Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, RT Nagar Nagarsthan celebrated the 200th Week of Samskaravarga on 1 February 2026 at Samhita School of Performing Arts. The programme witnessed the participation of 63 people, making the occasion memorable and inspiring.
The celebration commenced with a prayer led by Ms. Mahesha, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp (Deepa Prajwalan) and the recitation of a Subhashita by Ms.Virupaksha. Ms. Ruchitha Akka delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the programme. This was followed by an invocation song presented by Shri Tarun and his team.
Ms.Thara Didi shared insightful thoughts with the participants, highlighting the importance of Samskara Varga in nurturing values and character among children. The programme featured a captivating Ganesha dance performed by the Samskarvarga students. Students and karyakartas also shared their experiences, reflecting on their journey and learning through the Samskarvarga activities. Ms. Sandhya Akka rendered a patriotic Desh Bhakti Geet, adding to the inspiring atmosphere of the programme. Engaging games were also organized for senior karyakartas, creating a lively and joyful environment.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri Bharath Ji, followed by the chanting of the Shanti Mantra and Kendra Prarthana. Prasada was distributed to all participants, marking the successful completion of the celebration.
