ENT OPD Camp organized by Kangra

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Uttar Prant Kangra branch, in collaboration with the Ripudaman Charitable Trust organized successful outcome of a Free ENT OPD Camp, on Saturday, May 24, 2026. Despite the challenging hot and humid weather, approximately 100 patients from across Himachal Pradesh attended the camp to receive specialized consultations and treatment.

The initiative was significantly bolstered by the expert participation of Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva, Principal Director of ENT Head and Neck Surgery at Max Group of Hospitals, Delhi, who generously provided his medical services throughout the day.

A notable highlight of the event was the identification of two young girl child patients in need of cochlear implant surgery, marking a vital step toward their long-term health. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva and the Ripudaman Charitable Trust for their invaluable support in this service initiative.

ENT Camp at Shuklai, BTAD - Assam

The Jogen Basumatary Memorial Vivekananda Kendra Hospital, Shuklai, Dist- Baksa, BTAD, Assam recently conducted one ENT camp at the Hospital premises.  The camp was inaugurated on 14th June 2013 by the local EM,Sri Ganesh Kachari. Man.Pravinji, the All India Joint General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari graced the inaugural programme. Dr.Pradeep Kumar, the ENT specialist from Bengaluru’s Meenakshi ENT Specialty Hospital and his team, rendered the services. The team consisted with two ENT Surgeons, one anesthetist and two OT technicians. They are-
1. Dr.Pradeep Kumar,ENT Surgeon
2. Dr.Meenakshi Pradeep, Anesthetist
3. Dr.Shreyas Pradeep, ENT Specialist
4. Mr.Justin, Camp Manager
5. Kum. Soumya, OT Nurse  
200 patients were examined with latest ENT equipments and 7 surgeries were conducted successfully during the camp.  All the OPD patients were provided with free medicines during the camp.
The Down Town Hospital of Guwahati donated one Surgical Microscope to our hospital. VKNRL Hospital, Numaligarh Refinery Limited donated medicines required for the camp. The local Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Sri Ganesh Kachari provided accommodations for the visiting team at Govt. Guest House.
