"भारतीय संस्कृति" पुस्तक विमोचन कार्यक्रम - मध्य प्रांत

 

विवेकानंद केन्द्र कन्याकुमारीमध्य प्रांत के तत्वावधान में शीतला सहाय सभागारकैंसर चिकित्सालय में विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी की राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष "पद्मश्री सुश्री निवेदिता भिड़े द्वारा लिखित पुस्तक भारतीय संस्कृक्तिः चुनौतियां एवं सम्भावनायें के हिंदी संस्करण का लोकार्पण किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य वक्ता एवं मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में वैचारिक प्रबोधन हेतु पद्मश्री सुत्री निवेदिता भिड़े स्वयं उपस्थित रहीं। भारतीय संस्कृतिः चुनौतियां एवं सम्भावनायें की प्रस्तावना ख्यातिलब्ध विचारक एवं सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एडवोकेट जे. साई दीपक द्वारा लिखी गयी ।
कार्यक्रम में रामकृष्ण मिशन आश्रम ग्वालियर के सचिव स्वामी कृष्णामृतानंद महाराज की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति एवं श्री प्रहलाद सबनानीविभाग संचालक (राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ)डॉ बी. आर. श्रीवास्तवसंचालक (कैंसर चिकित्सालय एवं शोध संस्थान)श्री भंवर सिंह राजपूतमध्य प्रांत प्रकल्प प्रमुख (विवेकानंद केंद्र) का विशिष्ट आतिथ्य लाभ प्राप्त हुआ।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ हुआ। पद्मश्री सुत्री निवेदिता भिड़े दीदी ने मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में बोलते हुए बताया कि भारतीय संस्कृति के समक्ष बाह्य चुनौतियों से भी बड़ी चुनौती आंतरिक है। भारत के युवाओं की अभिरुचि भारतीय संस्कृति की ओर उन्मुख करने का प्रयास बहुत न्यून हैं इसलिए अन्य संस्कृतियां उन्हें अपनी तरफ आकर्षित करने का बढ़ चढ़ कर प्रयास कर रहे हैं। निवेदिता दीदी ने महर्षि अरविंद को उद्धृत करते हुए कहा कि सनातन धर्मसनातन संस्कृति ही सच्ची राष्ट्रीयता है। यदि सनातन धर्मसनातन संस्कृति पुष्ट होती है तो भारत राष्ट्र पुष्ट होता है। भारत की संस्कृति विश्व की सबसे प्रासंगिक संस्कृक्ति है। आज जिस तरह विभिन्न विचारों का हमारी युवा पीढ़ी पर आक्रमण हो रहा है उसके परिप्रेक्ष्य में हमें भारतीय संस्कृति को प्रस्तुत करना होगा। भारत की विशेषता है एकत्व दृष्टि। भारत की इस एकत्व दृष्टि की संपूर्ण विश्व को अपने अस्तित्व की रक्षा एवं सामाजिक शांति के लिए आवश्यकता है। एक ही आत्म चैतन्य भिन्न भिन्न रुपों में प्रकट हुआ है। निवेदिता दीदी ने कहा कि इस एकत्व दृष्टि के प्रकाश में ही सामाजिक एवं वैश्विक विभिन्नता को आत्मसात किया जा सकता है।

