On the occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day, Vivekananda Kendra Madurai organised Drawing and Elocution competitions for school students. The competitions were conducted online and 37 students from various districts of Tamil Nadu enthusiastically participated in the competitions.
The felicitation program was held on 12.09.20 through G-Meet from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Nearly 35 students joined the program. The program started with prarthana and a short introduction about Kendra and its activites was given by Sri. M. Palaniappan Ji, Vyavastha Pramukh, VK Madurai. Sri. S. Prabakaran Ji gave the Ashirvachan in which the importance of Swamiji’s message to the world was conveyed.
Sri. D. Rajasekaran Ji, Anandalaya Pramukh, VK Madurai announced the names of those who have secured first three places in both the competitions. Their drawings were displayed and speeches were broadcast. All the participants were provided with E-Certificates of participation.
All the participants were informed about the online Samskar Varga which is being conducted every Sunday through Google Meet. All expressed their willingness to join the Samskar Varga through their reply. Sri. A. Selvaraj Ji, Nagar Pramukh, VK Madurai gave the happy address and the program was concluded with Sarve Bavanthu and Kendra Prarthana.
