GURU PURNIMA AT RK MISSION COMPLEX, ITANAGAR

The Guru poornima  was also celebrated among the Children of in an around RK Mission area .Shri Ashok Atale, Nagar Sangathak VK Arunjoti  through story of great Rishis and guru explained about the Guru sisya Parampara and appealed them to practice the system to develop oneself in right direction.

GURU PURNIMA AT NYDER NAMLO, C-SECTOR, ITANAGAR

Shri Kabak Dokum, welcome the gathering on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima celebration at, C-Sector NYDER NAMLO, Itanagar.

Shri Nabam Tataji  explained the importance of Guru Purnima recalling the Guru- Sisya relation from time immemorial, in the context to Arunachal Pradesh Society, the Nyibus and Nyegams are the supposed to be the Gurus who shows the path of light and intelligence.

Beloved Rigio Tada, Priest of Nyedar Namlo, C-sector, Itanagar  was felicitated on this occasion by Vivekananda Kendra’s Shri Nabam Tataji has handed over the award and the Citation for his yeoman Services and contribution towards the society.

Shri Wangdep Lawang, Karyakarta of Vivekananda Kendra highlighted about the yearlong programme of 150th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and its brief report till today. He appealed one and all to take active participation in the yearlong celebration of Swami Vivekananda and send the message of Wake Bharat and enlighten the world to Nook and corner of the state.

Shri Kasung Yangfo thanked all the participants and specially congratulated Shri Rigio Tada the recipient of the award for coming and being the part of the programme.

ACTIVITY REPORT : 2012-13 : VK UDUPI

CAMPS AND COMPETITION: 

Cultural examination conducted on Swami Vivekananda’s Life and Message at 6 colleges in Udupi District, 500 students wrote the examination.

One Day youth camp conducted at A V Baliga college of Social Works and Rural Development on June 22nd , 80 students attended. Sri Sharatchandra Kamat talked about Personality Development, songs, group discussion and games are other events in the camp.

Sthaneeya Karyakarta Prashikshana Shibir at A V Baliga College of Social works Brahmavara on 18 and 19th August. 55 karyakarata’s participated in which 24 sisters and 31 brothers from Udupi district.  Ad. Uni Didi inaugurated the shibir and talked on Ma. Ekanathji and Story of Rock Memorial. Sri Aravinda Prasad  took session on Vivekananda Kendra and Activities and 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Intensive on Samskara Varga,  Swadhaya Varga and Yoga Varga. Mantra & Geeta Abhyasa, Karma yoga shloka sangraha, Bhajan taught to participants. At the time of Ahuti satra all; karyakarta’s took sankalpa to work for 150th birth celebration.      

One day youth camp at Shankaranarayana on 24th Januaray, 100 students from Govt college Shankaranarayana participated. Sri Ratnakara, Vidyarathi Karyakarata handled the camp.

Three Days Residential Youth Camp conducted at Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari from 17th to 19th March 2013, in which 30 students from 3 colleges participated. Sri Deepakji took the session.

Utsavas

On 12th January Vivekananda Jayanti celebrated at A V Baliga college. Essay and elocution competition arranged for the students.

Two places at Shankaranarayan (Kundapura taluk) celebrated Vivekananda Jayanti. Sri Chandra, Samskara varga pramukh talked on swamiji. Free study materials distributed to the needy students.

GURUPOORNIMA UTSAV AT NAGARKOIL

Guru Poornima was grandly celebrated at two places by Nagerkoil branch of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakuamri.

Vivekananda Kendra Nagerkoil Branch and Ammasi Mutt jointly celebrated Guru Poornima at Meenaxipuram.  At morning 11'o clock  Guru Poornima celebration started with  Bhajans by the karyakartas and Bhajan mandali. "Desamei namaku ellam kodukudu....... " song was there.  The special lecture by Sri Jyoti Aravindanji who lectured on importance of Gurupoornima with reference to Swami Vivekananda.  Guru Stotram chanted by all and Aarati  was there.  The total counting at the beginning was 60people.

At Shaktigramam Guru Poornima celebrated at evening on 22nd July 2013. Sanskar Varga children performed Suryanamaskar, "Desamei namaku ellam kodukudu......" song, and Simha Garjanai.  The chief guest Sri Aravindan Neelakandanji  lectured on importance of Guru Poornima and Need of the hour for the people.  Guru Stotram chanted and sankalpam taken by the all 150 persons involve in Utsav Celebration.

CAMPS AND COMPETITION

1. One Day Youth Camp at Govt College  Kavoor in the month of June. 36 students participated.

2. One Day Youth Camp at Govt college Car street in the month of August. 50 students participated.

4. Vijaya poorna vijaya students of Govt college Bantwala  celebrated Vivekananda Jayanthi in 125 places at Bantwala taluk. 

5. 3 Days Residential Youth Camp conducted at Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari from 18th to 20th January 2013, in which 207 students from 16 colleges participated. Ma. A Balakrishanji, Vice President, Vivekananda Kendra, Ma. Bhanudasji , General Secretary,  Ma. Hanumanta Raoji, Treasurer inspired the students in their talks.

6. Inter School Patriotic Song and Drawing Competition: On 17th Feb 2013 competition held at Sharada Niketan,  Chilibi. 136 students from 9 schools participated.

7. Eye Camp: 17th January, 2013 Eye Camp organized at Kavalakatte village in Bantwala Taluk. More than 150 people benefited in camp.  Free spectacles distributed for 60 people. 6 people got operation at Nitte hospital. 

Utsavas

1. Vivekananda Jayanti: On 3rd March celebrated Vivekananda Jayanti at Sharada Niketan. Sri K C Prabhu, Governer Lions Club was the Chief guest.

2. Geeta jayanti :  on 22nd December celebrated . Sri Mohan Kumar Kumblekarji, Samyojak V K Mangalore briefed the importance of the day. 

3. 3 Days “ Vijaya poorna Vijaya “ residential camp at Pilikula, Mangalore from 21th to 23rd December 2012. 82 students from 9 colleges participated. Sri Prabhakarji, Deputy Registrar of Mangalore University inaugurated the camp. Topic My Hero Swami Vivekananda by Sri Mohan Kumar Kumblekar,  Puny Bhumi Bharat by Sri Krishna Bhat of Samskara Bharati and Challenges and responses by Sri Krishna Bhat were the main speaker. Prayer, yoga, shramadhan, group discussion & presentation, games are other activities in the camp.

GURU PURNIMA AT MEDAR NELO, PREM NAGAR NAHARLAGUN (ARUNACHAL)

The Programme started with Patriotic song presented by Duyu Tailyang followed by welcome address .Shri Dangsam Songthing has briefed about the work activity of Vivekananda Kendra in AP and its work activities.

Shri Gyati Ranaji, Asmita Aayam of Sardh sati Samaroh presented Key note Address regarding Guru poornima and its importance .Hel also said that in similar manner in the Medar Nelo POPI SARMIN is conducted ,where Nyibus are recognized for their Good work, selfless services to the society.

Beloved Tailyang Tade was Felicitated by Vivekananda Kendra with a Beautiful Citation and awarded through Shri Gyati Ranaji ,Vivekanada Kendra.

Shri Tok Thomas, while informing about the five aayam of Swami Vivekananda Sardh Shati Samaroh 2013-14 appealed all the audience to join this year long Programme.