पूरा विश्व विघटनकारी शक्तियों से संघर्ष कर रहा है। सब अपने ही मार्ग को सत्य सिद्ध करने के प्रयास में विश्व कामानवता का ही विनाश करने को तत्परता से लगे हुए हैं। धर्मांतरण एवं आतंकवाद विविधता के अस्वीकार्य से उत्पन्न हुए हैं। भारतीय संस्कृति विविधता में एकत्व को देख पाती है।
विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारीग्वालियर विभाग संचालक अजय शर्मा ने विवेकानंद केंद्र का परिचय देते हुए बताया कि 1972 से माननीय एकनाथ जी द्वारा स्थापित विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी अपनी 250 से अधिक शाखाओं एवं दस हजार से अधिक दायित्ववान कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा 26 प्रदेशों एवं चार केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में संस्कार शिविरोंस्वाध्याय एवं योग वर्गोंयुवा प्रेरणा एवं व्यक्तित्व विकास शिविरों के माध्यम से मनुष्य निर्माण से राष्ट्र निर्माण के पावन कार्य में रत है। पुस्तक भारतीय संस्कृतिः चुनौतियां एवं सम्भावनायें की सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एडवोकेट जे. साई दीपक द्वारा लिखी गयी प्रस्तावना का वाचन प्रहलाद सबनानीविभाग संघ संचालक (राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ) द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया। अध्यक्षीय उद्बोधन एवं आशीर्वाद रामकृष्ण मिशन आश्रम ग्वालियर के सचिव स्वामी कृष्णामृतानंद महाराज द्वारा दिया गया। महाराज ने बताया कि विदेशी संस्कृति से प्रभावित माता पिता अपने बच्चों को भारतीय संस्कृति से विमुख करते हैं। विवेकानंद केंद्र इस दिशा में प्रभावी कार्य कर रहा है। स्वामी कृष्णामृतानंद महाराज ने आशा व्यक्त की कि निवेदिता दीदी को पुस्तक भारतीय संस्कृतिः चुनौतियां एवं सम्भावनायें सनातन संस्कृक्ति से समाज को सही दिशा देने में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निर्वाह करेगी। डॉ बी. आर. श्रीवास्तव जीसंचालक (कैंसर चिकित्सालय एवं शोध संस्थान) ने भावपूर्ण स्वागत करते हुए कवि हरिओम पंवार को उद्धृत कहा कि ये भारत कभी जगत गुरु था.. लेकिन जाने अनजाने क्या भूलें कर डाली जो हमने आजादी खोई थी। मिलिट्री पावर एवं आर्थिक शक्ति से देश संस्कारवान नहीं बनताइसीलिए विवेकानंद केंद्र जैसे संगठनों की आवश्यकता पड़ती है।

Deepavali Seva Activity by VK Dilsukhnagar Branch

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Telugu Prant, Hyderabad Vibhag, Dilsukhnagar Branch, organized a Deepavali Seva Activity on 18th October 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Devathala Gutta Swayambu Anjaneya Swami Temple, Balapur. A total of 34 participants, including 22 volunteers and 12 karyakartas, took part in the programme.

As planned by Yuva karyakarthas of Kendra during earlier sessions, the activity aimed to celebrate Deepavali in a meaningful way by sharing the joy of the festival with children from financially underprivileged backgrounds. Ten children from a local day-care centre were invited to participate in the celebration.

The programme began with a Temple Cleaning Seva, where volunteers and children worked together to remove plastic waste and overgrown grass from the temple premises, reflecting the values of cleanliness and collective effort. This was followed by Hanuman Maharaj Puja and Hanuman Chalisa Parayan, which filled the atmosphere with devotion and spiritual energy.

After the puja, diyas were lit, crackers were burst, and sweets were shared, symbolizing the light of togetherness and service. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets, snacks, and crackers to all the children, spreading festive cheer and happiness.

This Deepavali Seva embodied the spirit of “Love Bharath, Serve Bharath,” demonstrating that true celebration lies in serving others selflessly.

As Swami Vivekananda said, “They alone live who live for others; the rest are more dead than alive.”

Welcoming the 100th Year Celebration of RSS Path Sanchalan

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Nagarsthan warmly welcomed the 100th Year Celebration of RSS Path Sanchalan on 11th October 2025. A total of 36 members took part in the occasion, including 27 Samskara Varga students, 2 Shikshaks, and 7 members from the general public.

Before the procession arrived, the Samskara Varga students engaged in Seva by cleaning the road and decorating it with rangoli. They arranged the photo of Bharat Mata and held the portrait of Swami Vivekananda while enthusiastically raising patriotic slogans, creating a devotional and inspiring atmosphere.

The event served as a moment of pride, devotion, and cultural unity for all participants.

Saplings Workshop at RT Nagar

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Nagarsthan organized a Saplings Workshop on 11th October 2025 at Samhita School of Performing Arts. A total of 27 children actively participated. The session aimed to create awareness among children about the process and importance of planting.

Shri Bharath Ji explained and demonstrated the steps involved in preparing saplings and the materials required for the process. The children observed attentively and enthusiastically participated in the activity. They were also encouraged to prepare one sapling at home, reinforcing the spirit of environmental care and responsibility.

