Chanting of 12th Chapter by Samskar Varga students,

A Bhajan on Sri Krishna by Kum. Souparnika, Sharing of learning from Srimad Bhagavad Gita by Kum. Kalyani Didi, Radha Devi Didi, Smt. Kavitha ji, Shri. Ajikumarji.

Mananeeya  Hanumanta Rao ji (Vice President- VRM & VK) spoke on the auspicious day about the importance of Learning and Living the message of Bhagavad Gita. Starting Kshetre Kshetre Dharmam kuru, he said anything we do for only the deha (body), is not Dharma. When we do it for the Society it is Dharma. Vyasthi Jeeva, Samashthi Ishwara, we need to proceed from Deha Buddhi through Dharma Buddhi to Daiva Buddhi. Important 4 points to remember Nirmama, Nirahankara, Niswartha, Nissanga(detachment).... These will lead us to a dharmic life. He also said our life should be with Nishtha, to be a Nishthavan we have to have Niyam (discipline). He reminded us about Jagadguru Aadi Shanakaraachyarya's commentaries and said: Jeeva is Vyashti and Samashti is Ishwara iti Vendanta Dimdima: Time and again he quoted msg from Mahabharata.

आज विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा- पुर्णिया द्वारा गीता जयंती सफ्ताह के अंतगर्त  महिला महाविद्यालय में योग और गीता मानवीय जीवन का प्रबल प्रकाश स्तंभ विषय पर विमर्श कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया मुख्य वक्ता माननीय हनुमन्त राव जी (अखिल भारतीय उपाध्यक्ष),मुख्य अतिथि पूर्व प्रति कुलपति जयप्रकाश नारायण झा,अध्यक्षता श्री संजय सिंह प्राचार्य ने की ।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्रान्त सम्पर्क आ० विजय कुमार वर्मा जी द्वारा किया गया। विशेष उपस्थिति रामकृष्ण मिशन पुर्णिया के सचिव पूज्य जितेंद्रीयनन्द महाराज जी और आ.मुकेश कीर जी प्रान्त संगठक की रही।

कुल उपस्थिति:-105 रही जिसमें महिविद्यालय की छात्राएं,प्राध्यापक के साथ नगर के प्रबुद्ध जन भी उपस्थित रहे।

Yoga Satra Concluding and Gita Jayanti Programme – Madurai

A Yoga Satra was conducted from 21.11.2022 to 30.11.2022 (10 days) at Sri Varatha Raja Perumal Temple, S.R.V. Nagar. Totally 9 participants comprising 8 sisters and 1 brother participated in the yoga satra. 

The concluding program of the yoga satra and the Gita Jayanti celebrations were held together on Dec 1, 2022, from 6.15 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. in which 45 people participated.

The program started with prayer followed by the welcome address, a presentation of the yoga satra report, and experience sharing by satra participants. Vyavastha Pramukh, VK Madurai Sri. Palaniappan Ji gave a brief speech on the topic ‘Yoga, a way of life’ in which he explained the real meaning of yoga and the importance of character-building in yoga sadhana. After that, all yoga varga participants did pushpanjali to Omkar and took Sankalpa to continue their yoga practice regularly. Subsequently, Gita Jayanti was also celebrated. President of Sri Ramakrishna Sevashramam, Thiruparankundram Sri. Natarajan Ji gave a brief talk on the importance of Gita Jayanti in which he cited some important slokas from the Bhagavad Gita and explained their meaning. All the program participants did pushpanjali to Omkar and Sri Krishna and all took Sankalpa to read Bhagavad Gita and practice its message in daily life. The program was concluded with the Shanti mantra and Kendra Prarthana. 

Gita Jayanti celebration various places in Mysore

At Mysore : On 3rd December celebrated at Kendra office, Ma. Bhanudasji, General Secretary presided the function. Ma. C V Gopinathji, Retd. Secretary, Govt of India was the Chief guest. Ma. Gopinathji spoke on  importance of Bhagavadgita in our daily life. Ma. Bhanudasji also gave speech on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. There was prize distribution of interschool and inter college winners on gita chanting competition, quiz and bhajan competition held on 30th November 2014. Celebration ended by Kendra Prayer.

Geeta Jayanti celebrated in Surat

At the occasion of Gita Jayanti all the karyakartas came together and celebrated the  Gita Jayanti. In the Karyakram total 11 karyakartas were present. The Karyakram was started with Prayer, Geet, Vivekvani, Letter of Gita Jayanti reading, Shri Jigneshbhai gave brief ideas on Gita in daily Life, all karyakartas are took sankalp for making story on Karma Yoga Shlok Sangrah and all stories will be told at Sanskar Varga, Santi mantra and Kendra Prathana.
