Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Branch: Brahmapur organised  Yuva Sammelan under the aegis of Mananeeya Eknathji Janma Shati Parva. 12 Safal Yuva- Yuva Bharat workshops were organised at different institutions wherein 936 youth participated. out of them 376 registered themselves for yuva sammelan and 306 attended the Yuva Sammelan on 23rd November 2014.

 Col. Sushant Kumar Jena inspired students to lead a successful and meaningful life also encouraged them to join army. Odisha Pranta Sangathak Shri. Ravi Bhiaya told them about Swami Vivekananda's Life and Message. The participants were divided in 6 different groups for games and interaction. Dr. Sudhir Rout, Director, Arayabhatta Institute, Dr. Chittaranjan Panda, Lecturer, RIPS, Dr. Gopal Krishna Panigrahy, Nagar Pramukh, S/ Siddhartha Rauta, Yuva Pramukh, Smt. Janaki Panigrahy, Prashikshan Pramukh and S/ Ram Prasad Mishra, Vibhag Vyavastha Pramukh interacted in different groups. In Samapan Satra, Su. Pranjali didi, Bhanja Vibhga Sanghatak, inspired youth for Yuva - Seva.

Yuva Sammelan in Dhemaji and Lakhimpur

Series of Nation-wide Yuva Samelan have been  started in Assam as part of Ma. Ekanathji Janma Shati Parva. Vivekananda Kendra  conducted various Nation-wide leadership programs for Youths. As part of these programs, presentation based on the Success Story of Vivekananda Rock Memorial has been shown in various collages followed by group discussions. Next step of these program is Yuva Samelan (Youth leadership camp).

In Assam, Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts inter-collage Yuva Samelan were organized by Vivekananda Kendra. Hundrads of Students participated in the "Yuva Samelan". It was 4 hours program, consist of  small lectures on various subject like leadership, Swami Vivekananda, leadership games and group discussion on current problems and it's solutions.

Sanskar varga sammelan in Surat

Sanskar varga sammelan was conducted on 5/9/2014, Sunday from 04:00p.m to 6:30p.m at Punagham. There were the 4 sanskar vargas (Udhana Sanskar Varga, Dindoli Sanskar Varga, Ambika-2 Dindoli Sansakra Varga & Punagham Sansakr Varga)  were merged and the sammelan was conducted by the Vaga Shikshakhs  of Sanskar Varga of the 4 SV running at Surat. There were  48 in total in which 9 karyakartas  were present and 39 Sanskar varga Children.

YUVA SAMMELAN ARUNJYOTI

Arun Jyoti, the service project of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari conducted one Yuva Sammelan at VKV, Kharsang on 24th February 2014. 123 youths, some of them are Ex-VKV'ians participated in that day long camp. There were 42 participants from Bordumsa, 41 from Kharsang, 34 from Changlang and 6 from Miao.  Sri A.Balakrishnanji, all India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra delivered the keynote address. 

In his address he stressed the need of positive forces to bring change in society. To build strong national character, he appealed the youths to absorb the ideology of Swami Vivekananda i.e. “Serve Men, Serve God”. He participated in a conversation session where the participants asked him various questions. Er.N.Ngemu, Vibhag Parmukh of Vivekananda Kendra of Tirap vibhag delivered the concluding lecture.