Lalita Sahasranama Parayana Programme at Hebbal

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Hebbal Branch organized the Lalita Sahasranama Parayana Programme on 11th October 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Vivekananda Kendra Hebbal karyalaya, marking the concluding session of the Lalita Sahasranama workshop conducted by the Amrit Parivar team. A total of 66 people took part in the programme.

The programme commenced with three Omkaras, Shanti Mantra, and Deepa Prajwalana, followed by Panchanga by Sitalakshmi Ji and Subhashita by Vaidya Ji. Abinnaya Ji and her team rendered the devotional song Sri Chakra Raja, creating a deeply devotional ambience. This was followed by Kendra Parichaya by Smitha Ji.

The chief guest of the evening, All India Sahitya Seva Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra, Adv. Jyoti Didi, addressed the gathering. She spoke about the significance of Devi Shakti and the spiritual benefits of chanting the Lalita Sahasranama—to awaken the divine energy within and realize the path to inner peace and self-realization. She also emphasized that the work of Vivekananda Kendra itself is a means to manifest this divine power and urged all to participate in Kendra activities.

The chanting of Lalita Sahasranama was then conducted with devotion, followed by a soothing meditation session led by Shri Prasad Ji, helping participants experience serenity and inner stillness. The programme concluded with Mangala AratiShanti Mantras, and Prasadam distribution, leaving everyone inspired and spiritually elevated.

Leadership Development Workshop for Youth – 2025 at Pune

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Maharashtra Prant, Pashchim Maharashtra Vibhag, Pune Branch, organized a Leadership Development Workshop for Youth on 5th October 2025 at B.M.C.C. College, Pune as part of the Youth Leadership Development Activity. The workshop was conducted with great enthusiasm and discipline, drawing the participation of 70 youths (41 girls and 29 boys) along with 43 volunteers, bringing the total attendance to 116.

The sessions included “Know Thyself” (SWOT Analysis) and Self-Grooming by Shri Sharad Dada Mane, followed by physical activities such as Surya Namaskar and interactive games designed to foster teamwork and vitality. Participants also engaged in group discussions on topics like Operation Sindoor, Vision 2047, Tariff War, and Swadeshi, which inspired thoughtful dialogue on leadership and national consciousness.

The workshop concluded with an experience-sharing session, a motivating address by Ms. Anjali Tai, and a group photograph, marking the successful culmination of a day filled with learning, inspiration, and collective growth.

Vijayadasami and Vidyarambham Celebration 2025 at VKV Vallioor

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Vallioor (VKV-Vallioor), celebrated Vijayadasami and Vidyarambham with devotion and enthusiasm on 2nd October 2025 at the Yoga Hall of the school. The event, attended by 25 parents, children and teachers, was graced by Smt. Janaki PushpamVK-RDP Coordinator, Tirunelveli District, and Smt. M. Natchiyar Sundarraj, Vice President, Nanguneri Town Panchayat, as Chief Guests.

The celebration began with a soulful prayer song rendered by the teachers, setting a serene spiritual tone for the day. Smt. T. Saravana Usha delivered the welcome address and spoke about the significance of Vijayadasami, highlighting its importance as an auspicious occasion for new beginnings in learning.

In her address, Smt. Janaki Pushpam from Vivekananda Kendra shared an inspiring message, emphasizing the role of cultural and spiritual values in education. Sri S. K. Subramanian ji, Correspondent of the school, guided the Vidyarambham ceremony with motivating words that left a lasting impression on the participants.

As part of the traditional ritual, newly admitted students wrote the sacred symbol ‘OM’ in turmeric rice, symbolizing the start of their lifelong journey of learning under the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.

The program concluded with the Kendra Prarthana, filling the atmosphere with devotion, gratitude, and inspiration to pursue knowledge with purity and dedication.

Navaratri Celebrations across Tamil Nadu Prant

The auspicious festival of Navaratri was celebrated with tremendous enthusiasm and devotion at the branch centres of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari across Tamil Nadu Prant. The highlight of the celebrations was the traditional Golu display, a cherished cultural practice that unites communities, fosters faith, and preserves the wisdom of generations.


The Golu, an artistic arrangement of dolls and figurines on tiered steps, was set up from 22nd September to 2nd October 2025 at various centres. This vibrant display traces the journey of life, featuring themes from mythology, ancient epics, divine stories, as well as glimpses of everyday life. Golu serves as a living form of storytelling, imparting moral and cultural lessons, celebrating the victory of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and the joy of unity.

