Kendra Darshan – Kendra Parichaya Bhraman Organized by VK Chamundeshwari Devi Vibhag

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Chamundeshwari Devi Vibhag organized a three-day Kendra Darshan – Kendra Parichaya Bhraman (tour) from 6th to 8th July 2026 at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari, with the participation of 96 members, including 90 participants and 6 Karyakartas. The Bhraman provided an enriching opportunity for participants to understand the life and message of Swami Vivekananda, the inspiration and vision of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, and the multifaceted service activities of Vivekananda Kendra.

Day 1 – 6th July 2026

The participants arrived at Kanyakumari and attended two inspiring sessions. Aadaraneeya Radha Didi, Tamil Nadu & Keralam Prant Sangathak spoke on the significance of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, the life and mission of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, and the service activities of Vivekananda Kendra. Mananeeya Rekha Davey Didi, Joint General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari addressed the challenges faced in family and society, emphasizing the importance of cultivating noble values and good habits for individual and social transformation.

The participants also visited Shri Ramayan Darshanam & Bharat Mata Sadanam, attended a devotional Bhajan Sandhya, participated in Prerana Se Punarutthan (Happy Assembly), and watched a documentary on the life and work of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade.

Day 2 – 7th July 2026

The day began with Pratahsmaran near Mananeeya Eknathji's Samadhi, followed by meditation, sunrise darshan, and visits to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Kanyakumari Amman Temple.

Mananeeya Nivedita Didi, All India Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra conducted a session on Amrit Parivar, explaining the concepts of Amrit Prabhat, Amrit Shayan, Amrit Charcha, and Amrit Bhojan as practical means to nurture value-based and harmonious family life.

Later, the participants visited the Suchindram Shree Thanumalayan Swamy Temple, shared their experiences and learnings from the bhraman, and departed by train for Rameshwaram.

Day 3 – 8th July 2026

The group visited the sacred Rameshwaram Temple and later the Vivekananda Kendra NARDEP Office, Rameshwaram, where a group photograph was taken. The participants then travelled to Madurai and had darshan at the Meenakshi Amman Temple before returning to Mysuru.

The Kendra Darshan – Kendra Parichaya Bhraman proved to be a spiritually enriching and inspiring experience. It deepened the participants' understanding of the ideals and mission of Vivekananda Kendra and motivated them to imbibe these values and actively practice them in their personal, family, and social lives.
