activity by distributing Amul Buttermilk, Fruits, Mask and Biscuit to 273 security personnel who are on duty in different locations in Jammu Division of J&K. During this Drive we also covered some forest area.

25 अप्रेल 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 595 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 355 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया।
27 अप्रेल 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 780 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 314 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया।
28 अप्रेल 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 393 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 340 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया।
29 अप्रेल 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 680 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 325 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया।
30 अप्रेल 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 545 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 380 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया। आयुर्वेदिक काढ़ा 90 पुलिस कर्मियो को पिलाया गया।
3 मई 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 360 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 346 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया। आयुर्वेदिक काढ़ा(पेय) 50 पुलिस कर्मियो को पिलाया गया।
4 मई 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 210 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 350 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया। आयुर्वेदिक काढ़ा(पेय) 50 पुलिस कर्मियो को पिलाया गया।
5 मई 2020 को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र लखनऊ का सेवा कार्य से 495 लोगो का राशन वितरित किया गया। 230 फूड पैकेट वितरित किया गया।( आयुर्वेदिक काढ़ा(पेय) 60 पुलिस कर्मियो को पिलाया गया। आयुर्वेदिक पेय की सामग्री एक कप हेतु मात्रा काली मिर्च4 दाना, दालचीनी हाथ के अंगूठे के नाखून के बराबर, अजवाइन, चने के दाने के बराबर, लौंग 2, तुलसी पांच पत्ती, पिपली एक, जावित्री जितनी दालचीनी है, तेजपत्र दो पत्ता, जवारांकुश एक फिट लम्बा पत्ता, पुदीना की 3 पत्तियां ,हरसिंगार की पत्ती 3, अदरक छुहारे के बराबर, , मुलेठी मटर के दाने के बराबर, गो जिह्वा एक छुआरे के बराबर , पेंसिल के बराबर गिलोय(अमृता) का डंठल गुड़ आवश्यकता अनुसार।)

VKRDP, Dhaksin prant - In Tenkasi district Sri Karuppasamy and their team gave rice pockets with vegetables to the twelve families from Kurinji Nagar,Indira Nagar & Mudalai kudiyiruppu villages on 23.04.2020.
In Tenkasi district , Courtallam & Shencottah area deserving aged and orphan people are served lunch this April month through our local karyakarthas.. From our Sambavar vadakarai tailoring unit 120 masks supplied to town panchayat office & police station thru our tailoring centers coordinator Ms.Nesam Karuppassmy.

VK Nagole - Corona Relief Work

(1) 25 Essential commodities kits to 25 families in Fathullaguda, Nagole
(2) 20 Essential commodities kits to 20 identified families of Archakas and Purohits in Nagole area.
(3) 8 Essential commodities kits to idenfied families in Nagole area.
(4) 50 kgs Rice and other daily needs to 40 children in Vastlayam Orphan Home, Nagole.
(5) 25 kgs rice and vegetables to four families of construction workers from other states at New Nagole colony.
(6) 125 kgs of rice, 25 kgs dall and 25 Litters of oil to 25 families of construction workers in Arunodaya Nagar colony, Nagole.
(7) 100kgs of Rice, Vegetables and fruits distributed to 20 families workers from Srikakulam and Mahabubnagar at Snehapuri Conlony.

VK Durgapur - Corona Relief Work

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Durgapur Nagar, (Paschim Banga Pranta) has started the Ration kit distribution to the needy families to support them in this Covid 19 pandemic situation.

In 2nd Phase : Today we have distributed 50 more ration kit with the help of CMERI Community

Organic farming in Lockdown period

VKIC and VK Skill Development coordinated efforts on the theme Development through Culture, Our agriculture efforts began in the year 2017 in Assam. Darrang district a group of youth is working in 38 villages covering beneficiary of 1200 families. During this lockdown. Karyakartas from Guwahati organized organic agricultural produce facilitated for Guwahati wellwishers. Kamrup Vibhag (Guwahati) 4 nagars organized distribution and youth received the apt price.