Each evening during Navaratri, the Karyakartas, well-wishers, and local communities gathered at the centres to chant slokas, sahasranamas, devotional songs, and bhajans, culminating in the arathi ritual. Festive Prasad was lovingly prepared and distributed each night, further deepening the bonds of camaraderie and shared devotion.

Celebrations at Major Centres
Chennai – 9 Steps of Divine and Cultural Harmony

At the Kendra Karyalaya in Triplicane, a magnificent nine-step Golu was arranged, showcasing scenes from Krishna Leela, Tirumala Tirupati, traditional weddings, a cricket ground, and children’s park, alongside spiritual leaders and freedom fighters. The meticulous organization was led by Smt. Kavitha Akka, Sah Sanyojak, Valmiki Nagar with active participation from the Mahila Yoga Varga participants, who also undertook Prasad preparation. The Chennai display emphasized the blend of spiritual, cultural, and social motifs, offering a comprehensive narrative for all visitors.

Madurai – Stories from Scriptures and Tradition
At the Balaji Nagar Karyalaya, a stunning nine-step Golu was arranged, featuring Ashtalakshmi, revered Acharyas, scenes from Mount Kailash, and the Dasavatharam. Karyakartas from Balaji Nagar and Amrit Parivar participants collectively organized and facilitated daily devotional gatherings. The displays not only highlighted mythological tales but also fostered inter-generational discussions and participation among youth and elders alike.

Kovilpatti – Harmony of Life and Spirit
The five-step Golu at Kovilpatti Karyalaya captured the essence of human life on the first three steps, with figurines of common people, animals, freedom fighters, and spiritual leaders. The top two steps showcased the divine through various deities. Shri. Paramaguru Anna, with the support of local Karyakartas, made the program an engaging and meaningful experience for all attendees.

Headquarters, Kanyakumari – Grand Eleven-Step Display
Navaratri was celebrated at the Shri Ekakshara Mahaganapathy temple, Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari Headquarters, with a majestic eleven-step Golu. The display included elaborate scenes of Sabarimala, Meenakshi Thirukalyanam, Hanuman’s visit to Sri Lanka, Krishna lifting the Govardhan Giri, the Naalvar from the Saiva tradition, the cosmic dance of Nataraja, the six abodes of Muruga, and the Vanara Sena building the Ram Setu. Each step was a tapestry of culture, faith, and artistry, captivating everyone who attended.

Across all locations, the Golu celebrations embodied the spirit of oneness. Friends, families, and neighbors visited each centre, exchanged offerings, sang devotional songs, and shared festive treats. The events served as platforms not only for religious enrichment but also for strengthening social bonds and passing cultural wisdom to younger generations.

Saraswathi Pooja Celebration - VKV Kanyakumari

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Kanyakumari (Tamil Nadu Prant), celebrated Saraswati Puja with devotion and enthusiasm on 1st October 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the school premises. A total of 70 participants took part in the celebration, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi, the embodiment of wisdom, learning, and art.

The program began with the collective chanting of Sri Mahishasuramardhini Stotram by all participants, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. This was followed by the singing of bhajans and devotional songs in praise of the Goddess. The pooja was performed with traditional rituals, invoking the divine grace of Saraswathi for knowledge and enlightenment.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of prasadam to all, marking the event as a spiritually uplifting occasion that reinforced the cultural and devotional values among students and teachers.

Viveka Vibhuti - Monthly Support to Needy People by VKVVF

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Kerala Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur organized the Viveka Vibuthi for the month of September 2025 on 30th September at Ashrayam Agathi Mandhiram, Kodungullur, from 1 p.m. onwards. A total of 5 Karyakartas participated in the programme.

As part of the Amrita Kutumbham initiative, Viveka Vibuthi is a special drive of Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation aimed at extending support to the needy and economically backward sections of society. The September programme was conducted at Ashrayam Agathi Mandhiram, which shelters around 36 elderly inmates, both men and women, who are ailing and in need of care and compassion. Kendra Karyakartas—Smt. Bindu Chechi, Smt. Remya Ji, Sri Nandakumar Ji, along with two yoga students—executed the Seva with dedication. Annadhanam was offered, and the team spent quality time with the residents, listening to their health concerns and offering words of comfort and encouragement.
