Sri Rama Navami celebrated at Vivekananda Kendra Headquarters, Kanyakumari

The auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami was celebrated with profound devotion and spiritual fervor at the Vivekananda Kendra Headquarters, Kanyakumari, on March 27, 2026. Held at the serene Sri Ramayana Darshanam between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM, the program served as a beautiful tribute to the life and legacy of Lord Rama.

The celebration was graced by the presence of Aadaraneeya Kum. Radha Didi, Secretary Administration, Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Aadaraneeya Shri Sunil Ji, Campus In-charge, Vivekanandapuram Shri Ananda Sri Padmanabha Pillai Ji, Administrative Officer, Head Quarters.

Joined by the Kendra karyakarthas, the gathering partook in a morning of prayer and reflection, reinforcing the spiritual values that stand at the heart of the Kendra’s mission.

Sri Rama Navami Celebration at Mysore

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Chamundeshwari Devi Vibhag, Mysore Branch, celebrated Sri Rama Navami on March 27, 2026, with great spiritual fervor and devotion. The festivities were organized across two primary locations Jayanagar and Vijayanagar, bringing together devotees to honor the birth of Lord Rama. A total of 800 people attend the festivities.

The celebration was marked by a soulful Rama Bhajan and a traditional Pooja, creating an atmosphere of deep devotion. A highlight of the event was the insightful narration of the Balkand from the Ramayana by Kum. Dharmik, which captivated the audience with the timeless virtues of the Maryada Purushottama. In the spirit of selfless service, a grand Annadanam was organized at both venues.

Shri Ram Navami at Madurai


On the occasion of Shri Rama Navami (21/04/21), Vivekananda Kendra Madurai organised bhajan sandhyas at T.V.S. Nagar (Ram Vistar) and Balaji Nagar (Murugan Vistar) Karyalayas. Totally 26 karyakarthas were present.

At T.V.S. Nagar, bhajan sandhya was conducted from 6.30 p.m. to 7.15 p.m. in which 13 karyakarthas (11 Anandalaya children and 2 Acharyas) were present. After bhajan sandhya, all went to nearby Ramar temple and had a dharshan of Shri Godhanda Ramar. Children enjoyed both the bhajan and the darshan and elated with the spiritual experience.

At Balaji Nagar, bhajan sandhya was conducted from 6.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. In which 13 Karyakarthas (10 Anandalaya children, 2 elders and an Acharya) were present. All the children experienced the joy of chanting Shri Rama’s name and felt the grace of Shri Rama.
