Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Hebbal Branch conducted a 15-day Mantra Abhyas Workshop from May 1 to May 15, 2026. Held daily from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Vivekananda School of Yoga in Coffee Board Layout, Hebbal, the workshop was offered in a hybrid format—both offline and online—to ensure wide accessibility. A dedicated group of 21 participants, encompassing both enthusiastic children and elders, attended the sessions regularly.
The main objective of the workshop was to encourage the practice of chanting, improve pronunciation, develop concentration, nurture devotion and cultural values through regular mantra abhyas.

The sessions focused on correct pronunciation, rhythm, meaning, devotion, and memorization techniques. Participants actively practiced the chants every day with enthusiasm and discipline. The workshop created a spiritually vibrant atmosphere and helped participants develop confidence in recitation and a deeper connection with Indian cultural traditions.Children and elders alike showed keen interest and dedication throughout the programme. The combined offline and online format ensured wider participation and continuity in learning.
The workshop concluded successfully with positive feedback from participants and parents, who appreciated the initiative for promoting Sanskrit chanting, discipline, and spiritual learning among all age groups.
