Free Medical Camps were organized in three flood affected villages in Assam & Arunachal Pradesh by Vivekananda Kendra Swasthya Seva Sadan, Tinsukia & Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh.
Medical Camps were conducted at Silghat Tarani Gaon of Sadiya, Assam (28th June 2022), Nepun Majgaon of Amarpur, Assam (14th July 2022) and Ahomchukgoan of Arunachal Pradesh(4th July 2022). This is to be mentioned that Nepun Majgaon village of Amarpur is a very remote island of mighty Dibang river & our team had to cross two rivers to reach this village. A total 307 patients were examined by our medical team and free medicines were given to the patients. The camps were supported by All Students Union, Sadiya Unit & All Lekang Youth & Students Union, Lekang Unit. Medicines were donated by Arogya Foundation of India, Mumbai.
