Universal Brotherhood Day and Book Launch Ceremony – Wardha

On September 11, 2025, a grand four-fold event was organized with great enthusiasm by Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari – Wardha Branch in collaboration with Satyanarayan Bajaj Public Library, Wardha. The event included:

• Celebration of Universal Brotherhood Day

• A book release ceremony

• An inspiring lecture

• Felicitation of dedicated volunteers (Sevavratis)

• Recognition of talented youth speakers

The event was presided over by Shri Bharatji Joshi, Vidarbha Region Head, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari.

During the program, Padma Shri Dr. Vilasji Dangre, President of Narkesari Publications and a renowned Homeopathy expert, was honored by the Kendra. In his response to the felicitation, Dr. Dangre expressed his gratitude to the Wardha branch and shared his thoughts on Swami Vivekananda’s historic speech in Chicago.

The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Lakheshwarji Chandravanshi, Editor of Kendra Bharati, Vivekananda Kendra Hindi Publication Department, Jodhpur. He delivered a powerful and inspiring talk, elaborating on the significant events from Swami Vivekananda’s life.

All the karyakartas (volunteers) of the Wardha Nagar branch were present at the event, along with approximately 125 eminent citizens from Wardha city.

"Samidha" in Vidarbha

"Every being wants to be successful but with the success a human life has to be purposeful.", Ma. Shri. Vishwasji Lapalkar expressed his thoughts while delivering the lecture in 'Samidha' programme in Amravati on 19/11/2015. Ma. Vishwasji is Prant Sangathak for maharashtra and Goa. The programme was presid

ed over by commissioner of Amravati Muncipal corporation Shri. Chandrakant Gudewar. Shri. Anand Bagdia, Vidarbha Vibhag Pramukh, was chief guest. The programme was held at Town Hall, Nehru Maidan at 6.30 pm. 100 people attended.

A Medical camp was arranged by Dr Hedgewar Hospital at Ma. Eknathji's birth place - Timtala - from 10 am to 2 pm.  Patients from 3/4 surrounding villages visited the camp. They had check-up and were given medicines.

On 21st Nov.2014, Vivekananda Kendra, Wardha branch organised Samidha programme at Bajaj vachanalay. Shri. Satish Mahajan, Head of the Department (Medicine) of Javaharlal Nehru Medical college presided over the programme. Ma. Nivedita Bhide, vice-president of Vivekananda Kendra addressed the audience. She elaborated on the inspiring message of Swami Vivekananda and Ma. Eknathji's tireless efforts to realize it. Shri. Pramod Borkar, Nagar Sanchalak, proposed vote of thanks.

Ma. Nivedita Didi emphasised on Ma. Eknathji's vision in starting the service activities in North - Eastern region of our country, while speaking in Nagpur programme on 22nd Nov. Shri Satishji Wate, Director of National Environmental Engineering Research Institute presided over the function. Dr. Jagadish Hedawoo, Superintendent of Government Medical College and Nagpur Nagar Sanchalak explained the importance of the programme. A book published by Vivekananda Kendra Prakashan Trust - Learning for a Manager -  was released and it was well received by the audience.  

Vivekananda Kendra Maharashtra Pranta has brought out a 12 pages calendar in Marathi. In this calendar Kendra's service activities are depicted on each page. In each of the Samidha programmes in Vidarbha, the calendar was released. Vivekananda Kendra activities were presented to audience in P Pt. form. Kendra books were also available for sale. A short but very inspiring film on Ma. Eknathji's life and work was liked by all. A beautiful song about Ma. Eknathji added to the beauty of the programme. Programmes ended with Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana.

वर्धा में विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस

विश्व बंधुत्व दिवस दिनांक 11-09-2015 को INSTITUTE of PHARMACEUTICAL EDUCATOIN & RESEARCH वर्धा मेंसायं 5 बजे सम्पन्न हुवा। इस अवसर पर मुख्यवक्ता के रूप में नागपुर के Engineer श्री श्रीनिवास वर्णेकर, मुख्य अतिथि IPER के प्राचार्य डा. अार. ओ. गंजीवाले व कार्यक्रम के अध्यक्ष के स्थान पर विवेकानन्द वर्धा के नगर संचालक श्री प्रमोद बोरकर उपस्थित थे।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन नगर उत्सव प्रमुख श्री अमोल गाढ़वकर ने किया।  स्वामी विवेकानन्द की प्रतिमा के पूजन के पश्चात प्रार्थना से कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ हुवा। "विश्व धर्म की जय हो जय हो ......" यह गीत नूपुर भुसारी दीदी ने तथा विवेकवाणी विवेकानन्द केन्द्र वर्धा के संगठक धर्मेन्द्र पँवार ने प्रस्तुत की।

माननीय श्री एकनाथ जी जीवन पर आधारित एक लघु चित्रपट (video) प्रोजेक्टर के माध्यम से दिखाया गया , जिसके माध्यम से युवाओ ने माननीय श्री एकनाथ जी के प्रेरणादायी जीवन, विवेकानन्द शिला स्मारक व विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के बारे में जाना। कार्यक्रम  की प्रस्तावना नगर प्रमुख श्री अनंत बोबड़े ने रखी।

मुख्य वक्ता श्री श्रीनिवास वर्णेकर जी ने विश्व बंधुत्व की संकल्पना युवाओं के समक्षं रखते हुये कहा की भारतीय संस्कृती ने सदियों से बंधुत्व की भावना का प्रचार- प्रसार किया है।  हमारी संस्कृती ने हमें  सबके कल्याण की कामना करना व  प्रेम, बंधुत्व तथा आत्मीयता से सबके साथ रहना सिखाया है।

आज ही के दिन स्वामी विवेकानन्द ने विश्व धर्म संसद में बंधुत्व का सन्देश संपूर्ण विश्व को दिया था। स्वामी विवेकानन्द के द्वारा  दिए हुये इस बंधुत्व के सन्देश से  विश्व में शांति और सामंजस्य स्थापित  सकता है तथा राष्ट्र की उन्नति संभव है।

प्राचार्य डा. आर. ओ. गंजीवाले जी ने युवाओ को स्वामी विवेकानन्द के  विचारो  आत्मसात करने और विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के  जुड़ने का आव्हान किया।

श्री प्रमोद बोरकर जी विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के  आगामी उपक्रमों और भारतीय संस्कृती परीक्षा की जानकारी युवाओ को प्रदान की। शांतिमंत्र राजीव धात्रक भैया ने ने लिया। इस अवसर पर साहित्य का स्टाल भी लगाया गया था। कार्यक्रम के सफलतार्थ श्री अशोक सावरकर, श्री कुंदन पाटील, श्री शिरीष जवदंड, श्री उदयशंकर पॉल, श्रीमती अर्चना पॉल, श्री चारुदत्त हरदास, श्री आकश पत्की, श्री गणेश बागमारे, श्री मीतेश बिलखाडे  बिलखड़े, श्रीमती हेमा प्रमोद बोरकर इत्यादि केन्द्र कार्यकर्ताओ ने  किया।
