His Excellency Shri. Ram Nath Kovindji, Honourable President of India visited Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra on 25th December and 26th December 2019. Tamil Nadu Governor Shri. Banwarilal Purohit, Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister V. M. Rajalakshmi and many dignitaries received him on 25th evening. The President spent nearly thirty minutes on the Rock Memorial where he spent some time in meditation. The picturesque background of the Memorial, the three seas and the inexplicable scintillating ambience filled with tranquility and the beauty of Sunset must have impressed our Honorable President as he made a mention about the unfading serenity of this wonderful place of pilgrimage during the course of his address. He offered His Pranams to Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother and Swamiji. His visit would be rejoiced in the days to come.

Ma. Balakrishnanji, Ma.Pravin Dabholkarji and other Senior Members of Kendra were present. During his thought-provoking address His Excellency told that Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a distinct place of pilgrimage which ever emits positive vibrations. It leads the unrest mind towards tranquility. The spiritual magnetism of the Rock transformed Swamiji into a Global Messenger of Bharatiya Sanskriti after His Meditation. As Swamiji unequivocally told we have to give back our nation its lost individuality. Swami Vivekananda uttered in front of the world religious leaders that he was proud to belong to a religion which has taught tolerance and universal acceptance. His Excellency paid glorious tributes to Ma. Eknathji the Chief Architect behind Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra for his untiring efforts in materializing this magnificent project involving the entire nation by his organizational skills. With the spirit of true Karmayogi, he materialized his chosen mission. The Hon'ble President also mentioned about the establishment of the living memorial of Swamiji-Vivekananda Kendra and acknowledged its services and its expansion. His Excellency's concluding message is very relevant. He told Vivekananda Rock Memorial stands as a confluence of diversities and teaches us ever to expand our small individual identities. He emphatically told that Swami Vivekananda's message would perennially inspire the people in the days to come. The President also visited Ramayana Darshanam and Bharat Mata Sadanam and witnessed the Audio-Visual Programme.
